CEX should have sales. It's more expensive than HMV.

Ashamed to say that 21 & Over amused me on at least 4 occasions. I forget what they were now, but I definately remember laughing in me head.

I think the answer is really quite simple here; WWE does not know how to create stars and consistently push them anymore. Some of the above listed guys might have become big names if used correctly in connection with fan reaction to them. WWE doesn't listen to their fans anymore, which is why certain guys initially "get over" but then fail. Either because of stop and start pushes or because they weren't ready to main event quite yet. Back in the older days, WWE would have had them in OVW until they were ready and able to contribute. The biggest thing holding talents back these days is "creative". It is obvious these morons writing the shows aren't fans of wrestling and do not know its history. If they were fans, the product would reflect that. I don't believe these people should be booking if they aren't fans first and foremost. Just look at some of the awful gimmicks or how people are/aren't used. The WWE machine has become its own worst enemy at times and that's why new talents cannot rise above it and break the glass ceiling to that next level. Guys like Ryder, Swagger, Bryan, and others are proof of that theory in actuality.

Spiritual Successor.

Any expectations for The Great Gatsby, Sam?

It's a Baz Luhrmann film, so it'll look a lot like this:

Going to watch Iron Man 3 tonight, it better be as good as what Jake has rated it.

A three star classic.

Iron Man 3 definately isn't as good as I've rated it.

Wade Barrett has lines in Dead Man Down. Mangles every one of them.

I know a Charlton fan (I know, right!) and he told me last night that Fuller had been released. That means that the rumours of him going to...eugh...Port Vale might be true.

You can have these who I consider Championship lever. Charloton are in the Championship, aren't they?

Glen Whelan
Dean Whitehead
Jermaine Pennant (He's Premiership quality still, but he's a cunt so he'll never play there again)
Ryan Shotton
Matty Etherington
Peter Crouch
Jonathan Walters
Michael Kightly

I think that might leave our squad lacking in some areas, but you're welcome.

I was going to run home and trumpet this as "a sci-fi classic", but then I took a moment and thought about what films I considered sci-fi classics - Blade Runner, The Terminator, The Matrix - and managed to restore some sanity. That said, definitely one of the better sci-fi blockbusters of the past decade, and this from someone who doesn't have a clue about Star Trek. Star Wars is in the right hands.

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

Can't say I know any Stoke fans. I think I saw one once.

They are, and I wish you'd stop misspelling their (our?) name.

What happened on Friday night:

Bartender with Chicago shirt on: How can I help?
Me: A pint of Kronenbourg please.
Bartender: OK. I will now get you that.
Me: Most excellent.
Bartender: Here is your beer.
Me: Brill. Say, is that your CM Punk action figure up there?
Bartender: Huh?
Me: Is that your CM Punk action figure?
Bartender: Um... yes.
Me: It's nice.
Bartender: Thanks. Here's a free drink for knowing who CM Punk is. Wanna be best mates?

Most of that is true.

The Kronenbourg part has got to be false.

I honestly did not get ID'd the entire night. Bar staff are getting lax these days. Sainsbury's too.

I'm So Excited - or United 69, as someone who's definitely not me so tastefully called it - is probably the gayest film Pedo Almodovar has ever directed, in every sense of the word. It's like a slightly more serious Airplane, only in Spanish.

The Great Gatsby isn't a book I've read. It's on my bedside table in fact, where it fell after the first chapter put me to sleep. I should have probably continued. You initially suspect it was just Baz Luhrmann's excuse to throw a period rave (the fuck is Jay Z doing on the soundtrack?) but it ends up dissolving into a genuinely decent film.

I should explain at this point that three stars from me is a recommendation. Let's put it like this:

Five stars - go and see this in cinemas while you have the chance, and push women and children out of the way if you have to
Four stars - go out of your way to see this
Three stars - worth a watch if there's nothing better on
Two stars - if there's absolutely nothing else on, go see this
One star - avoid, avoid, avoid

Star Trek was enjoyable. I don't really have much more to say about it. Cumberbatch has a lovely voice. He also looks like a paedophilic teacher.

Star Trek gets 4 stars from this critic. The actions was phenomenal and fresh, and Khan might be one of the best villains I've ever seen.

Cumbernatch was good but I would have liked to have seen him give a more eye-catching speech along the lines of

"He tasks me! He tasks me, and I shall have him! I'll chase him round the Moons of Nibia, and round the Antares Maelstrom, and round Perdition's flames before I give him up!"

Granted that kind of declaration was from a more world weary and angry Prime Khan than 'John Harrison.'

The only story point I would have had been different at the end of Star Trek Into Darkness were
Khan's actions after Spock fired the cryo-tube/missiles at the Vengeance. Thinking that his friends and family were dead quite rightly made Khan angry but I think they had him pick the wrong target for his anger. He should have attempted to destroy the Enterprise by ramming it with the Vengeance rather than crashing it into San Francisco.

Then again, maybe he could not as the Vengeance plummeted through the atmosphere and he was not nihilistic enough to destroy the Vengeance in the hope of taking out Spock like his Prime universe counterpart had done with the Genesis Device in trying to kill Kirk.

Maybe if Khan is resurrected later, he will have a similarly single-minded murderous thirst for revenge towards Spock.

I actually watched the first episode of Star Trek TOS last night after I saw the movie. The first episode felt more like a Twilight Zone episode than anything else, but I have faith it gets better.

Not a Trekkie. Never have been, probably never will be. I'm just too cool.

Six Fast Six Furious on Monday. With friends and everything. It's going to be my 30th movie spectacular. A Triple X if you will.

My friends went out last week and saw Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and Vin Diesel sitting together. I'd like you to speculate how this might have come to pass.

Rita Ora knows Vin Diesel through Fast & Furious 6 (they met on set and got along famously) and Nick Grimshaw has interviewed them both on E4 or T4. Whatever that show is.

Why do I know who Nick Grimshaw is?
