I'm ecstatic that it has lasted this long.

They were aiming for Adam Dunn, but unfortunately I doubt it will happen. Jackson can be a decent fall back in the rotation if he returns to his 2009 form when he was with the Tigers.
An extra bat would be great, but it isn't 100% essential in my mind. If they could land a Dunn or another left handed bat who is smart, more power to them, but I like what they have right now.
.5 game up. But those damn Twinkies will never go away.
Yeah, I'm surprised the Sox didn't go and pull out all the stops for Dunn. Apparently the Nats wanted more once you guys got Jackson. I'm surprised they didn't do it.
And I think I also heard at one point you guys were looking at Berkman, but he refused to go, and he ultimately came to New Yawk.
So far in Chicago I've been yelling "DAVID!" at every person with a wrestling shirt on. No luck
I was unaware the Nats wanted someone of Beckham's caliber in said deal. I figured it was a minor league esque guy.Nats wanted Gordon Beckham in the deal. You are out of your fucking mind if you are going to trade the future of your franchise for someone who may not stay.
