But moulding the RAW and SD! storylines together is a good call...

It's not a bad thing. They are cementing a Taker vs HBK storyline.

I was going to watch TNA from now. BUT this has now got a little bit more interesting.

They will let Batista fight someone silly at wrestlemania instead.

They will ultimately end up having a weird stipulation match at wrestlemania possibly where.

Possibility 1.

HBK vs Taker vs Cena vs Batista - The winner if it's Batista or Cena would take away both titles. If HBK pins Batista. He becomes SD's Champ. If Taker Pins Cena he becomes Raw's champ.

Conclusion:

Expect HBK or Taker to pin Cena. Batista is not getting pinned at wrestlemania, And because of fan reaction i can see the wwe going down the road of HBK vs Taker at some point.

Possibility 2.

Taker vs Cena or Batista - Cena/Batista would then be the man who ends Takers unbeaten streak

Conclusion:

I believe they are going to protect his legacy and not let Taker lose as such but just not let him win either. So I'm personally expecting a Fatal Four Way style of match.

I'm looking forward to the main event because I think Batista will turn heel. I love it when a top star turn's. Even if it's somebody as talentless as Batista.

I'm also intrested in seeing Finlay/Boogeyman. I wonder if Finlay could drag anything out of him. I see Boogeyman winning though.

I hope Deuce & Domino dont defeat L & K for the tag title's. They might be a bit bland but nobody can question how good London and Kendrick are.

Booker/Kane will be awful.

Matt Hardy/Joey Mercury could steal the show.

Ashley/Jillian. On the one hand Jillian is perfecty capable in the ring. On the other Ashley is fuckin' useless.

I'm curious to see what Benoit, Kennedy and M.V.P. will do on the show. Maybe a triple threat U.S. Tile match. If that happen's I hope M.V.P. win's. Benoit deserve's a higher placing on the card and it would be a step down for Kennedy.

In the daily soap opera of "As Wrestlemania 23 Changes," the new discussion appears to be Cena vs. Undertaker, Batista vs. HBK, Lashley vs. Holly, and Edge vs. Orton, according to Pro Wrestling Insider. Of course, this is far from official, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the talked about card changing several times in the coming weeks.

if they plan on doing this, then the tag match at NWO is a decent way to set it up, though I don't understand how HBK could challenge Batista for his title at WM, I'd rather they keep the brands the way they are, with it being Cena vs. HBK (and then throw in Orton and Edge and make it a fatle 4-way elimination match), then have the SD! main event be Batista vs. Taker, and have Taker win it

I don't like the idea of a tag match being the main event for NWO, I tink the idea sucks, if I was booking the PPV I would have it be Batista vs. Kennedy, HBK vs. Taker in a contenders match with Cena as a special ring enforcer on the outside, then the rest of the card would be
-Kane vs. Booker
-Finley vs. Boogyman
-Hardy vs. Merceury
-Jillian vs. Ashley(bra and Panties match)
-Benoit vs. MVP(U.S. title)
-Kendrick and London vs. Deuce and Domino

I wonder if WWE is going to make a special stipulation for the Tag Team Main Event. Make it where the winning team gets to Main Event WrestleMania 23.

I don't really want to see this as the Main Event for NWO either, but it would make things interesting if the Main Event Spot was on the line. Of course if they did put it on the line, then Taker and Batista should win.

WWE.com reports a rematch from Armageddon. Hardyz vs. MNM vs. Blue Bloods vs. Hooligans. My thoughts:

What about D & D? Wow. This came out of the blew. Why do they keep reuniting MNM and Hardy Boys? Also are they sure it's safe to put Joey Mercury into another ladder match after what happened last time. From my point of view I doubt Mercury will get much involved. My prediction is the Hooligans retain and eventually loose the title to D & D. Hardy's wont win because he is the intercontinental title. So if he wins he will have to go back between RAW & SD! making his traveling harder. MNM won't win it because Nitro is current under going a push. Dave Taylor and Regal won't win because Taylor is scared of ladders and we haven't seen them in a while.

Why is that Ladder match taking place? It does'nt make sence. It's been built up that London & Kendrick will face Deuce & Domino and Matt Hardy vs. Joey Mercury. I know the original match was good but it does'nt mean lightning will strike twice. Regal & Taylor are completley out of place as well. Would'nt it be better to have the younger Deuce and Domino involved. In the spoiler's there's also been a change to the women's match which also make's zero sence.

Benoit Vs Finley (US Title) Finley deserves much better than a feud w Boogeyman.

Hardcore Fatal 4 way for Tag Titles. Save the ladder match for Wrestlemania.
and this will better suit Regal\Taylor style.

Kane Vs King Boooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.w Queen Sharmell.

Kennedy Vs C.M Punk. I know he's on Ecw but I think they could have a good match, and Punk should be on Smackdown.

Well Well its that time of year again we have the biggest PPV before WRESTLEMANIA... and i have to admit its not shapening up to well. As we look at the card it is basically just promoating WRESTLEMAINA...Anyhew on to the matches so far the main event being the big tag team match of Batista/Taker vs HBK/Cena i agree that this bug time tag match shoudl determine what maCth will headline WRESTLEMANIA 23, but we all know how Austin is set to make a return why not have him be the special guest ref for the match i mean nice way to bring austin back....and the tag team match please saw it once dun need it again and well the rest so far looks grim and sad thing is benoit, kennedy, and MVP are egtting shunned at the moment as like creative dun have any plans for them.

I totally agree with you as kennedy had this big push and now what will he jut be de-pushed or what? It be sad as a Benoit vs Kennedy match would need a biger leadup and maybe even involve MVPin some way in a possible 3-way match..but ya if they did Benoit vs Kennedy for the US belt that should be the main event

Don't you all think it is sad how Creative feels the last two smackdown PPVs need gusy from RAW to compete at the PPV so it have a bigger buy rate?

WWE.com is reporting that the scheduled Four Way Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles at No Way Out featuring Paul London & Brian Kendrick defending against The Hardys, MNM and William Regal & Dave Taylor (which was a rematch from the Armageddon PPV) has now been pulled.

Instead of that match taking place, Paul London & Brian Kendrick will now defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against the new #1 contenders Deuce & Domino. According to the storyline, the tag team felt they deserved a shot at the tag titles after defeating London & Kendrick for the last two weeks on Smackdown.

Here is how the card for No Way Out looks like this Sunday:

- WWE Champion John Cena & Shawn Michaels vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista & The Undertaker.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c's) vs. Deuce & Domino.

- Kane vs. King Booker.

- Finlay vs. The Boogeyman.

- Diva Talent Invitational.

The ladder match should'nt have been made in the first place. But they should'nt just pull it. Maybe they could have had Deuce and Domino beat up Regal & Taylor before the match and have there spot.

I think this mean's there will be a M.I.T.B. at Wrestle Mania.

McMahon wants to keep Jeff Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Matt Hardy and Joey Mercury in singles roles on their respective brands right now and putting them together as a tag team off and on isn't something they would like to continue. Well, we say this now as they could change their mind at any moment seeing how quickly this one was made over the weekend.

It should also be noted that another reason for making the decision was that the feeling internally was that having a Four Way Ladder Match for the tag titles was meaningless, so they decided to put the new Deuce & Domino tag team in the spotlight to challenge Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the titles this Sunday at No Way Out instead. Again, WWE may still put The Hardys and MNM back together in the coming weeks or months, but as of now that is the plan they are going with."


So I guess Vince wants to push D&D and not team Hardys/MNM... so why not at least make D&D vs Londrick some sort of gimmick match... we were led to believe that we were going to have an awesome repeat of the Armageddon match... but now we're given a tag match which does not interest me in the slightest. WWE just lost at least one PPV buy (even if it is free in the UK)

I agree that they could be saving the ladder match for Mania... but then why announce the NWO one if they knew that they were going to have one at Mania, you know... the annual MITB? It's not like they suddenly announced the match and then thought "Oh, Wrestlemania is right around the corner, so we'd better cancel the ladder match at No Way Out" Although it is WWE we're talking about. It pisses me off that they've announced it though... and then cancelled it... Vince should really think things through before he announces them to his audience, so that he doesn't have to cancel them and replace them for something nowhere near as good.

I can see why it's being saved for Mania because they don't want people to look back at the NWO one and think that it was better than their prestigious MITB... but it all just seems a little bit stupid. What's wrong with 2 ladder matches in the space of a month? I wouldn't complain.

However according to that bit of news above... it wasn't the main reason.

The whole purpose of No Way Out is to build to Mania. So far it look's like the only match's being built are for the main event. It's less than a week before the card and three of the biggest star's are without a match. Kennedy, Benoit and M.V.P. It's ok for Kennedy to not have a match because he's been procupied with Batista. But Benoit and M.V.P. have'nt really been busy.
