Cowboys and expectations = them sucking.I'm taking the Cowboys in this. Giants as favorites usually = them sucking.
I was kind of conflicted. As a KC fan, I wanted them to win, but at the same time, I desperately did not want to see the Raiders get in the playoffs.
It was a great day to be a Chiefs fan.
Since when does draft position indicate how good a player is or can be in the NFL. Charles Rogers was the second overall pick in the 2003 draft and was a complete bust. One year later Wes Welker went undrafted and is now one of the best receivers in the league. In 1994 Charles Johnson was the first receiver taken and was mostly a bust. That same year Rod Smith went undrafted.
My girlfriend is a Chiefs fan too, she is absolutely ecstatic that not only did the Chiefs beat the Broncos, but then immediately after that game finished, the CBS affiliate here in Michigan switched over to the SD/Oakland game, where she got to watch the Raiders lose too. She said she just got two more christmas presents this year, lol. Any day that KC wins and both Denver and Oakland lose, she is happy.
Really? You're using the draft is no guarantee argument.
So what are you trying to say about Johnson? He's not the best wideout in football? The man is awesome, he gets open, he runs circles around guys, he has to be doubled and he still produces. Stafford has two very good catching TE's. RBs who can catch and a couple of speedy secondary wideouts who can get open underneath and down the sideline.
I wish the NFL would reseed once the playoffs started. I get having every division winner make the playoffs regardless of record but I don't think every division winner deserves a home game.
