Obviously Tessmacher is part of NWO....I mean "They" and she will take over TNA along with Hogan & Bischoff, so yeah kinda obvious.

"They" is a big mystery and i think it's great.. But with Sting, Nash, and Pope joining forces and being unhappy with TNA, I feel the nWo is coming to take over. Just a thought. So Nash, Sting, Pope, Abyss, and some new faces in TNA, there could be a dominant faction to take over the show, just like the days in WCW. who knows, i could be totaly off and thats what i like about this whole "They" storyline

While i think johnbragg's idea about Bob and Janice Carter was pretty cool, in the end I don't think it adds up. Abyss wouldn't be the type of character they would align themselves with. They are "business people" in this scenario and Dixie isn't "getting it done." But Abyss isn't a business-oriented character. He's bad for business. He's attacking random employees, branding them, brandishing a deadly weapon, etc. That's just my opinion. I think it ends up being an ex WWE faction, although I hope I'm wrong. That said, I think the build for it has been very good, even if I'm worried that the reveal will not be great.

i think that they will end up being heyman, batista, jericho, and possibly daniels and petey williams.i also read awhile back that shane mcmahon recently became the ceo of a energy company based out of china.now this might be crazy but maybe shane and dixie's father have agreed to join forces in their energy companies.I don't see THEY being hogan and bischoff because why would THEY want themselves terminated along with kurt and rvd whom both are friends with?

Well, he is attacking current TNA employees, and whoever "they" are, they want Dixie gone and noone's bigger than her. Plus, they could be taking advantage of Abyss' condition, being obviously crazy and all, so he'd do that for them. Who else would help some outsiders take his company over than a guy that's out of his mind?

I've also considered the WWE faction to be an option, but the only way that would work is for their leader to be Shane McMahon and I don't think that guy wants to even hear about wrestling.

Either way, I'm sure that Double J, Hogan and Bischoff are a part of "they". The best part about this is that I have absolutely no clue what's going to happen. All I know is that this could either make TNA or break them. We'll see what happens.

Hogan and Bischoff would be too predictable. Plus, Abyss said that "they" will be here at 10 10 10, if it was Hogan and Bischoff, aren't they already there? I honestly think it's someone different (new) because of the way Abyss has worded it, or am I just reading too much into it?

I think the ex WWE guys idea could work but I don't know about Carlito being the head guy, it'd have to be Helms. I loved his work as heel Gregory Helms before he fucked his neck up. It would make sense aswell because they could play it off as WWE guys wanting to take over TNA and shut it down and they all played decent enough heels.

Well it could still be Eric and Hulk. The page or 2 before this I did a big storyline write up of how it would work, but look at it like this. If "They" is Bob and Janice Carter Hogan and Bischoff can be employed by them because in real life Panda Energy pays their salary, not Dixie Carter. So technically they are "They" just not the ones that where coming to TNA on 10-10-10.

That bold part is so true. The same people who changed wrestling forever with one storyline is now in the drivers seat of a potential game changing story line again. If you think about it TNA right now is kind of int he same cluster fuck WCW was in in late 1995 going into the middle of 1996 before the NWO got there.

I personally would prefer if 'they' were Bob and Janice Carter, and Easy E and Hogan were given a full control of the company. This would make a perfect sense, at least IMO, and could be easy explained. Specifically, the Carters are not happy with her daughter and they think Hogan and Bischoff will be better. Why it took 10 months? Maybe for legal reasons. Why Hogan and Bischoff were hiding this (i.e. deception)? To don't give any chance for Dixie to defend herself. Why would Hogan and Bischoff want control? Control == money. Why would Bob and Janice Carter listen to Hogan and Bischoff in the first place? Because Hogan and Bischoff are con artists, and they persuaded them that they will move TNA to the next level, etc ..... Why they cannot do it with Dixie as a president? Because she has no idea about wrestling and she always turns down all their 'good' ideas. Double J will back up Hogan and Bischoff stories, and you have new bosses in TNA. Then they turn heel and a new chapter in TNA begins.

Whatever happens, I know that if 'they' turn out to be any WWE rejects such as Carlito i will be very disappointed. TNA has already big roster and they don't need more people. And what would they do? Fight with Fourtune, EV2?

Shit dude, stop making us TNA fans look bad. But I'm sure it's not...until this thread. Don't make me sad. NWO was stupid and terrible. It got over 90% on crushed dreams and nostalgia. That's very quaint and all, but the amount of talent and interesting things they buried during the MNW I will never forget or forgive. And that is why I look at TNA as of now, with their use of EV2 heads in the spots that the olden WCWers resided in and can only shake me head. Look at Jericho jobbing to Orton. Fresh blood. And that's TNA's THING. Wait wait, actually it's not. They simply say it is, because they view fans in the same light that VKM does.

You know what? I'm gonna stop now before I actually get heated.

Honestly, TNA has built this storyline for so long that if the result is anything short of amazing it will be a failure. They’ve build it up to be something that ‘changes everything’ as Ms Carter so lovingly puts it. To have it be someone like Carlito or Helms would be a disappointment. Even someone like Hogan or Bischoff would be disappointing because they are already there. I really think they’ve possibly over built this storyline but I hope I’m wrong and the pay off is huge but I certainly have my doubts.

What if it turns out to just be Mickie James giving Abyss a lot of head?

...We shall see...

See, it can't be a WWE guy or something like that because they've been planning this shit for over 10 months. Most of the WWE guys got released recently. My theory is that this storyline was created a WHILE ago. They just wrote down what they basically wanted to do and slowly did it.

As far as "they" - I'm almost 100% sure it's some guys we've not seen in TNA or haven't seen in a while.

"They are coming."

If they are coming, that means they weren't already there. I bet all my money on Janice and Bob Carter. That thing is too much of a coincidence. He's punishing people with Bob and Janice. He's constantly talking to Janice. It makes too much sense to me.

maybe it is the carters and if you had to think of two people who hate hulk hogan and easy e over the years who would you bring in to cause some problems? What if the carters brought in the one who started the nwo who had the money to back it the million dollar man ted dibiase and the one that hates the two of them the most the macho man randy savage. also to bring in added muscle with abyss bring in goldberg. if anything they can join sting and nash to really pull off an nwo invasion.

Well see the problem with that statement is it sounds like something TNA would actually do, and that would ultimately be the worst possible thing for them to do. You want them to bring in 3 guys over 45 years of age to work the main program? Really? And then we can fire AJ Styles and Beer Money.

But I seriously think that "THEY" will be a major letdown, it seems like they've been doing this slow build to a huge surprise thats going to be a complete failure. So far Dixie Carter hasnt made the greatest wrestling decisions. Hopefully "THEY" can help TNA from turning into WCWv2.

Right. TNA's been alive and well for over eight years, but yeah, Dixie's just a mark right? I bet you could run that bitch ten times better. I mean, TNA. Not MILFie.

She never made the GREATEST wrestling decisions. That's why Bischoff's there. That's why Hogan's there. That's why Russo's the--...

Anyway. I don't think it'll be a letdown. Correction. I hope it won't be. This has been going on for WAY too long for them to fuck it up. They're not idiots, I'm quite sure that they know what's at stake here. This is not a two week angle, this is not a one night thing, this has been going on for the last six or seven or eight or whatever months. Russo's a nutjob, but if he has a good filter to separate the BS from the good things he comes up with, we won't have a problem. I trust in Bischoff and Hogan mostly. WCW was 10 years ago, get over it. Vince aproved giving birth to a hand and you don't see him doing it today, do you? He smartened up. Now he's doing dance offs.

<3 Vinnie

Actually, Dixie Carter and Vince Russo on their own, fall of 2009 after Jarrett was sent home, made OK wrestling decisions. The Sting Retirement angle, the Rise of AJ Styles were both pretty good. The Angle-Morgan program was good. And you really can't go wrong with re-running Styles-Daniels-Joe. World Elite seemed to have as much potential as its members ever had.

MEM sort of faded away rather than going out with a resolution that really put anyone over, and I subtract big points for that.

But the Dixie-and-Russo-Home-Alone scorecard isn't too bad, except for the big decision to bring in Hulk Hogan as No. 1 influence.

Watch "They" turn out to be Hulk Hogan and Easy E., making everything that has been going on make perfect sense and piss off a shitload of fans.

Yep, I am calling it now; Heel turn for the Powerful Two will be part of this 10/10/10 angle. And in doing so will make an NWO.2. I don't want it, I'm sure you don't want it, but this is TNA we are talking about and much of it has been a letdown. I pray I am wrong.

well here's hoping TNA actualy deliver for once and do something original. I really hope it's not dixie's parents that would be stupid and make no sense at all, with the way they have been building this that would be a major let down.

could be batista, but then again rob terry is a batista clone just not as good a worker but he could be someday, but who else could come in with batista, carlito isn't a big enough name to be the main guy, knox would make some sense considering he has the wierd look(beard) and would probably complament abyss pretty good.

Why do so many people ask for a change, but when they get it there afraid? Its like a whiny kid who wants a toy you told them they couldn't have, but when your in a store with that kid and they see it again they make a big scene to try and manipulate you for the damn thing.

If you watch a movie with the mindset that it will be bad, than its going to be bad.WCW v.2 lol. That company is gone. Can you separate it from a company who has every one trumped and spoiler free when it comes to 10-10-10.

"They" are not what you think duh.

If you listen to what the stinger been saying "whats black is white, what white is black" he's been saying it the whole damn time people. Its about Dixie being con.Dixie think she running a wrestling promotion, but what has Easy E been doing?Making project like TNA reaction duh people.

Who is the closes to Easy E duh Miss Tessmacher.Who have we seen her make appointments with when Eric is missing duh Sting,Nash,Pope.

"Every thing seems to be going a little Hollywood" so say sting.
It's about TNA going more Hollywood I.E abyss sawing people up backstage.Abyss is paving the way for them to go more cinematic.RVD was bloody mess by who Abyss right.Wasn't those clips shot the same way as reaction and who came up with reaction?

Remember Spike T.V is a network based off of unique content.

Society these days cant seem to follow along more than 2 weeks.Put down the gadgets and read a book or go watch some P.G so, you can keep up.

Look at the WWE roster people are just smarks
Undertaker - 44 (March 24th, 1965)
Kane - 42 (April 26th, 1967)
Triple H - 40 (July 27th, 1969)
Batista - 41 (January 18th, 1969)
John Cena - 32 (April 23rd, 1977)

I believe that They could AAA promotion in Mexico. TNA would bring in there luchadors and have some what of a Team Mexico vs Team TNA war for a while plus TNA just recently signed Zorro, plus dont forget Abyss's wars with Judus Mesias and James Mitchell so this is a logical possibilty,

If not them , then ROH....Nah but who? wait till 10/10/10

I think you are right. Check the new thread that was created regarding a signing from AAA. Apparently the guy (El Zorro) will be part of a new stable with Abyss.

I knew that the "DECEPTION" and "THEY" angles were completely different. This is HUGE!!!

I like what everyone is saying about Dixie's parents being "They". I think that is who "they" is. I also believe they will strip her of control as well as Hogan and Bischoff and name Heyman as their guy.

"They" and "Deception" are the same angle.

Let's go back a year. July of 2009, TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett was ousted from the company due to his romance with Karen Angle, the ex-wife of the World Champion. Everybody was talking about who the new managers of TNA were going to be since Russo, Mantel and Cornette were Jarrett guys. Cornette and Mantel were let go and a few months later, Dixie Carter announces Bischoff and Hogan are taking over TNA. Hogan insists to the media that he is going to do the right thing for the business and change the company for the better.

Jarrett returns in December of 2009 and fixes things with Dixie, apologizing to her and Kurt Angle for the problems he caused. This all happened on iMPACT. It has absolutely no real place on television at the time because it was real and not a storyline up till this point. NOW, it's a storyline on television. After this, it was never spoken of again.

Kevin Nash starts claiming he is in communications with Hogan and that 'The Band' is back together and they are going to takeover TNA. Hogan's debut is set for Jan 4th 2010.

Hogan debuts and claims he is going to make TNA #1 and change the company for the better. Hall and Waltman arrive after talking to Nash and expect the nWo is going to wreck havoc over TNA. Hogan shuts them down, claiming he is going to do the right thing for the business. Nash comes out and says "That's not the conversation we've been having." Hogan denies it and dismisses them. Sting watches from the rafters, looking suspicious of the proceedings. He knows something is up.

Foley is ousted in favor of Hogan, who seems a little bit too determined to keep him out of the building. After Foley gets into the building, Bischoff has Hall, Waltman and Nash attack him after Foley threatens Bischoff. After this point, Bischoff deals with Foley and eventually gets him out of TNA. Hogan washes his hands of it and NEVER stops Bischoff from trying to screw Foley.

Bischoff and Jarrett feud at the same time but eventually, with little real explanation, make up after Sting returns and starts claiming something fishy is going on. Sting goes on for months about deception and how Hogan and Bischoff are not here to help TNA but are here for their own benefit. Dixie Carter, Mike Tenay, Taz and others dismiss his accusations are deranged conspiracy theories.

EV2 arrives, leading to Mick Foley's return thanks to Dixie Carter without the permission of Hogan or Bischoff. They play nice though and go along with it. Meanwhile, Kevin Nash loses Hall and Waltman as they are let go by the company and starts questioning Bischoff and Hogan. Nash, in an effort to meet with Bischoff, runs into Miss. Tessmaucher, Bischoff's assistant and alludes to spending some 'quality time' with her. The next week, Nash suddenly turns and agrees with Sting that something fishy is going on and the truth is NOT out. Sting and Nash team up at this point.

The Pope recently went to meet with Bischoff but instead had a night with Miss Tessmaucher as well. The Pope suddenly 'turns heel' and accuses Bischoff of something. He meets with Sting and Nash as they ask what Pope was told by Tessmaucher. Pope says "You know?" and Sting says "What do you think we have been fighting for this whole time?"

"They" is Hogan, Bischoff, Jarrett, Abyss, Samoa Joe (who was recruited when he was kidnapped) and probably 1 of the 3 to-be-World Champions. More than likely Mr. Anderson as Bischoff and Hogan, in storyline, brought him into the company.

This Video is a good companion piece to my post.

Watch THIS VIDEO with the assumption that Hogan and Bischoff are heels and it takes an entirely different meaning.

if thats the case tna sucks ass. im a huge fan of tna but i will stop watching if she is the deception or they story. it would be stupid to build up and then it was her.

I completely disagree with you.

Can you explain why Jarret is aligniating with Bischoff after all the bull**** and humiliation he received from him since day one? Can you explain why Hogan and Bischoff want RVD out for good and now Hardy, who have been Hogan's guys since day one? Can you explain then why Abyss point alll three: Dixie, Hogan and Bischoff when he said that THEY were comming and were going to take out them? Can you explain why Abyss was saying THEY are coming... but apparently THEY were there the whole time?!? Doesn't make sense.

Again, there's a new thread about an aliance with AAA. Read it. Now that I remember, this has been in negotiations for a while. Hernandez was a huge part of this.

So I think that THEY is a new stable, backed by someone with power... Bob and Janice has been linked. This makes sense, because Bob and Janice are not part of TNA but Panda Energy and AAA is another promotion.

On the other hand, we have the "DECEPTION" angle. And yes, this is were Hogan/Bischoff are involve. The word says it all: deception. I think this deception is all smokescreening to protect the THEY angle. Now everybody is expecting Hogan/Bischoff to form some NWO faction... and it may happen, but its not THEY.

Maybe the deception angle is about AAA and thats why Nash, Sting and Pope are furious. They are afraid that AAA will replace them or something.

Can we just wait two more weeks and find out. :D
