12 Years a Slave is quite good actually, just not big on laughs.

American Hustle is funny but too long by half and full of showy performances. That said, if you can watch Bradley Cooper dry hump Louis CK and not crack a smile, you're a better man than me.

Jennifer Lawrence is pretty great. I didn't think this role was that great, but she was damn good in the newest Hunger Games movie.

Difficult not to be at three hours, but I've seen it done. Lawrence of Arabia, for example, will eat up most of your day.

Thor, The Dark World - better than the first, but still a bit shit? I think. I zoned out twice. The final battle with everyone teleporting dimensions was more chaotic and annoying than entertaining.

I cant handle the shared universe thing. Why arent they helping one another in these films?

this was especially prevelaint in Iron Man 3. A terrorist doing all these attacks on America, yet CAptain America has no involvement.
