Raw LD 8/29/2016: 4 Big, Sweaty Men - 1 Master Of The Universe

I like Neville but I'd care more about him if he was promised knighthood, a castle, and a beautiful princess for winning matches.

Only saw the Cass and Roman parts of that segment. Roman standing tall probably means he won't get the title tonight. I am still hoping for an Owens win tonight, as both Rollins and Reigns with their current characters really aren't going to bring much intrigue given we've seen them both already with the Top title.

Cass, on the other hand, would be a good option to take the US title from Rusev in the near future.

Owens proved tonight that he can work very well like a 2011 CM Punk tweener type. I think he's the best option going forward as well.

I believe Brock's repetitive booking and matches and Heyman's repetitive promos are actually some of the WWE's best work in years. Since his return in 2012, they've desperately wanted Brock to be the most reviled heel of all. Despite their best efforts, it hasn't happened. Hasn't even been close... until now.

Glad someone else sees that. WWE have finally managed to get Brock to become exactly what they wanted when he broke the Undertaker's Mania streak. "The vocal minority" have turned on Brock big-time especially since his UFC doping problems reared its head. Contrary to popular opinion, whoever beats Brock will definitely get a huge rub, as long as WWE are smart about it.

You know I actually despised Brock after Summerslam, so I think it worked as well. Maybe Lesnar should even stop the suplexes because the crowd gets behind them a lot and bring him cheers.

only if he does something destructive but more infuriating to build heel heat. The Suplex City stuff is still loved more by casuals, but the hardcore fans are clearly finding it repetitive and boring.

The 'vocal minority' which I take is a shot at me didn't mind Lesnar at all. And on a personal level I don't give a fuck about his UFC drug testing failures. That's his problem not mine. And yes whoever beats him will of course get a huge rub, but that doesn't take away from the fact that his matches are boring. He's had fantastic booking always in the main event, and he always delivers. But like I said I find his matches one suplex after another, then an F5 and it's over. Oh I forgot about the knees and shoulders to the midsection the few times he gets them in.

I think the only the way they fuck it up is to attempt to give Roman that rub. The same vocal minority will shit all over that. Literally anybody else would get a huge rub. I'm thinking it should be Owens that gets the rub.

I like the girl in the 2nd or 3rd row wearing the red on the left of the screen that seemed genuinely shocked Neville lost.

Lesnar has what another 2 years or so left on his contract. Hopefully Owens is well on his way and doesn't need it by then.
