[OFFICIAL] Lucky Cannon / Mark Henry Discussion Thread

He's just way to generic, the smiley goody two shoes i suffered alot baby face....doesn't work for him. he looks like a roided Stevie Richards

He was just the next to go cause the other five could all make a case to be the wwe breakout star...but did anyone notice that when lucky told kaval he was a nine year with the voice of barry white, Kaval flipped him off?

Yes i have never seen low ki act like that hes always been calm and cool and i believe lucky didnt have anything going 4 him other than tweens squeling their lungs out

As Doc said everyone else had something on him, Kaval is awessome in the rign, Husky is very good for his size, Riley is great on the mic, McGillicutty is great on the mic and in the ring as well as being the son of Mr Perfect and Percy is over and has a ton of charisma.

Add to that the fact that Lucky got zero crowd reaction, he was about as bland as they come, he was not good on the mic or in the ring and he isn't part of a famous family  and you have some pretty good reasons to eliminate him.

Well I disagree with you when you say he never got the crowd to react to him. They did, albeit negatively. They've been booing the shit out of him the last several weeks, especially last night. Good lord he was getting a lot of heat during his little goodbye promo, but that's because he sucked, not because he was doing anything heelish.

Man, I am really happy that Lucky Cannon left, he was like the Heath Slater of season 2, he got no face reaction and he was a waste of space in my opinion.

I'm not a fan of this kid, he never seemed to be anything special to me.I think people like Kaval and Riley desever the chance to stay on NXT moe than this guy that made me bored each week. You have guys like Riley who can cut great promo and then this kid.I didn't like the name, why should you need luck in wrestling. It's about working hard and getting the job done, something that this kid never did for me.

Yes i agree totally however one difference between lucky cannon and heath slater heath slater went one to actually do something lucky cannon will most likely fall deep into the shadows never to be heard from again

I hope we never hear of Lucky Cannon again. This guy was boring in every way and can't cut it in WWE. I think he has a good look, but it can only get you so far. My friend actually voted for him and I was really dissappointed with her, he brings nothing to the table. I"m not saying he should quit wrestling for good, but with all the talent WWE has, there's just no place for him. If he does come back somehow, hopefully he's a lot better. Maybe he's realized how awful he is and is using that as motivation in FCW, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I can't help but feel bad for Lucky. He just comes off as a guy I can't help but feel sympathetic for. (Not due to whatever accident he had, because I missed what that was about and am too lazy to look it up) His promo's were terrible and he tried too hard, he got boo-ed whenever he opened his mouth and it was difficult to watch. He got shot down by the crowd and let it get to him.

He should go back to developmental and maybe get an education on being a heel. In a way, it could go along the same lines of The Rock. As a face, he was boo-ed mercilessly, but once he turned heel he found his calling. Not saying Lucky could go as far as The Rock, not nearly, but maybe it would be a stepping stone and logical path to take. He could learn to take the crowds disapproval and work it to his advantage.

Definitely the guy needs a lot of work, but I'm hoping he finds a good mentor that can cut good promo's. At least that would be a chunk of his lack of self-confidence solved. :icon_neutral:
