Do they still some what not get a long?

I remember a couple years back there was always insiders that would used to say Taker refused to work with HHH in a long term Feud. I know in this business a lot of these inside stories are exaggerated but anyone got news on there relationships in present.

I feel that if HBK can't end the streak, neither can HHH or Cena... they shouldn't. The streak should never end. Taker should walk out with a win at wrestlemania not a lose. as for HHH v. Taker at mania, that'd be great. I'd perfer undertaker v. cena more at mania because cena can probably put on more of an exciting match and keep our hearts beating the whole time... HHH v. taker is probably more likely though...

So you really think IF and only IF, STING signs with WWE next year for the Hall of FAME that him and Undertaker woiuldnt have a match, and if they did have that match Sting wouldnt win that match and actually earn his WWE Hall OF FAME status by going down as the only man to beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Anybody that disagree state your point cuz obviously HHH vs. Taker is not wats poppin next year at Mania and Taker vs Cena tho good idea, but the only way i see that happening if 1. Sting doesnt sign with WWE, and 2. THE ROCK doesnt come back to face CENA like Vince is trying to do next year then i can see the CEna vs Taker match only if both of those two things dont happen.

Well i just got off the Undertaker vs Triple H WM 27 thread and was continually disputing that next year it will be Sting vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemaina 27 and that WWE wants to put Sting in the Hall of Fame next year in Atlanta along with Goldberg, Arn Anderson, and other WCW greats that were in WWE before... But for Sting to actually be in the WWE Hall Of Fame he has to earn that right, which is the reason why i made this thread, would Sting Rightfully earn his right be in the Hall Of Fame for being the Man to put UndertKERS STREAK TO 18-1, I think so. YouTube it ladys and gentlemen, Undertaker or Sting have not been in the same ring ever in the history of MAn under any other persona they ever did, Not a Tag match, singles match, or Battle Royal EVER, and that means Sting is the ONLY man that can beat the streak IF and only IF WWE signs him next year for the Hall Of Fame, This is my first Thread So Im sorry if I posted it in the wrong spot but i thought this would be the best first thread to start I cant wait for others thoughts....... AND YES I AM A WRESTLING GENIUS.........

Absolutely 100% love the idea i have dreamed of that match my whole life especially being a huge Sting fan. I think if there is ANYONE to break the streak it should be none other the the man they call Sting. Its SHOWTIME!!!!!!

One problem, Sting, now past his 50th birthday, said, and has kept his word to never work for Vince McMahon, He is the most talented man to have worked during the same era that Vince has been in charge of the WWE that has not stepped foot in the WWE. The reason why? He doesn't need it.

Sting was one of the biggest men during the early era of the WCW, then he was one of the biggest in the NWO era of WCW, and now he is one of the biggest in TNA. Why would he ever give that up to get a match that has no build and to lose to the Undertaker? And why would Vince even think about putting Sting over his best worker of the past 20 years?

Not gonna happen. I can't believe people still talk about him losing at Mania, it will never, ever, ever, happen. NEVER. Especially not to Sting. Maybe if Goldberg came back then he'd have a shot, but still, The Undertaker will NEVER lose a WrestleMania match.

I think it would be wrong to bring sting into WWE with the sole purpose to 1. end takers streak 2. hall of fame.

1. Who the hell is sting to come to WWE and just take that right? It would honestly be a slap in the face to WWE fans. To me sting has been WCW's rip off of taker ever since he went to the crow look. He has always come off a cheap to me.

2. He hasn't earned his way into the WWE hall of fame. He prides himself on being successful without WWE and Vince.

Would I love to see the match of course....however...I think the streak is something that should remain in tact, to break it would be a huge middle finger to mark and the fans.

I would like to see this stip if taker does decide to retire at wrestlemania sooner or later.....If the undertaker wins his match at wrestlemania, he must retire....sounds dumb I know but think about it a little. The streak would be in tact and he goes out winning...it's like a lose/lose situation for him...if he loses he keeps his career, if he wins the streak is in tact but he's retired.

It would be a dream match, but it isn't going to happen. First, at this stage in the game, Sting isn't going to want to work the full time schedule of the WWE. Do you really think he would get a deal to work part time or less house shows if he needs to "earn" his way in?

Second, I hear an interview with him years ago about how he was going to sign with WWE but changed his mind. The reason was he was watching RAW and there was an interaction between The Rock and Booker T (shortly after his WWE debut) and The Rock Said, "Who in the blue hell are you" Sting was offended that the WWE felt like "who was this guy" Sting has/had alot of respect for Booker T and he felt it was a slap in the face and Sting didn't sign and instead decided to take his retirement instead of signing.

I don't think he needs the money that the WWE would pay him and I think if he walked away today and just did autograph signings and talks, he would be fine. Up until this year, look how well it worked for Bret Hart.

What in Gods name are you smoking? I was kinda with ya up until the part where you mentioned takers streak ending at the hands of sting. On what planet do you think Vince would or should, end one of the most prestigious, (all be it fake, but nontheless) streaks the wwe has ever had, to a wcw lifer.
This will absolutley never happen, nor should it.

At Wrestling Genius, I really love the idea of having Sting come back and face Taker. But just becauze he''s goin in the Hall of Fame and then lose at Mania aint actually cool.

ur not a wrestling genius ur a wrestling idiot...y in the hell would sting a man whose never worked for wwe end the undertaker's streak whose worked there for 20 yrs? makes no sense at all....tna sucks

THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea how maney times this idea has been brought up. sting will never go to wwe, and he will never face the undertaker. and if vkm wouldnt let hbk, a man who has been wwe forever and is actually younger than sting, end the streak y would he have a man who has refused to work for him so long do it. as much as id like sting to end the streak (llet the talk of how much better taker is begin) it just plain wont happen

Pete Rose is in the WWE Hof.. its not anything to write home about. Sting does not need to "earn" a spot on it. I personally hope he never sets foot in WWE ever, he doesnt need it and it really wont do anything for him.

As awesome of an idea of having Sting in WWE, and the dream match with Taker on the greatest stage of them all, I have to say that is more than unlikely.

We all know Sting has stated (more than once) that he will never work for Vince. Sting has never worked for Vince and I am sure Vince cannot buy him out.

Hall Of Fame is actually very likely. People are already disputing this but Vince did in fact buy out WCW, meaning all properties belong to him. If he feels it prudent for Sting to go into the Hall Of Fame, then he will do it and there's no arguing with the Boss.

As for the dream match, again I would say it sounds so awesome but IS in fact too good to be true. WWE will not let someone they never worked with before beat their greatest Wrestlemania icon (That is still active). Why would they?

Great idea though. It's something I would like to see in a wrestling game. But it just won't happen especially with both Taker's and Sting's age. It's more likely that Austin will verse Hogan, and that will not happen either because Austin said he will never wrestle again...period.

ur not a wrestling genius ur a wrestling idiot...y in the hell would sting a man whose never worked for wwe end the undertaker's streak whose worked there for 20 yrs? makes no sense at all....tna sucks

he was talking to the original poster named wrestling genius, and tna sucking has nothing to do with the thread so whats the point in saying that? please think your posts through better before submitting them for all of our sakes

I doubt Sting will ever wrestle for the WWE. That being said, I think he still belongs in their Hall of Fame for 2 reasons. 1) he did most of his career for WCW and WWE now owns the WCW rights. 2) correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sure there's at least one other wrestler in the Hall of Fame who never worked for the WWE (as i type this i remember Antonio Inoki). i'm also pretty sure that Sting would accept the WWE Hall of Fame induction as he's not working for Vince, just being honored.

Now would I love to see an Undertaker v. Sting match? YES! Just not at Wrestlemania. Because let's face it, Sting is not going to be the one to end the streak. If it's at Summerslam or another PPV, then there's a legit chance that Sting could get the win. But he's not ending the streak. The only way the streak is ending is to the hands to a young up and comer who can use the push to become a megastar.

Dear God man... A wrestling "genius"... 'Taker is known for..his streak. HBK was "Mr. Wrestlemania", in that he put on some of the best performances in history...Trips "The Game/Cerebral Assassin", he is on another level. SCSA, Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass. I can go on, but the point is 'Taker may run his streak to 20-0... there will never be -1, a -0-1 (thats a draw folks). 'Taker will retire undefeated. Bottom line. The Rock will always be the peoples' champ, and the millions (AND MILLIONS) of the Rock's fans will chant his name if he ever graces a ring again (ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY). And 'Taker will go into the books with a spotless record. I submit to any moderator out there to just quit "these who is gonna beat 'Taker" threads before they hatch. Anyone, with any WWE acumen, knows this to be DAMN TRUE (there's another one for ya..Olympic Gold medalist and all)...

As much as I love dream matches and the crow vs the deadman is one of them, I honestly think you have a better chance of Macho Man vs The Ultimate Warrior at WM 27 then you do ever seeing these two lock up.

If you really want to know I honestly think the match for next year if it isn't Cena vs Taker its going to be Goldberg vs. Taker and build it as Deadman vs. Monster and use footage from WCW going into the 100's with his streak and how he has beaten legends in the business and how he plans to add another legend to the list, and there you have it IMO.

well I'll have to totally disagree for a few reasons

1. WTF STING??? this asshole cares less about the wwe than I do about ******ed people. he won't ever show up for any reason not even HOF.

2. WTF STING??? this guy was around during pearl harbor and needs a walker in the ring(yes I know he is in TNA and still wrestling but he's shit)

3. WTF STING?? A guy who would have achieved nothing in the WWE ever not even an appearance is gonna come in and take a record that is what 20 years in the making?

bad idea and I agree it would be a slap in the face to wwe fans and I would be one of the people rioting

And by the way, sting and taker did wrestle in the nwa in 1989 and 90 when taker was mean mark. Fuck you tube, google it.

Link please, something that isn't Yahoo Answers or other message boards/comments on blogs.

I couldn't see them letting Sting be the one to beat Taker at WM. Also I couldn't see Sting coming to WWE just to have one match and lose. If he goes in the Hall of Fame I think it will be like when Bret did, HOF only.

Okay my opinion on the One Night Streak match:
Forget it people. Why forget it? Because there really isn't a chance in hell that The Rock, Stone Cold, Sting, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan or anybody else won't return for "1 night only" to face The Undertaker or even defeat The Undertaker.

Rock: Movies and has not proven his loyalty to WWE. He said he'd be back in January to host, it's now post WrestleMania and where is The Rock? If I was in the crowd when Rock was host, I'd have no hesitance to chant "YOU SOLD OUT".
Stone Cold: His injuries are preventing him to have a great match. Also, he is with movies too. Not as much as Rock but he has movies to act in and other issues.
Bret Hart: His match with Vince is what you could expect if Hart ended Taker's streak. It wouldn't be worthy enough as a match and he just can't take the bumps needed to make it mean something.
Hulk Hogan: He can't sell and to many is a bad wrestler. He's in TNA and since the "prodigy" went to TNA I don't know if Vince would let him in, if he had troubles with Dixie and then quit and became unemployed.
Sting: He is a good candidate, but he wanted to retire from Wrestling *fullstop*. The only reason he returned was because of Ric Flair coming to TNA.
Kurt Angle: He has no plans to work for Vince McMahon again. Enough said.

So really he won't be vs'ing Taker at WM XXVII.

No matter what your opinion is, there is absolutely NO reason to speak disrespectfully about a true legend is this business. What proof do you have that he's an "asshole?" Sting was obviously not around during the Pearl Harbor bombings, and I've never seen him use a walker in the ring, so why would he need one? And I'm pretty sure that if he was "shit," he wouldn't be the wrestling icon he is today. You know what?...forget respect. Show some common sense and at least appear to know what you're talking about. Then again, you obviously do not know what you're talking about.

I agree this match shouldn't happen, the main reason being I want Sting to retire without ever wrestling a match for WWE. I also do not want The Streak to end. No one will ever come close to accomplishing what The Undertaker has at Wrestlemania.

I, however, would love to see Sting inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he's more than earned the right. If WWE goes through with this WCW thing for next year, hopefully Sting has said his goodbyes to TNA.

Why in the world should Sting get a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania? The only way this should even be considered is if Sting becomes a regular member of the roster long before mania and naturally enters into a feud with Taker around January. I don’t see that happening. I don’t see any reason he should be given such a high profile match just because he may go in the hall of fame. He never wrestled a single match in WWE.

The argument about Sting and Taker never crossing paths is more of a reason it should not happen. They have absolutely zero history. I have never heard this talked about as a dream match. In the 80’s Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair was the big dream match. During the attitude era it was Austin vs. Goldberg. If anything Sting vs. HBK would have been the dream match of the 90’s.

The craziest part of this idea is Sting actually ending the streak. I can not think of one single reason that makes sense. So you want Vince to bring in a guy for a one time appearance who never wanted to work for him before and have that guy go over one of his biggest stars for the past twenty years at his signature event? You need to be stripped of the name wrestling genius. The Brain outranks you on this one.

Believe it or not, I wouldn't completely rule out a Sting cameo in the WWE. Whether that be a match or simply a backstage appearance remains to be seen, but like I said, I wouldn't rule it out. ;)

Would he beat Undertaker?? I can guarantee you that he won't. At least never at Wrestlemania. Ever. Like some people have said before (some in an extremely immature and direspectful fashion, some not), Sting ending the streak does nothing for the WWE.

And the first post talked about Sting earning his spot in the WWE HOF. I think his credentials speak for themselves. Many WWE inductees had very little to do with WWE. Some were even direct competition. So as far as I'm concerned, Sting in the WWE HOF someday is inevitable.

It could work, as I mentioned in the previous thread. Sting can get inducted to the HOF and come out and say the only reason why he accepted is a chance to challenge Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

This makes the moment monumental. Imagine Sting has never worked for the WWE before but his only match is at a Wrestlemania to challenger Taker. Of course Undertaker will win but who says someone has to win to make a memorable impact at a WM? Remember Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and Andre the Giant all lost in a match at WM but still left a legacy.
