i dont think cena is as bad as people say. i dont like his street style, because it kind of takes it away from the actual moves and makes it into a fight. he is pretty good on the mic which i think is why he has gotten such a big push. i dont blame people for booing him for his gimmick, but to say he is a terrible wrestler is over doing it.

thats great news. now that jackass Jbl cant say that hes that best ever because he has the belt for a year. I thought cena probablly had to go another 2 or 3 months before he past the title run time. and now one of the other things that Jbl should lose is that " iam the wreslting god " shit and (when/if) he comes back to any show and that would be great.

Cena could be the next rock or austin if the wwe doesnt stop missing him up. I read some where that he might turn heel at ons 2 or right after ons 2.

Trance Metaphor your part right about eddie and the second chance at the title. the part you didnt put or did not remember is that before eddie got the title and while eddie had the title he was burned out and many people were saying that he needed sometime off so he could recuperate but until he died he never asked for time off or wasnt given any time off. if he had gotten some time off after he lost the belt, he could of been off for a while and then returned after a couple months and then he could of gotten another title shot which was rumored to happen before he died. he could of probablly been alive today! Cena is not that bad a wrestler. If you look at some of his earlier stuff, before he bacme the badass rapper, he was pretty versatile in the ring. He does the moves he does because he is told to do them. He does all the things he does because he is told to do them. Fluff, you are being incredibly naive if you think that he is where he is because he tells the Creative team what they should do with him. HHH does that, Cena does not. Cena does so much hard work, and sells so much merchandise for the WWE that they can't not have him at the very top level. Cena got over in the same way that Austin got over, by being a rebel, disrespecting everyone and not caring what people thought of him,. Now his character has been turned into a brownnosing suck up. Instead of dissing anyone who get's in his face (ie, HHH) He's telling him he respects him and what he's done. The guy has been told to change.

Not at all, i def. would love to see that. And up there, Exoskeltion, HHH does that, and that may just be why he is the 10 time world champion & KING OF KINGS. He actually has a marketing gimmic, as well as a kickass song by Motorhead. And I've stated this i don't know how many times in this thread, but if people could actually comprehend my posts, they would see that I have said Cena needs to be heel. I think Cena isn't bad. He really is tough as hell and had endured a lot to defend his title, and for that I commend him for. But really the only reason he’s had the title for so long is because the WWE wants to make money. They are setting him up to be the next Stone Cold or Rock so they put the title on him so they could sell merchandise and make money off of his gimmick. We all know Cena isn’t half the man that the Rock or Stone Cold is, but if he makes the money like they either of them did, the WWE cares less what the fans really think of him

I respect cena, but he is not Stone cold or the Rock. Stars like Stone Cold and The Rock don't come along often, And can't be made like the WWE is trying to do. Cena has the chance to but WWE is rushing him into the top spot and might ruin the chance of Cena ever reaching that capability by forcing him down our throats. When the first time we seen Austin, we knew He would become a star, and the same with the Rock, but they still went through grooming periods with the WWE and other wrestling company's. Cena's missing alot of that grooming. I think it will be interesting to see If Cena can make it as big as Stone Cold or The Rock, or if He'll flop like we've seen so many before him do.

John Cena is TOO overrated. That's all, he's not a bad wrestler but he has the worse gimmik ever, the guy doesn't even look like he's had a gun in front of him in his life, screw that, honestly he needs a new aproach and he needs a new storyline that doesn't involve the WWE championship. Hopefully this whole anti-ECW crap will turn him towards and angle preety far from the title.

I think people dislike Cena because he's set up as some hybrid of Austin and the Rock with his gimmic, but he winds up commings off as the poor man's version of both. I like his intro music, but truthfully I'm not sure how well the whole gangster gimmic works for him considering the guy's clean cut enough that he looks like he has more in common with the spirit squad than Dr. Dre.

Cena also needs more moves. At one night stand the fans were chanting "same old shit" and truth be told its pretty accurate. Wrestling matches get pretty repetitive especially the main event if you can guarantee that Cena's part in them will consist mostly of a bunch of punches, a body slam, a suplex and an STFU. Not everyone is going to have as many moves as Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit, but it seems like Cena is either being scripted as having or simply devises his matches to include the same moves over and over again. They need to change it up a bit.

His mic skills are above average, Cena can give a decent interview and talk to the crowd. Credit to him for that, he's not in The Rock's league but he can talk. I think like most other things its simply a matter of talents being "pretty good" but getting pushed like he was 9 kinds of amazing.

I also think the fact he's held the belt so long, had caused people to be bored for some of the above reasons, and that the fact he's been champion so long has overexposed him to the point he's like a song you heard on the radio that you didn't mind the first three or four times. But now you've heard it thirty times and you simply hate the song, the singer and everything to do with it because its become some kind of chinese torture. I figure if the belt gets put onto Edge for 4 monthes or so this time around, everyone will calm down.

1: He "Neva backs down, he neva quits" Story is getting old. Anyone know where "Westnewberry, MA" is, its a nice place, no crime or street thugs that he claims to be.

2: He held the WWE title from April to January, droped it for 2 weeks to Edge, then, like the belt hog he is, got it back from late January to now (early June)

3: At Mania, he put on the worst show I've ever seen. His entrance was gay as fuck (Mr. Benjamin is more than likely a "Chain gang member'', so look to him to deny that point) and he punched Trips like a thousand times, did that gay slam that i call the "Cena slam", then does the worst rendition of the STF i have ever seen. The name is even gay being it is the STFU. Which is what i would love to say to Cena's face if i ever saw him.

4: He has horrible mic skills, and looks like a fucking ****** when he gets his hair cut, practically bald on the back and sides and very little on the top, wtf kind of hair style is that?

5: He has everyone thinkin he is a good wrestler just cause he holds the title, need i remind you, Rey gay holds the WHC and he sucks just as bad as Cena.

Um...I don't see why people are talking about guns when they talk about Cena. Have you heard any of his raps? As far as I know, he doesn't talk about guns. I think this is a big part of why people hate Cena. You guys don't get the gimmic. A guy who wears throwback jerseys and a chain around his neck can be a thug. Thugs, in the hip-hop/gangsta rap sense, are persons who are ruthless and who will do whatever it takes to get what they want. Um...and the whole "he doesn't 'LOOK' the part" thing is silly. C'mon...you're killing me. If K-kwik did this, would you like it? Oh yeah...I said if K-Kwik won the title, Vince would riot.
The Rock? The rock had two freakin moves until he turned into Megaman. Then every person he beat, he would "steal" a move. Just imagine my nausea when I saw Rock vs Goldberg! The crowd was actually booing the Rock.
Same old ....um...stuff? If you hadn't noticed, the almighty RVD(when he was in WWE) did the same old "ish" too. In fact, there aren't many superstars in the WWE who don't do the same old "ish". I don't want to be called a WWE mark or ECW hater because I am neither, but it is easy(especially in the case of RVD) to appease "some people" with a lot of spots. The bottom line is this...Cena is great on the mic and ok in the ring. If he didn't have the belt, it would be on HHH or (god forbid) Edge. Wait until Umaga gets a shot. You guys will be begging for Cena. I like AAE. He's cool.
