I have a feeling that the Simpsons is going to end up winning, but I gave my vote to Three's Company because it doesn't suffer from the several seasons of quality going downhill that The Simpsons has had for almost a decade. Unfortuntely though, The Simpsons are probably going to win. The Flintstones is lucky to have made it to this round and it is going to get destroyed lol.... Three's Company is the best show out of these three and it deserves to be the winner of the old-school division because it IS the best old-school sitcom. Nothing from the 70's has entertained me as much as it has.

I am going for The Simpsons. I am basically doing this for one reason and that is that The Simpsons is the show that I got most viewing pleasure from. Where as I watched The Flintstones and Three's Company at a younger age, The Simpsons still remains relevant to me and it is not something that I mind tuning in to watch. Even now, as it seems to have declined in fanbase and content material, it is still one of the best shows on TV and it has given such a great influence to a lot of the shows that I love now. I don't think that Family Guy, American Dad or South Park would be around or have as much acclaim as they do if it wasn't for the Simpsons. That might not be such a big draw for people but it is for me and I will be voting for The Simpsons on that basis.

Ok, I've went on a rampage the last couple of threads. Now I admit. Three's Company needs to bow out. Respectfully of course. It's now against The Simpsons. The biggest television show of all time. 20 years and counting. Cultural phenomenon. There's no reason why The Simpsons shouldnt win this tourny. Although I have a feeling Married With Children will give it a run.

I love Three's Company. Nore than I love life itself. But my vote goes for The Simpsons. As should everyone elses.

I think Simpsons is going to win this, but threes company was great as well. However I'm voting the FLintstones, I forgot how good this was until a few weeks ago when CartoonNetwork had a few episodes on and I laughed quite a lot during the episode.

The Flintstones is the modern-day Honeymooners, in cartoon format. It was a brilliant show with funny characters and cutting edge cartoon graphics that were very ahead of their own time.

Granted, the Simpsons pisses on the show in terms of comedy quality, but the Flintstones is just a classic cartoon that I just plain enjoyed more. And that's all that should count here. I have to vote for the Flintstones.

I voted Three's Company, despite the fact that it's going to bow out to The Simpsons. I am a Simpsons fan. Huge fan. But I'm a HUGER fan of Three's Company. This show made sexual innuendo and physical comedy relevant in a time where shows were struggling. The late 70's seen the end of shows like Happy Days, All in the Family, and other classic shows. Three's Company was a highly rated show that went through more cast members than any show I can recall during it's tenure.

Think about this. The show had a run of approx 7 years. THREE different women came through as Janet and Jack's roommate. Chrissy, played by Suzanne Somers; Cindy, played by Jenillee Harrison; and Terri, played by Priscilla Barnes. Despite those three girls not being as good as Jack or Janet, the show thrived. It also had The Ropers and Mr. Furley, played by Don Knotts, who is a classic comedian.

I'll vote Three's Company here. And for the record... it's sad that shows like Seinfeld, Cheers, How I Met Your Mother, and Family Ties bowed earlier than they should.
