Yes, you heard it correctly... Kaval has finally arrived. But what's even more badass is that he's paired with Team Laycool. I'm excited about this because you have a great in-ring wrestler and unique individual in Kaval being paired with the bitchy twins. Not only are the women being pushed on this show as pros, but they are supposed to interact with this martial artist, serious type persona in Kaval while they act like their own, sarcastic selves. The interactions between these three should be very interesting, to say the least.

After seeing who was teamed with Kaval for NXT, I just had to finally join the forum and post. I will find it interesting on how, the most likely crowd favorite of the entire group and the eariler front runner got paired up with Team laycool, The only female "Pros" so far in the seasons of NXT. I just think that most of the time, He will go out, kick the other rookies ass and go back and listen to the two girls say that they are doing such a great job even though it would make it seem like they did nothing.

Kaval is my favorite to win Season 2. However, Bryan was my pick for Season 1, and we all know how that turned out. Pairing him with Lay-Cool is very odd to me, it just doesnt make sense. As the guy above me said, Lay-Cool probably arent going to do anything, just take the credit for Kaval's success. It will be interesting to see if Kaval is challenged more because of his size, but I think he will be fine.

I can't wait to see this trio in action. Kaval is a wrestling GOD, and I knew he was going to LayCool as soon as they said that he had wrestled "all over the world" - isn't his nickname in FCW the "World Warrior"?

But yeah, this is a very interesting pairing. I don't even know what to expect, and that's a good thing. Kaval could be like DB and just try his best to avoid his Pro(s) all season long, or he could end up being a heel type and buddying up with LayCool. Better yet, being their personal body guard. That would be hilolrious. Regardless, this is the second most intriguing pairing of the eight to me. First being Riley/Miz.

I'm just glad that Low Ki is finally back on television again. I don't know why he is paired with Lame Cool but I guess it will provide interesting television. I thought for a minute there seeing Laycool that they would be pros for a diva. I guess not. At least Kaval wasn't paired with someone boring like Henry. This should be entertaining if LayCool's annoying horrible promos don't overshadow him.

What a great decision. This has the potential to be extremely funny and entertaining. Kaval is a serious, get it done in the ring kind of guy, and LayCool are obnoxiously funny together. I think it was a great move by the E to make LayCool pros as they're bringing attention to the women's division (which has been really interesting lately). Kaval can be independent and LayCool can soak up all of Kaval's accomplishments while doing no real work. Good dynamic that should make for some interesting TV.

I can not wait to see this guy wrestle on live television. I never watched him on TNA, but Youtube has showed me what this guy is capable of. He is a step better than Bryan Danielson IMO and will most likely win this whole show. This pairing will be interesting, but I think Kaval will do all the work. Can not wait to see Danielson vs Kaval Part 2, the rematch from FCW.

This should be good. I've never had the chance to see Kaval's (or Low-Ki, if you prefer) ring work so this should be great. I loved his promo tonight. It was short but he immediately became my favorite to win this season's NXT. Something about his voice maybe? All I know is that I think he's a badass.

His interactions with Laycool should be interesting to say the least. Kaval has this serious aura around him and his segments with the more humorous Laycool should be something worth watching.

Skill wise we all know Kaval deserves to win. He has so many classics from ROH and TNA. However teaming him with Lay-cool I see it as a slap in the face to true wrestling fans, almost like the Daniel Bryan name. Hopefully I am proven wrong this season.

I think this is a horrible pairing for Kaval. Like you all touched on Laycool will just take credit for his in ring ability and I personally think they won't do anything to help get him over with crowd. Not that he needs it cause of his work and exposure in TNA, ROH, Japan, and all over the world. Anybody that has seen his work knows he's already got the ring skills, but I don't think Laycool will help him with his mic abilities which to my knowledge I don't think he cut many promos when I watched him wrestle. If anything put him with a Regal, or Jericho, or even Randy Orton and give him that mouth piece he needs. Personally, if Orton was still heel his evil "Viper" gimmick would work great with Kavals wrestling style, and his serious personality. Thanks for letting me share, would love to read the feedback.

One thing that sucks about NXT is the pairings because they taunt you with making people who would match up perfectly as rookie and pro opposites.

Season 1: Bryan and Regal
Same style and Regal trained him

Season 2: Kaval and Jomo
Same high flying style and Morrison could have gotten Kaval to the promo level as him. And who wouldnt want to see Lay-cool mentor a 7 foot killing machine

Morrison getting Kaval to the same promo level? You mean, he'd make Kaval completely suck? Morrison is epic shit on the mic most of the time when he doesn't have The Miz to work with or isn't Braveheart.

You need to stop complaining about everything before it happens. The Bryan/Miz pairing was brilliant and started one of the best storylines in the WWE today. LayCool are humorous wich is a nice contrast to Kaval's seriousness. We can't have all pairings get along with each other; that would get boring.

How is it a slap to the face to us or Kaval? You ARE aware that these pairings are more for entertainment value than anything? I doubt that LayCool are going to legitimately teach Kaval anything. It's an angle, one that has quite a lot of potential. Kaval is considered one of the best in the ring (I haven't seen a lot of his work so I can't judge) and LayCool are very entertaining. Kaval apparently plays a good heel in FCW so I could see him joining forces with them, or turning on them, or just ignoring them and doing his own thing. Lots of possibilities here.

Pro wrestling is first and foremost supposed to be about entertainment. How is creating something with the potential to be very entertaining a slap to the face of anyone involved?

If Season 1 proved anything its that the pairs are used primarily for storyline purposes. Kaval having a unique pairing means he will be getting a lot of camera time, and Smackdown time.

I am hoping Kaval wins, but since he is an established wrestler he may be like Daniel Bryan and not win but still make it to the main roster. I am curious to see how over Kaval will be with the crowd and if they will make any mention to him being an Indy star.

Win or lose If he gets over(like Daniel Bryan) he will be on his way to one of the main shows.

They already mentioned he was an indy star by saying he wrestled all over the world and i dont ever think they will let an indy star win because they have nothing to gain from it except camera time

As of right now LayCool are about the hottest thing stemming from the diva's division and, apart from Maryse, are the only diva's that produce a character week in week out. Kaval is a man that goes to the ring and wrestles his heart out. This is pretty much Bryan/Miz all over again, except you have female talent to create some further storylines. If the Miz can slap Bryan, then people would expect to see Bryan hit Miz back. However, if Michelle or Layla slap Kaval, what can Kaval do? He takes the hit and could think about what they said as legitimate.

In other words, LayCool have the ability to sway Kaval into what he does in the ring. They can turn him into a heel, make him overly frustrated that his in-ring performance gets affected (kayfabe-wise) or even use him as apart of their stable on Friday Nights (can anyone say WWE's version of the Beautiful People?)

There are endless possibilities that rest on the shoulders of Kaval and forces him to change/develop his character because of these two blond girls "mentoring" him. It's a refreshing idea and I'm sure glad that they didn't pick someone who has been on before for Kaval or someone without name recognition. It also gives LayCool more TV time to "entertain" us. It's a win-win situation.

I agree with that, unless they are going to go the opposite route they went with the last contest. Bryan would have won the fan polls every time if they had them in season 1

With the fans voting also it wouldn't surprise me to see Kaval to the finals and maybe screwed out of it by a pro, setting up some sort of feud with a pro.

If you noticed Kaval didn't get a much pop when he was announced the one who got the most praise was Joe Henning. And i don't think anyone will screw Kaval over there are only 2 heel pros Miz and Zack Ryder. Miz is to busy with Daniel Bryan to screw over Kaval and Zack Ryder is a joke just look at the guy. I think LayCool will take praise for his in ring abilities and make him carry their belts. If they want ratings they will let Kaval hit the Warriors Way on those loud mouth hos when he get eliminated

Kaval is my favourite to win the NXT season 2 with Alex Riley coming 2nd and Mike Mcgillicutty (Mr Perfect son, Joe Henning) will come third in my view

Kaval will do a Daniel Bryan (but win this time) I see him working as LAME DROOL bodyguard or something like Wade Barrett did for Chris Jericho. Then I see him betting the sh't out of that Orlando Jordan wannabe and the rest of the Rookies.

(P.S WADE BARRETT WON NXT YES! A guy from Manchester England won a American wrestling competion)

this is a strange pairing it leaves alot of questions such as will kaval have a relationship with layla or michelle ? Will they fight over him ? Or will they make fun of him to the point of him cracking?
I don't know but I know I'm very excited

Simply put....Kaval will be Daniel Bryan of season 2...well thats what I think...look he is paired with..bullshit to me tbh...just like season 1, Miz is no pro...and yet he is a pro again for season 2...but these 2 pairing is definately going to bring drama to NXT...KAVAL to win NXT season 2!!!

When I first found out about this pairing, I thought to myself.. "Is it this obvious that McMahon can not stand Wrestlers that he doesn't have a huge part in helping to create from the beginning, that he has to go out of his way to mock them?" Then I tried to give it more thought and this is what I've come to the decision of..

Kaval is about the worst name any Wrestler could have. What does it even stand for, or mean? Regardless of that, the overall point is.. he couldn't survive with anyone other than the (arguably) two biggest over "Pros" involved in Season 2. Shy of pairing him with Miz, which would be a direct repeat of the Daniel Bryan situation.

I have a feeling McCool and Layla are going to add the best parts to this show, and whether many know it or not - Kaval can actually be amusing. His voice was about the worst thing for me, and adding in McCool and Layla allows him to cut down on speaking to a bare minimum.

Kaval's best ability is what he can do INSIDE the ring. And McCool/Layla are going to help contribute by building him a personality, than none of the other Season II Pros could possibly help him reach.

EDIT: Also, people need to get off this "Kaval is a former TNA/Pro Wrestler, he's gotta win because of that!!" Its that very reason he, and everyone similar to him, (and Danielson) will NEVER win a contest such as this. They're already established names and stars. This is merely a lazy and easy way to re-debut them to the WWE world.

This contest is to help out the unknown names, so they won't have to start off being complete no-named jobbers to bigger names.

And the IWC shitstorm begins.

You understand that if you are pissed off at the LayCool/Kaval pairing you are falling for the kayfabe right? It's Miz/Danielson all over again. Vince is a genius, he understands that the true way to the heart of the IWC is to piss them off immensely and then have a sweet payoff in the end.

Look at Bryan Danielson. First they change his name (IWC RAGES!) then they pair him with the Miz (IWC RAGES HARDER!) they turn him into a jobber (SUPER IWC RAGE!!) then they have him as one of the first eliminated (AHHH ULTRA RAGE FROM IWC!!!!!!!!!) and to top it off with Michael Cole bashing him week in week out (ULTIMATE MEGA RAAAAAGGGGGGEEEE FROM IWC!!!!!)

Only for what to happen? An amazing and entertaining Danielson/Miz and Cole feud that has the IWC creaming their pants.

Relax guys, and have faith that WWE knows whats it's doing.

Yeah you can stop talking down to me like an 8 year old obviously entertainment comes first. As far as the mic skills go Kaval has hardly ever been on the mic. So yeah Morrison isn't even close to having good promo skills but he has the "WWE Superstar" look. But the thing is its not like top guys even have that great of mic skills. Cena sucks. Since he dropped the rapper gimmick this is what all of his promos are. "Well he said hes gonna do this, but im gonna stop him. I fight for the fans. I fight for the people who got me here." Its the same thing every single time. Morrison, Cena, the majority of the roster don't compare to the top guys like Jericho, Miz and Punk and no one expects them too

And its a slap in the face to real wrestling fans because your teaming the best wrestler in the season with two mediocre female wrestlers. And i never said the Bryan-Miz pairing sucked, because despite the fact Bryan is 100 times the wrestler Miz is, they fed off eachother the entire season and made it entertaining.

Which is why I said i hope im proved wrong.
