I like how you don't post their match at Halloween Havoc where Hansen beats him CLEAN! Clean Lariat. 1-2-3. Spivey threw shit into the ring, but Hansen didn't use it. Ended a long reign for Luger's US Title, too.

And Luger beat Hansen clean. What's your point? Since when has winning the first match been more important than winning the last?

We all know the semantics in that. Hansen was on barter from Japan. If he had a long run in the WCW, he would have kept the belt for a while longer. Instead, WCW didn't want someone who's not full time WCW to have their belt for a long time. But...as we all know. Luger had a ref's help to win Starrcade and NEVER got Hansen in the Torture Rack.

And, how did Luger have a ref's help? He hit the turnbuckle/post like he was supposed to. It was a clean win, and it was a great job of refereeing to see it.
