Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Wow... Some people are really being assholes about this... It's kinda starting to irk me, because it was put into the damn poll... I understand that it was probably done as a joke, but Jebus Christ... You guys make it sound like the worst possible thing that the thread could possible be named....ever. Instead of bitching about getting another poll, I say just name it whatever came in 2nd, and be done with it. Stop slamming the name and get over it...

It's fucking stupid because It's just ongoing and never ending. We UNDERSTAND... I now totally agree that naming a thread after a popular poster is a dumb idea, because people will start to personally attack that person. Let's move on, guys. Let it go... Ok Becca some advice since you are a teenage girl and yeah. OK i asked this chick out right, and she said no because she was seeing some one else, but i know for a fact she isn't because 1) she likes me friend ( but my firend is movign to perth and he doesn't like her so that is why i asked her out) and
2) She actually lives 8 hours away from were i live but she goes to school where i live. So she only goes to were she lives on the holidays. So it's like saying she only see's her boy friend on the holidays.

It is a possibility she's being honest, and does have a boyfriend back home. Relationships can exist even with a distance of that far, however it would make things tougher. If she's being honest in saying she does have a boyfriend she's obviously serious enough about him to stay with him regardless of the distance, and I don't think anyone would have a chance with her in that state.
The other explanation is that she doesn't have a boyfriend, but didn't want to hurt your feelings by straight out saying no. I've done this to a guy before, it's fairly common. I don't want to come across as being evil here, but it doesn't seem like she likes you, and I think you'd be happier moving on from here. If you can't, or don't want to, do that, I suggest you start spending more time with her, if she doesn't already have a boyfriend she may notice you more and could develop feelings.

I don't mean to be nosy, but It honestly looks like she's trying to get around telling you off by using lame excuses. You've already stated that for a fact, you know she lives 8 hours away. She only goes home for holidays. She claims she likes your friend. 3 very good reasons why you shouldn't pursue her anymore. She's giving you excuses to hopefully prevent you from asking her out again. And as far as asking her the "normal" way or another way...Dude, if she shot you down once, she's gonna do it again no matter how you ask... Oh well it worked for the best because well you will never guess what happened today.
I caught the bus to were i usually live right ( this being 4 hours away from were i usually live). And my Garndad saw his nephew right and i met my cousin for the first time. Crazy am i right or am i right. anyways we were talking on the way back and he is like do you no {insert name here} and i am like yes i do, then he says I am her cousin. I was like WTF. So then his dad is like yeah that makes you guys second cousins. So i am eevn more like WTF . I am so glad she didn't say yes. Imagine if she did. I mean i know we are not like related by blood ( sort of anyways) But just the thought of going out with your second cousin. Fucking yuck.
Also her cousin ( my cousin) said she isn't goign out with any one so that just made it more clear.

It all goes back to that cosmic rule of "Everything happens for a reason". I actually had that EXACT same situation happen to me when I was 16. I REALLY liked this girl but she wouldn't go out with me. She just said "She liked me as a friend..." Come to find out, the bitch is my FIRST cousin... Didn't find out til I was 18 that I was adopted, but my biological father was a family friend... Ain't THAT a bitch?
