For sure. I'm trying to figure out if I should play NHL '10, or watch a movie. Oh wait, I can watch the Hawks and The Incredible Hulk tonight. WIN!
And there comes my issue of being particular again. If I didn't care what I was downloading/listened to, I'd likely be up there as well. But I listen to mostly one genre, and very specific with the artists in that genre I listen to. Seriously I went through 800 torrent entries today, and when it started to look like this:Ahh yeah, my old computer died last summer and I'm still nowhere near the small collection I had. I do have a friend who has a terabyte of music though.
Nah, none taken. I definitely get being particular with your music. I'm just glad my particular music is on the two stations I intern at.But 17 stations have been sold to basically a mom and pop company, which is awesome, for 505 mil. AAAND! The Loop is back to Classic Rock. Fuck yes.
Niiiiice. I was so amped for the Rumble, and it all kinda crashed down. Not sure why.
The Stars are surprising the hell out of me this year, I was certain that they would be shit again, but they're making a run and I love it. The Wild....eh they'll get there one day. They're a few points out of 8th place right now though.

I gave up.
That is awesome. I can't stand this Clear Channel bullshit buying up every station. It's actually one of the major killers for any new music because they are major proponents of record labels paying to ensure only their artists are featured during specific time slots. Maybe the mom and pop company will change that.
Otherwise I love 96.5 the Fox here in ND. Classic Rock station that plays the good shit. The two or three stations that play current music are fucking horrible. 101.5 isn't too bad either but that's usually softer classic rock.
Do u think it has to do with it being 40 peeps in the Rumble? Or just one of those great Unsolved Mysteries? If its the latter..I will get Dennis Farina on it...u know he hosts that now...real late night on Lifetime..![]()
YOU KNOW ABOUT THE CLEAR CHANNEL *****?!?!?! Why have we not discussed this before?!
Personally I love Emmis. Just a great environment. Bonneville just sold those stations to Hubbard, so we shall see what happens. Hey check out wlup.com and tell me what you think of the site and shit as a whole. Can also stream the station as well.
Dude I've known about Clear Channel for years. I used to be in the punk rock scene man, everyone hated Clear Channel and I don't think we even had a Clear Channel radio station in ND at the time. They were basically the anti thesis to what the punk scene believed in, DIY, underground, independent, etc. It's something I brought with me when I found my love for hip hop again. It's why I support the independent hip hop scene, and it relates back to punk rock.
Site looks pretty dope, straight forward, and one of the first songs on the list is The Doors - Hello, I Love You so it gets an automatic hell fucking yes from me.
