Nah, hatched a Magby before but it was normal. My friend has a Wynaut shiny though.

I hatched 5 fucking Magbys. No shiny.

Stacking stardust, though. Up to 1.1 mil.

Is that the reward for completing all the special research tasks? If evolving a Magikarp and catching a Ditto are on it it's going to be a long time before I get my Mew. Also shiny or normal?

Being somewhere that has grass and trees has helped immeasurably the last few weeks. Up to 311 caught. It’s going to take me a million years to get Mew, but I did all the field research and got moltres so pretty happy
