Well tonight my predication on who would win the RAW MITB Ladder match came true as The Miz snuck out a victory out from under Randy Orton's nose which may be the next feud Miz goes through. All I know is i'm ecstatic over this. The Miz has become one of my favorite superstars as of late and this victory is the next step in his quest of moving up the card.

So this thread is to discuss Miz's MITB win. All discussion about this will remain in here. Some of the questions you can ask about this win of Miz's is where will he go from here? Will he successfully cash in his briefcase? Or is this truly the begnning of a feud between him and Randy Orton? All questions and answers, and even speculation can be discussed in this thread.

Moderator's note - This thread is in place to ensure that all talk about The Miz's recent win at Money In The Bank is kept in the one place. Please respect this thought and do not create other threads that have the same purpose. Failure to do so will result in that thread being merged or deleted and action taken on the poster for posting duplicate topics.

Hopefully he keeps it until Mania. I don't want this to be rushed since this is a pretty much guarantee that he is becoming a future WWE champion.

Have it be much like Stone Colds rise in 97. People saw it coming a mile away but it slowly built (due to his neck injury), but it all flourished on the grandest stage of them all.

I think it's hilarious that since he split with JoMo,he's been on a rocketship to paradise will Morrison Janetty is beating his bishop over at the Palace of Wisdom :lmao: I want to say he's gonna cash it in heel style, but something's telling me he's gonna schedule a match,or wait till everyone forgets that he has that case.Something big is gonna happen for Miz though, believe that.

I thought for sure that Orton was gonna get it, then bam, The Miz wins it. That's cool, didn't expect it, but it's cool it was The Miz. I just hope they don't rush it with him, that they play this out a while. I think The Miz will be champ, but of course he needs to drop the U.S. Title first.

Very surprising finish to that match. I thought Orton and Bourne for that matter had the match finished, but Miz managed to steal the victory and I love it. Miz has improved greatly since his debut, when he first came to the WWE I fucking hated him, but now he is becoming a big star and I have to eat my words. I am actually enjoying his work now a days, doesn't hurt that his entrance song is by Downstait. The finish to the match was great, with Miz coming out of nowhere to knock Orton off and steal the case. It was just awesome to see and hopefully it leads to a title reign in Miz's future.

Well you had to figure that as over as the Miz is that he would be a favorite to win the match. Once again Bourne has acquitted himself beyond what most of us would have expected. I'm thinking Miz vs. Bourne to drop the US title then Miz vs. Orton with maybe a case defense involved?

This was the most logical choice since the Miz has been on a role lately. Jericho, Edge, and Orton are already established guys. Its too early for Morrison, Rhodes, or Dibiase to win the event, and Mark Henry will never be relevant. I just wonder who the Miz will cash in against. It could be either Sheamus or Cena at the next PPV. I don't think we will see the Miz fight a one on one match. Cena will probably beat Sheamus at Summerslam, then Nexus will come out and attack Cena allowing Miz to cash in and become WWE champion.

Definitely surprised WWE decided to give it to Miz. I love it though. Couldn't have given it to more of a deserving guy. The post match promo was just pure gold too.

I think now what becomes even more interesting is, will he cash it in on Raw this week? Or will he have a 2005 Edge run with it and keep it for months, and slowly tease him cashing it in?

I thought he was gonna cash it in post cage match and lose, but thank god I was wrong. Hopefully he has a nice run with the briefcase and it ends up with him being catapulted into the Raw main event scene and being WWE Champion.

Fuck WWE if Miz is the first guy to lose a MITB cash in.

I would like it to come once people kind of forget, so it is really unexpected, the last two have been too rushed, both within one week. Let the Miz hold it till maybe December, October

here's my perfect scenerio for when the Miz wins the WWE title. First (on this night) he loses his United States Championship (hopefully to either Evan Bourne or a recently re-hired Daniel Bryan at a pay per view). he goes back and you think we wont see him the rest of the night. Then after a hard fought win, Cena somehow re-gains his WWE title, THEN, Miz's music hits, he comes out, hits Cena with the case, then cashes the case in, wins the WWE title. Then a young midcarder wins the US title while Miz becomes a main eventer. As for Miz and Morrison, i always thought both would do well. I dont compare Miz to Shawn Michaels because Michaels is more of a high flyer, Miz is more of a mouth. He's pushed because his mic work is fantastic and his wrestling is only getting better.

Here's my thoughts---and I'm thinking of out the box. But I think it would be badass.

Miz holds the case for a few months and Bryan Danielson comes back in September. The feud has already been lit and can pick up right where it left off. The fued ends in a match at the end of the year PPV for the rights to the Money In The Bank.

Danielson wins and cashed in Money In The Bank at Wrestlemania!!!!

Either that or---when Miz goes to cash in his briefcase whenever it may be---Nexus lays him out and steals the belt. I'm thinking out of the box here, but I think both ideas would have my jaw dropping.

Man, this is great. I am so happy. I let out a big "Yeah!" once he grabbed the briefcase.

At first I was really worried that he wasnt going to win it. I predicted that either Orton or Edge would win. For a while it was looking like my prediction was right and I was not very happy about it. But once he knocked Orton off the ladder, I knew he was going on to become the holder of the briefcase.

I am also really happy that he didnt cash it in Kane style. The Miz is one of the most entertaining guys on the mic today. I can already imagine all of the greatness that is going to come out of his mouth now that he is Mr. Money in the Bank. The Miz was already one of the best parts of RAW. Now he is going to take it to a whole other level.

I hope to God that they don't pit him against Orton and have Orton take the case away a la Edge-Kennedy. The Miz truely deserves his push. This is coming from someone who HATED that fucking guy.
I too hope he hangs onto the case for a while as I believe it'll just add that much more kerosene to his promo fi-ya!
The Miz a reason to watch. Yes, he is fucking awesome!

This prediction is way out in left field but here goes:

I think that on the very next RAW, The Miz should brag about how he's going to become the WWE Champion. Make it seem like he already believes that he is a lock to win it. Then, John Morrison comes out and confronts The Miz. Miz brags to Morrison about how he has enjoyed way more success then Morrison ever since their team broke up. This sparks an on and off feud between Miz and Morrison. Maybe during The Miz's next US Title defense, Morrison interferes and costs Miz the title.
This could be the start of a huge push for Morrison as well as The Miz. Morrison captures the WWE Title and now you've got a long awaited proper feud for The Miz and John Morrison.

I know that this is wayyy off the map but, I don't think it would be a bad idea. The prob is RAW's main event filled roster. By the way, I don't think it would happen as fast as I wrote it out to be. I just think that this should enhance the hatred that Miz and Morrison have for each other.

Everyone knows that I am a massive Miz fan. I literally jumped out of my chair when he shoved Randy off of the ladder and I marked out when he actually won. I always wanted it to happen, bu figured the case would go to either Orton or Bourne going into the match. Their were several moments where I though The Miz was out of it completely.

I would like to see The Miz hold onto the case for a while. Teasing every now and then that he will cash it in, but backs out at the last minute. Sort of what Swagger done, but not right off of the bat. Maybe several months from now he can tease it. I believe the rules state that the contract lasts one year. He could even wait until after Wrestlemania to cash it in.

Whoever he takes it off of it needs to be a major face such as Orton or Cena. Just don't rush through it as they have been doing with the cases lately. Swagger cashed his in about a week after winning it, Kane cashed it in the same night, CM Punk cashed both of his in within several months. I would like to see him hold it for as long as Edge did when he won the first Money In The Bank (10 months) or maybe longer. Make it an actual surprise. Every time someone wins Money In The Bank, the always cash it in on practically the first beat down. Give him some time to brag about it before winning the WWE Championship.

Firstly I love that Miz won and think (with the exception of the divas matches) MITB was a top PPV although the MITB matches weren't as good as WM but what do u expect.

I think Miz should hold onto the breifcase like edge in 2005 in order to build a run up, or I dont think he will be a legit champ. Realistically an you see Miz getting a pin against HHH when he returns or supercena for the title?!? I think he needs to get a couple of wins over the likes of Orton or Edge first

I'm so happy they gave it to Miz. I predicted he would win and he did. He deserved it since he split up with Johnny Jannetty. I even tweeted for some reason. He is the best choice since Edge, Jericho, and Orton could all be in the WWE title picture like that. Right decision by WWE. Thanks Vince (get it? not "Please Vince")

I really don't get the love for the Miz. So he can talk. It takes more than that to be a success. How is he any different than David Otunga? I've actually seen people compare the Miz to HBK or Chris Jericho. Really? The Miz will never have a great match, & he will never steal the show @ Wrestlemania. He is a mid-card talent who has talked his way into the main event, which is fine if all you care about is talking. I honestly wish he would lose the briefcase much like Mr. Kennedy previously, but I know that will not happen. Unfortunately, we are destined to see at least one Miz title reign, & it will be yet another example of just how far Vince's mighty empire has fallen.

I totally marked out hwhen my prediction/hopes of Miz winning came true. However, I regretfully feel like he'll be the first to lose his cashing in.

I doubt this will ever happen, but like RupertPupkin The Miz and Bryan Danielson already have the start to a fued ready, what about when Bryan is able to return to WWE (September 11th I think) have him not go to WWE or TNA. Have him keep him doing what hes doing now. But really have him signed back with WWE. Then have Miz go to cash his briefcase in at the next PPV after September 11th and have Bryan come out of the crowed and cause him to lose his match. This would make The Miz be the first one to lose a MITB title cash in and would set up a huge feud between him and Bryan. Have Miz hold on to the US title so him and Bryan can feud over that.

I know this would never happen because WWE wouldn't let Bryan work for other promotions until the cash in to make the storyline work and if he wasn't working anywhere else everyone would know he had resigned with WWE.

I like The Miz but I don't think he'll win the title. He will brag about it but when he goes to cash it in I think he will become the first person to not successfully win the title with a MITB breifcase. I was shocked when he won i wanted Morrison to win but I knew Morrison probably wouldn't. The PPV was great I thought that every match was great except for Eve vs. Alicia Fox but I liked the other womens match.

David Otunga sounds like Jaleel White. Not Urkel the character, but the actor that plays him.

Anyway, The Miz has become one of the most improved stars of the decade. Not just on the mic, Miz has become a steady and believable heel without having to run away from every challenger and is somewhat remeniscent of Orton with Jericho-esque mic skills.

Seriously I do not know why the WWE is choosing to push The Miz. I really do not see him as having main event status. He is definitely getting alot out of his 15 minutes of fame. The guy was a reality show has been that has some how found his "spot" in the WWE. I do not see him as being capable of carrying this company into the future. He is a great heel but I can't see people paying $40.00-$70.00 a pop to see him be the Champion. The WWE NEEDS to find that special superstar that are going to make the fans continue to watch...whenever The Miz is on, I usually use that to take a snack or bathroom break. He absolutely does nothing to make me want to watch him.

Couple of far-out thoughts here:

What if Miz holds the case until Wrestlemania, gets into the Money In The Bank match, and wins that as well. Then he'd have two chances at the title. If he becomes the first to lose a cash in, he could rub it in by cashing in again and winning, or just keep bragging that he has another shot.

Miz announces a cashes in against Cena, who beats Sheamus at Summerslam, let's say, after a Nexus beat down. It is then revealed that Miz is behind Nexus (they have a lot in common as far as Nexus' M.O. and Miz's career path thus far). Then Nexus could either turn on him and have Barrett use his guaranteed title shot against Miz, or kick Barrett out, or just dominate the roster.

Point is, while these scenarios are obviously long shots, the possibilities are endless, and I for one, am going to enjoy watching how it unfolds every week. Even if Miz ends up without a title as a result of his MITB win, he is going to be a bigger star if for no other reason than he will act like one, and the people will have to accept it because he has the briefcase.

Well,i think its great that the Miz won the MITB for raw.And if he's gonna win the wwe championship, here's what i think may happen.
1.He loses the us title to some1,let it be bourne pls...Then he cashes it on a face champ(cena or hhh) after holding it for some time.
2.He does a swagger like cash in,which i hope doesn't happen.
Either way,he's the Miz and he's awesome!!
