You have any interest in the Aliens: Colonial Marines game, Sam? Supposedly, the storyline picks up after Aliens and Alien 3, and the trailer is kind of cool. But I remember how bad the AVP games were (and like an idiot I bought both of them), so I'm still hesitating.

I agree with the ideas put forward in Spirit of '45 - wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, it somehow finds a way to be simultaneously on the nose and boring as fuck. About two thirds in, it just drops the facade, starts kicking Thatcher in the face and yelling about how brilliant socialism is. Why even bother with the facade in the first place?

Compliance-- I did have some thoughts about it, but they were mostly about the main girl's breasts. Inappropriate, really.

Truthfull I just slipped Oz & Welcome To The Punch in the middle. It's at that stage with the ★★★ films now. Oz was enjoyably bland. I fell asleep so I missed the end. Jake regrets nothing. Welcome To The Punch started off kinda stylish, kinda stupid. Then it just became stupid. I thought I might've been watching a comedy when that scene at the grannies house happened. But no, it was just shit.

Jack The Giant Slayer and something else today. I haven't decided yet.

Jack The Giant Slayer, what a lovely surprise you were. Ten minutes in and I though I had another Lincoln on my hands. However I'm pleased to report that it quickly turned around and became the most enjoyable film I've seen in a very long time. I'll never watch it again though. So those 4 stars are for keeps.

Walked out and I saw that Identity Thief started in 4 minutes. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Probably should've held out for 15 and seen Trance.
