Which of the voices I use in my RP is your favourite? Does the voice I use for any of the characters affect your perception of them?
Dr. Coberer will always have a special place in my heart, but I am becoming quite the fan of the Irishman. The two voices are so distinct it gets easy to forget that they're both you. On the flipside, Southern Preacherman and Dr. Coberer are a little too similar in how whispery they are, which can brea the immersion slightly.
I think making your character voices so unique, rather than just your normal voice for all of them, helps me get a better idea of what the character is like. Every character should have a unique voice, even if it's just written. Very important part of a character.
Do you see anyone else doing vocal RPs on a regular basis? If that happened, how do you think it would affect the fed?
Christ, I hope not. There are very, very, very few people who can do a vocal RP and have it be anywhere near the quality of a written RP. I'd rather read an RP than listen to one any day. Factor in things like mic quality and just general talent and you have a recipe for disaster. right now, the vocal RPs you do are interesting because they're unique and you're actually good at voices, but no one else should do them, because no one's any good. It helps you actually sound like the characters, though the religious preacherman needs a bit of work to get more Southern American.
As for how it would affect the fed, on one hand it'd at least get people to be somewhat more creative, but on the other the quality overall would drop. WZCW doesn't need the help. Hi-yo. That was a joke.
