Is there a way I can view my recent posts?

Cause I can never find them in the forums if it's been like a week since I lasted visited the site.

When you see your user name, click on it. If it takes you to your profile page, click on "Search for all posts by...". If it is in a thread you see your name, clikc on it and the option appears there.
