Rey/Sin Cara Returns

I saw a report on WZ earlier stating when both these competitors plan to be back. I have also read some information on other websites.

As things stand, Sin Cara is around 4 months away from returning and is aiming for Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio is also around 4 months away from returning but is setting his sights on a May return.

Is there a chance their rumoured Wrestlemania 28 match could still happen? As we all know, anythign is possible with WWE.

I think with the whole mask thing going on at WM28, we will probably see both superstars in some capacity. Maybe even have Rey as a valet for Sin Cara in some kinda match.

I damn sure hope that both return to have the WM match.

The feeling you would get from knowing that Mistico (AKA Sin Cara) is going one-on-one with one of the greatest wrestlers of our generation. Cara was big in Mexico and I am sure the Miami crowd would go nuts over this match. Both of these guys are the personification of Lucha Libre wrestling (well... a personification of it when only considering the USA at the moment). I hope to see these 2 live at WM, and see the mask record broken.

If anything would be a plausible idea I would say that it is Sin Cara being back by then. Personally when I heard 6-9 months I was placing him back a little closer to May or June but with intensive training he may get lucky and be back in time for Wrestlemania. The only problem I see is that if he made it back it would be just barely making it in time which would mean one of three things, either: A. He gets thrown into a very last second match with Hunico to conclude their earlier storyline, B. They bring back the WM Money in the Bank match and he is entered as a surprise entrant, or C. He interferes in a match the Hunico is involved in once again to pick their storyline back up.

Mysterio I sadly do not see being involved at WM he is aiming for May and Rey is a very intelligent person who after all the injuries he's had will know when he is ready and will not return to action a second before.

What I see happening is both of these guys doing promotional work in Miami for Wrestlemania and being encouraged to push the mask merchandise to help reach the mask record goal.

I also agree. Both Mysterio and Cara are injured and I don't think its safe for them to come back early from injury. I can see them making a non-wrestling role appearance at WrestleMania 28, but when it comes to a match I think they should save it for SummerSlam 2012. Not only will both of these guys will be healthy by that time, but also it fits the mood.

Keep in mind, SummerSlam 2012 is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles. LA has a huge Hispanic demographic and having Mysterio/Cara match at SummerSlam will bring a demographic in. Although WWE needs to have another match between two other guys be the real headliner, but Mysterio/Cara can co-headline.

This is absolutely, without a doubt a great match - in a video game

With Sin Cara botching move after move after move on monthly PPV's, even injuring himself in the process, I honestly believe that he can't put on a great show on a wrestlemania. Although I want to see Rey rey and Sin Cara get it on in the ring, I just can't trust Sin Cara. He might botch and injure himself on the grandest stage of them all. I just don't know if the pressure of all the hype the WWE has given him is the suspect, or he is just nervous performing on a huge crowd, or perhaps he just need more practice and training. Bottomline is Sin Cara is not ready for a wrestlemania.

I believe the Wrestlemania match between Rey and Sin Cara will still take place. You can't always believe the timeframes that WWE give for when someone will be back from an injury. Look at Cena's return in 2008 for example. Rey VS Sin Cara at Wrestlemania will absolutely break the record in mask sales due to both guys' popularity and we would see a high flying centered match with both guys flying all over the place to do insane spots. I sure want to see it still happen. Sin Cara will definitely be back in time for Wrestlemania and I hope Rey will be too. We'll just have to wait and see.

Funny, I don't see either man to go heel, if WWE made one of them do so, it will kill the purpose of the match.I believe Rey wants to kinda past the touch to Sin Cara, and their match could be one of the best Cruiserweight matches of all time!

The feud would be nothing with two faces?? Plus, a high flyer against another high flyer would be saying that a great match would be put on between Big Show and Mark Henry( Thank you for ruining Vengeance and TLC but you're lucky your crappy match got saved by D-Bryan)!
