I always thought Kaval's career was ruined the moment he was paired with LayCool. Kaval has become more entertaining with LayCool. Kaval has gotten over big time with his athletic kicks and the impact of them. In his first match the crowd went from not knowing who was the face and who was the heel(Due to both mens pros being heels) to getting behind Kaval and booing Riley. He has become a standout in NXT with the most unique in-ring work. Kaval has one of the best work ethics in wrestling and his career will continue to rise as long as he doesn't get injured.
LayCool have been better for Kaval than any vignette could have been. They helped Kaval develop a personality. Kaval won't win NXT but then again Kaval doesn't need to win NXT to become a great asset to the WWE. However i can imagine LayCool begging Teddy Long to give Kaval a contract and can probably be very amusing about it.
