Since that dusty finish after Cesaro got the shot, they only had a 6-Man tag match and the match tonight to set up the next IC title match. What trading wins are you talking about?
Was it ever cool?
Orton's face turn is coming.
Think you are responding to the wrong person. Never said they were trading wins.![]()
You did say it was repetitive which is basically just the same.
I think they've been giving plenty of focus. They've been given screen time for Raw and Smackdown. You must not have been watching hard enough same with Sheamus/Miz. I don't think people realize how much time the mid-card champions have been given since Ziggler and Sheamus started to show up in the picture. At this time last year, Curtis Axel was being Punk's bitch and Ambrose was too busy being an Authority lapdog.
No its not the same. Just means showcasing them in matches only gets repetitive. Not saying it is the horrible route to take though since you already pointed out their flaws on the mic. Cessaro was horrible on commentary the other day.
Orton's face turn is coming.
If you agree with that point, then why are we having this argument again? I just wanted to point out that two guys having a feud based on who's the better man is all right especially if those guys aren't that good on the mic. Hell, Ziggler/Miz dare I say probably had the best IC title feud we've seen in a while and it was full of those non-wrestling segments but people still showed their displeasure.
I am aware of the fact it has improved, but with the WWE title not present because of the (Awesome) Part-time champion, you'd think the MidCard title scene would get more than just the customary one segment per RAW. Doesn't have to be a match of some form each time, but something to build the feud in a more effective manner(Dolph v Cesaro had an interesting start but it has sort of loss some momentum week by week after that early promise).
I actually appreciated that feud while it lasted, tbh. I think both guys sort of complimented each other.
However, given the start of Cesaro v Ziggler(heel tactics by Ziggler and all)...I guess I expected it to go a different direction than just, "who is the better man?" Maybe even a double turn of sorts would've been a nice shake-up.
Yeah, and what effective manner would that be? Seriously, I'm open to ideas here.
I'm all for a Cesaro face run, but I've seen enough of Ziggler as a heel to know that is not what anybody should want.
Haven't ever seen Ziggler as a Heel before.
Anything more than what they have been doing, basically. As I said, it started in an interesting manner(the title shot on SD, the 3-way match) and then it sort of petered out because that stuff with Dolph using heel tactics wasn't really explored much at all, whilst Cesaro even did the Big Swing,I believe at some point. The way it has turned out kind of gives the sense that Creative took a step back from the original idea(given how it all started out).
Now unless we get some sort of swerve again, I don't see this feud lasting beyond HiaC, and for me(who appreciates both guys), that is a bit of a bummer(given Miz v Dolph lasted longer).
Again, I guess for us it is a case of to "each his own". You seem fine with how they have been handled, I think there should've been more focus than has been given.
Just picture Dolph standing in the ring with a shit eating grin on his face while Vicki Guerrero cuts a promo.
How have you not seen Ziggler has a heel? God knows he didn't gain that fan base during his abysmal face run last year.
Alright show, they're really building Rollins as the top heel in the company which is huge when you think about it but feels so small scale with this roster they currently have. Like besides him and Orton who will be face soon who the hell is left?
