Oh, to be a kid again

The Internet killed and resurrected wrestling at the same time. Even though as of recent events with the whole CM Punk angle, the Internet has proven useful, overall, I feel that the Internet has had WAY MORE negative effects on the business than positive. One thing I can guarantee is that television ratings and ppv buys have taken a huge hit due to the existence of the Internet. With it, there's no necessity to have to watch the programming because he have dirt sites, live play-by-play coverage, instant results, illegal streaming, etc. Without all this, the viewer would be forced to watch the TV shows in order to stay current with the product.

Though I'm as guilty as anyone else here, I do sometimes wish we could all experience wrestling as it was 20+ years ago...with the backstage curtain CLOSED.
