Q&A With Creative

Who'll be the holding all the championships, this time next year?

Well then, if you had to pick them... All going to your plan.

I plan by every cycle, I wouldn't like to plan that far ahead. What if I suddenly had to go off to New Zealand find out I had a long lost son?

Seriously, I couldn't think that far ahead, all I have in mind is stuff for KC and potential stuff for Redemption to follow.

Cool beans, I know that is a hard question to answer.

Screw Phoenix, I'm gonna answer this bitch. These are my predictions, keeping in mind that I have not yet been told the post LL plans.

By this time next year, I believe that Everest and Showtime will have left. Big Dave and Ty will be in the Everest-veteran role, main eventing occasionally, but not really holding the world title.

The World title picture will, I believe, be dominated by Gordito, with Barbosa, Constantine (If you're still around :p) and Reynolds being the challengers. Kravinoff may or may not be part of this group, depending on whether or not he keeps doing the tag team thing.

There will be a group of upper-midcarders who are knocking on the main event door, including myself, Kurtesy, Baez and one or two new, talented guys who have yet to enter the fed.

Beckford will stay in the EurAsian title picture as a quite dominant forcee. Although, I do think he will have a back-and-forth feud with Phoenix for a lot of the year. I believe Steven Holmes will be in the mix as well.

On the Elite X side, I see Hammond, Wasabi Toyota as the main challengers against a dominant champion in Michael Winters who will be the breakout of 2011. Baller will win this title too at some point.

The Mayhem plays up to it's title, no one can know who'll be holding the Mayhem title. Some new guy.

Relative to other times in the fed that you can recall off the top of your head, how do you rate the strength of the current roster? When do you believe the fed's roster was the strongest?

I think the roster's strength is definitely above most of the average times. I could certainly put the roster's strength being ahead of around Redemption/Apocalypse time last year as key people left, changes had to made constantly and the Tag Division suffered a lot. I would say that I would put it near to how it was with Kingdom Come, that was a high strong point of the roster last year when you had people like Vengeance, Titus, Rush and Corey Payne around. But given some of the people who were there that have grown since that, I would say that it has improved and the fact you have newcomers going up to the World Title scene adding to it, making this one of the better periods for roster strength.

Though I do miss having Carmen Bratchny around.

I'm a little late, but that's alright... Are there any new guys on the current roster that you think can become main-stays of WZCW and consistent main eventers?

Bit like with the previous question, it's hard to say for some people because you never know what things throw out. Before Unscripted, I didn't expect Gordito to perform like he did and thus had two World Title shots in a short period. As said earlier, I think Winters and Smith are definitely people with good potential to go further despite not being around for so long. Problem is everyone works at different paces, DK Wilton might do what Baller did and mature during the year. It's hard to guess too much when it's down to the individual.

But I think Smith and Winters are definitely two potential up and comers for certain, there are others naturally, but these two have done well so far.

Here's a question, is there any reason why I was facing off against very strong competitors in my first shows here? (I personally loved it)

I can't be personally sure for the reason as I have more than likely forgotten as it was a while ago. But given you were suspended for behaviour when you first came here, I'd probably would have put it down to your behaviour there too. As said, it was a while ago and I really can't remember and I don't encourage bad behaviour to get bigger guys, it means you're likely to suffer from it.

Out of all the characters who have left the fed since you have been on creative which one character would you like back to feud with Big Dave?

With the roster being quite firm and consistent, will there be a time when other aspects of The 'Z will have to be shaken up? Such as PPV's, match concepts, show concepts and such. And how do you make those decisions or look for ideas?

What are your honest thoughts on the Crashin Movement?

I think given the circumstances, they've done pretty well. They at least made better threats against the fed than the rWo did, think the only thing that went against you was not winning the Mayhem belt, but you did one better the next month.

First of all, everyone should go back and read some of the good stuff in this thread.

Now that that's out of the way, the roster seems crowded right now. With seven matches on one of the shows this week instead of six, as well as two triple threat matches, two tag matches, and a four way, am I correct in assuming that the WZCW locker room is packed right now? With three more prospective WZCW Superstars showing for the house show this week, it's certainly not shrinking. How does creative feel about the issue? Is it possible we'll be seeing fewer singles matches over the next while that the roster is this packed? Or will there be more matches in general to accommodate everyone? Am I just seeing things that aren't there?
