Better than The Pacific. The first TV series that made me wince to boot. That's something to celebrate. It did a poor job of introducing me to the characters, with the exception of Winters, but still did it better than The Pacific.

Yeah it didn't introduce all the characters as well as it could have. However we did get just a little bit of insight in some of them. I think it was supposed to revolve around Winters, and it managed to do just that.

Besides I'm a mark for war movies revolving around World War 2. So it was quite a series for me.

Is the Pacific worth watching? I heard TM thought highly of it.
