There's a really obvious answer to that, if anyone is pathetic enough to win an argument on semantics...
Anyway, I said yesterday that I wasn't exactly celebrating, or even comfortable with that idea, though I felt justice has been done. Following on from that, though they are completely misguided, I can understand where the people saying there should have been an attempt to take him alive or that he's now insignificant etc. are coming from, but I do think they are oversimplifying this to the extreme.
What I cannot even begin to understand are the seemingly increasing number of people defending Bin Laden, and somehow portraying his death as being as violent and unnecessary as the September 11th attacks that he orchestrated. We're talking about a man responsible for spreading hate, killing people, and perhaps the worst thing of all, coercing young people to give up their lives doing his dirty work for him. If the accounts of his death are true, the man remained a coward to the bitter end, hiding behind his presumably unarmed wife as he fought to the death. Bin Laden lived by the sword, and he died by the sword. Actually, he lived by other people's swords, some of them as young as 14, 15, warping their minds and promising them gifts in the afterlife. If you want to try and speak up for a man like that, power to you, but you're a fucking ******.

No word on when the White House plans to release the first image. However, a senior U.S. official tells CNN that there were three sets of pictures taken:
Photos of the raid where Osama bin Laden was killed.
Photos of bin Laden's body taken after the raid.
Photos of the late terrorist's burial at sea.
Why not show proof you can that Osama bin Laden is really dead? Because the photo that most clearly shows his face is also the most graphic taken of him.
Due to the massive head wound across his face, officials do not believe it is suitable to run in the media, however it's the image that's undeniably bin Laden.
No word when and if that particular image will be released, but the "Osama bin Laden death photo" circulating online today is NOT real. It's a hoax, people.

As you can see, someone who really needs to get out more took a photo of some other mangled corpse and superimposed bin Laden's face onto it. Sick.

Those weren't the officially released photos. Someone on the internet photoshopped those and started spreading them around. Don't be an idiot.
