Hmm, things easily have taken a turn after the WWE swerved us with No Way Out. We're where we were back at the end of Night of Champions last year, no champion on Raw and only one way to resolve that problem.
Randy Orton vs. ??? Raw's one last hope at a world champion is decide here. As he is the Rumble winner, I'm guessing his choice is going to have the ramification on which champion moves to Raw. I hihgly, Highly doubt that the WWE is going to go heel vs. heel at Mania, since it's never happened and would make no sense whatsoever.
Randy Orton vs. Triple H (WWE Championship) The protical son returns home to Raw to save us all from the evil Randy Orton. Storyline wise, it makes the most sense. Orton is targetting McMahons, Triple H is married to a McMahon. If you children pay attention, this is the exact same plan that the WWE had for Kennedy during the McBastard storyline, minus the fact that Kennedy completely sucks and couldn't get the needle out of his ass long enough. It's a good story, and now they have a stronger, more believable character to play the heel role. The defining moment is this, Will Triple H's Ego allow him to give up his shining moment at the Silver anniversary of Mania, or will he do the righ thing finally and put over Orton cleanly at Mania and hand the torch to the next generation of Stars.
Now there are a few scenarios the WWE could do for the other title match.
Who would Edge face? Jeff Hardy has a clean victory over edge in the chamber match, so obviously hardy has a claim, but would the WWE give the Brother vs. Brother matchup and potentially keep John Cena out of a title match? Who knows. The Smart money says it's John Cena vs. Edge, but I can't honestly see the WWE moving Cena to Smackdown.
The next lineup would be, Shawn Michaels, the Texas Kid, vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in Houston. Title vs. Career would be a good move on this one, and a match I would lvoe to see. Either way Edge vs. Cena or Michaels would work for me.
Which brings me to Undertaker vs. ???. It's down to two logical options at this point. Anything other then Taker vs. Michaels or Taker vs. John Cena would be an aggregious mistake by the WWE and one that will leave me scratching my head for years. Michaels vs. Taker would be amazing for obvious reasons that I have spouted out time and time again in this thread alone, while Cena vs. Undertaker adds a completely new dimension to the Streak on the Line storyline. Both men are credible and Strong enough to make people believe the streak is in severe jeopardy, and I would be satisfied with either match happening.
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy. While the smarkish side of me would love to see something along the lines of ECMJ all in a four way TLC match, my head isn't stuck up my ass and I can see things without smarkcovered lenses on. The Hardy vs. Hardy match would be a perfect match to set the tone of the night and be the show opener, (ala Hart vs. Hart) or it could be the perfect match that goes in between the title matches.
Jericho vs. ???. I'm still saying that Mickey Rourke happens, but if not, we'll be stuck with Ric Flair which would just be awful. There's always the possibility that We'll get Michaels come in to represent the old timers, but that would be a waste of time in my opinion.
Of course you'll have the mandatory bathroom break with some awful Diva match. If it doesn't have Beth Phoenix, I truly don't give a shit.
Money In the Bank. While I'm not going to list off a whose who of spot monkeys dying to be the next WWE champion, I will say one thing. John Morrison or MVP were the two strong picks to win this thing, but after his performance at No Way Out, don't be surprised to see Rey Mysterio throw a huge wrench into those plans.
