My WM picks go like this:

Triple H vs. Sheamus II-Since it's taking so long for Triple H to return this is the only way to have this match make since or will work. I don't know how they would do this before WM. I can see Triple H interfering in Sheamus's matches before WM which would lead to their WM match.

Wade Barrett vs. The Undertaker-Wade Barrett is the one behind The Nexus attacking the Undertaker. This makes sense more than any other match.

John Morrison vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship-I know people will bash this but this will work out great. John Morrison can win at the Rumble and then defend the title at EC. Miz comes out on Raw the next night and says he never recieved a one on one rematch for the title and he wants at the Biggest Show of the Year WM.

John Cena vs. CM Punk-Simple. CM Punk costs Cena his shot for the World Title or WWE Title somehow and this leads to their WM match.

The Big Show vs. Kane 5 Years in the Making-Can't think of a good reason for this match other than I want to see it. For the last few years it seems like whenever they are suppose to face each other one on one it never happens. In 2006 when they split up from their tag team I don't think they had a match with each other. Kane ended up having a match with fake Kane. In 2008 at Night of Champions it was suppose to be the Big Show vs. Kane but Mark Henry got involved and it turned into a triple threat match. So this time it should happen. Find out who the true giant/monster of the WWE is.

Edge vs. Christian World Title match- Christian wins the Royal Rumble.

Alex Riley vs. Daniel Bryan-Nothing more than a filler match. Should be a good match though.

WWE Title: C.M Punk (c) Vs. John Cena. This will definitely be the hottest feud going into the show. While it won't "need" the title, it will make the match that much bigger. Punk wins the title sometime between now and E.C. Cena walks out champion.

World Heavyweight Championship: The more logical explanation would be Edge (c) Vs. Del Rio or maybe even a more known name such as Big Show or Mysterio. But I'm going to throw out Edge (c) Vs. Christian. I can see Christian returning when Del Rio is beating up Edge and have the swerve where Christian attacks Edge instead. He could say while Del Rio put him on the shelf for x amount of months, Edge turned his back on him for the last 8 years and blah blah blah. Could be some good stuff.

The Undertaker Vs. The Nexus. I don't think Taker will take them all on, that would be terrible for the Nexus, but I can see Taker taking on a couple of them or teaming with Big Show and maybe a former Nexus member. Possibly just Taker Vs. Barrett. If it's just Taker Vs. Barrett, I could see the former Nexus Vs. current Nexus tag match.

HHH Vs. Sheamus. No explanation needed for this one. I see Sheamus going over this year.

The Miz and Michael Cole Vs. Jerry Lawler and someone like Big Show or another old timer. Could even be a six man tag with Riley and maybe two WCW alumnist. Only problem here is who does commentary with both Cole and Lawler in the ring? Maybe J.R returns? I could also see the Miz facing a random celebrity.


I think we'll see MITB which could feature Del Rio, Christian, Mysterio, Bryan, Kane, Kidd, Henry, Ziggler, R-Truth, Kingston, Swagger, Morrison, Big Zeke, McIntyre, or Cody Rhodes.

Someone mentioned earlier about Kozlov and Marella Vs. The Usos. I like that. Makes sense with the involvement of Tamia. I like the Usos and I wouldn't mind seeing the belts on them.

I can also see something like Bryan Vs. Ziggler Vs. Swagger and or Kingston in a U.S/I.C title match similar to what we saw at WM 2000. The first fall would be for the U.S title and the second would be for the I.C.

Oh man, I've been saying something like this for months. I wanted to start a thread on how to end the streak, but I don't have enough posts yet or something. Anyways, if Punk wasn't revealed to be in the Nexus last night, I would have thrown this match out there:

Cena Vs. Taker. I'd keep the Nexus out of this. I think it's too ridiculous to put Cena in the Nexus now. It makes zero sense. But what I would do is continue with this more aggressive Cena. Don't turn him but to show a "meaner" side. As for the match, it can be for the title or not, it doesn't matter. Sometime during the match, have a ref bump (annoying, I know), have Cena knock out Taker with a chair, 1-2-3. Cena can come out the next night, say he's accomplished a lot while being the nice guy and they hated him for it. He can say the fans still hate him, but now he's accomplished something no one has ever done before. This accomplishes a lot. One, this could make Cena one of the biggest heels in recent memory. Kids would be heartbroken and older fans would hate it because so many people are in love with the streak.

Another thing this accomplishes is it doesn't waste the streak. Wrestling is all about putting people over. Taker doesn't need a spotless record at Wrestlemania. If he doesn't lose, then it was a complete waste. A win over Taker can immediately elevate someone. I agree he shouldn't lose just for the sake of losing. But if WWE wants turn Cena into a "monster heel", here's how to do it. It also makes a hell of a lot more sense then Cena joining or being revealed as the leader of Nexus.

With all that said, it's still hard to predict Cena turning heel. He's so damn good at being the top babyface. But I think he will sometime. No one thought Austin would turn and he did. No one thought HHH would turn face and he's been a face for a few years now. A Cena heel turn will be one of the biggest moments in this eras so when it's done, they want to make sure it's done right. The longer he's a face, the more people want to see a turn.

The Miz is the Champion, and I see him holding on somehow all they until WM while Orton on the other hand continues to go after his title and regain it back at WM.

I'm not saying Christian wins the RR, but I do think he gets involved with Edge somehow leading to this.

I know sounds crazy. But the HoF will be WCW themed, and Sting was involved in one of the biggest storylines ever in WCW with the nWo, and I see him helping out Taker to take out Kane&Barrett for what happened at Bragging Rights

6. Lesnar vs Undertaker- Undertaker, duh. Lesnar's got No chance in Hell, but atleast we get this glorious rematch

Punk vs Orton vs Kane vs Cena vs Edge vs Miz- To unify the world titles.- This should be elimination style, so we can get down to Orton vs Cena at the end, and have Cena screw Orton out of the title. Possibly even injuring Orton ( it is reported that wwe wants him to take some time off to recoup from injuries)

Cena becomes the unifed champion ( much to my dismay) and begins his year long title/heel run.

Yes, I would like to see Cena hold on tot he title for a year, give the unified title so mad prestige and then face Taker at Wrestlemania.

Taker will not lose, no matter who he verses unless its cena which is also possible and would be a great match.

The only other person that HHH could fight at mania besides sheamus but would still be unlikely is nexus leader cm punk. So nexus / triple H feud, unlikely though

Chris jericho will not be back for mania, he is still touring till early february and that is when his book comes out so he will be more promoting that . I guess its still possible but doubtful

So Cena was behind Nexus totally kicking his ass like 100 times and getting him fired? doesnt makes sense man thats what i think, Cena isn't gonna turn heel anytime soon so we all need to get used to his "super cena" face ways, as for the tag match, i disagree, Cena and taker are too big of stars to have wasted in a tag match

Orton and Edge agrees. Punk wins here with the help of Nexus to become the first Undisputed Champion in over 8 years. Match last for 17 mins.

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match: Diva's Championship
Natalya vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool vs. Mileena
- All cross paths eventually in this solid 8 min diva match. Last two remaining is Phoehix and Natlaya. With Phoenix scoring the win.

Non-Sanctioned Match
"The King of Kings" Triple H vs. "The King of the Ring" Sheamus
- Triple H is not cleared to Wrestle when he returns so the only way these two can get a match is if its non-sanction. With Sheamus taunting Triple H left and right. This match is a war, chairs, sledgehammers, lead pipes, scepters etc. In the end its a no contest but Triple H beats the crap out of Sheamus in this 16 min match.

Wargames: Team WCW vs. Team Miz
Goldberg, Booker T, The Big Show, and Ron Simmons vs. The Miz, Kane, Jack Swagger, and Alex Riley w/ David Arquette
- Arquette returns with the Miz mocking WCW and the World Title saying he is the greatest champion. The Big Show intervenes but Swagger, Kane, Riley, and Miz gang up on him forsome reason. Big Show calls for backup ... all former WCW World Champions and challenges them to War Games. With Team WCW picking the victory. Match lasts for 23 mins.

Grudge Match
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio
- The grudge match that needs to happen. It could happen at the Rumble but then again it might now. The feud has actually been going pretty well and they can feasibly extend this until WM. Del Rio scores the win here in this 12 min match.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Ted Debiase vs. Christian vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger
- Well it's Wrestlemania. I see this lasting 14 mins. Morrison picks up the win.

- From previous posts I do like the idea. I think they could set this up where Barett challenges Bryan at WM, with Barrett scoring victories on Bryan. Of course this makes Barrett looks strong only for Bryan to score the victory. I see this match lasting 10 mins.

Eventually the Uso will say something about Santino stealing their girl. Just seems to easy to not do this match.

Grudge Match
John Cena vs Wade Barrett
Don't know how but I think they will find a way to have this match and finally end it between these two.

The Streak
Undertaker vs Cm Punk
They have to find a way to have The nexus attack on undertaker during the buried alive match and Otunga little quote about the real reason they attacked him come full circle. This is a prefect fit. Taker can keep his streak. Punk gets his push. This match is bigger than the Championship. It would take Punk to a new level. Plus this is only 19 in a row. Save the big one for number 20 and serve punk up to the streak.

This is just what i think it could be. I could see them going in some other directions. Maybe Jomo will have someone to fued with instead of just being in MITB because he doesn't need it.I could see Punk winning the rumble with nexus help. I'm sure there will be a woman match, probably involving Awesome Kong if she just signed.Also some battle Royal dark match that Mark Henry or some other face will win to get the crowd going

I can see this becoming the main event of WrestleMania. It could also possibly create the heel turn for John Cena that the IWC so desperately wants, as he'd be able to say "I had The Undertaker beat! He tapped" etc... But I do think this could be a very good match, and it would draw.

This could be a good angle. I'd definitely like to see Punk be the one to unify the titles to create the WWE World Championship or the Undisputed WWE Championship. All three of these guys could definitely put on one hell of a match.

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match: Diva's Championship

I like this. One thing I would add to it would be to have Kia Stevens (or whatever her ring name in WWE will be) come out at the end, and attack the winner.

Non-Sanctioned Match

You can't have a WrestleMania without Triple H. It's true. This would be the best way for Hunter to gain revenge on Sheamus for putting him out of action for almost a year, and he wouldn't get buried. A no-contest at WrestleMania is something that almost never happens. This would definitely be different.

Wargames: Team WCW vs. Team Miz

Wargames... Interesting... Haven't heard of anyone mentioning that in a very long time. But, I do think it would make for interesting programming. David Arquette could be the "celebrity" at WrestleMania.

I can see ADR and Rey having a stellar match. And, like you said, this is definitely a feud that can easily be stretched until WM. I, personally, don't think it's gotten stale yet.

I definitely agree with you, if you're idea is to open with Daniel Bryan. Personally, I would rather see Daniel Bryan v. Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania in a Champion v. Champion match (or unification match). Give them the chance to shine on the Grandest Stage of All.

Overall, I think your program is really good for WrestleMania, and, if it were to happen, it could be one of the best WrestleManias in recent memory!

I accidentally put Swagger in two matches war games and money in the bank. Whoops if that was the case then maybe Ezekiel Jackson can fill any of the two slots, I would guess the Wargames match then.

I guess of Jackson was still on RAW, I would have Bryan vs. Jackson for the US Title. Jackson dominated Bryan for 4 months eliminating Bryan from the Rumble, pinning him at Elimination Chamber, beating him at a regular non-title match until Jackson challenges Bryan at WM. Bryan accepts of course but scores the underdog win against the big man.

According to reports yesterday, Chris Jericho will be returning within the next few weeks, so Y2J will come back at the Rumble, and take on the Miz at WM.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - EDGE (C) VS ALBERTO DEL RIO
Edge will retain the title against Kane at the RR, then will continue on to the EC, and win there, because The Undertaker take out Kane. Leading on to my next match.
Winner - "The Rated 'R' Superstar" Edge
CASKET MATCH - THE UNDERTAKER VS KANE
The Undertaker will return, and beat the sh*t out of Kane. Simple as.
Winner - The Undertaker 19-0
IC + US UNIFICATION MATCH - DOLPH ZIGGLER VS DANIEL BRYAN
These two had a great match back at Bragging Rights, and I would love to see another one between them. They would both have a great feud up until Summerslam I think.

MONEY IN THE BANK MATCH - CHRISTIAN + ANY 7 OTHERS
Christian deserves a title shot, so give him one, whenever he wants. Edge and Christian could become the most dominant tag team again, and Christian will win the WWE title. They will both be face, but they have better titles than the WWE Tag Titles.

3 STAGES OF HELL MATCH - "HHH" TRIPLE H VS "KING" SHEAMUS
Singles Match, Steel Cage Match, Falls Count Anywhere Match. Sheamus goes one up in the singles, probably DQ, so HHH has the upper hand in the Cage Match. HHH draws the match by throwing Sheamus off the top. Falls Count Anywhere, Triple H - Pedigree through an announce table.
Winner - "HHH" Triple H

Also, add a WWE Tag Title match, and a diva match. But who cares about them?

As posted on the site earlier, we found out today that if all goes to plan John Cena will face The Miz and Randy Orton will face CM Punk .

Right now I'm liking this, all 4 are main eventers as we've seen in the past. Cm punk vs Orton is the match that I want to see more. I'm not actually to sure how this one will work out with Punk in the Nexus and doing his storyline with Cena. But really I think the rub from Orton to Cm would work pretty well. Cm wins at mania and goes into the title picture that we all know he can be put into That’s what I'm hoping for.

On the other hand we have The Miz going into his first mania Headlining match. I believe that The Miz is a good character, he fits in with whats popular in pop culture today. To be honest he's not the best dick head character ever. But he's good on the mic and a young superstar and that’s what the Wwe needs with the title to draw in more viewers. Sure if you put Cena with the belt he will sell, but that’s just to the old crowd. What about bringing in a whole new group of kids with the Miz.

Really that’s what we have so far. We have Santino and Vladimir as tag team champs, a very solid wrestler in the Us champ Daniel Bryan to. So I could see a quick match with the tag team division, maybe a tornado tag match. But I believe Daniel Bryan's match will be pretty great.

We also have the diva's personally I just dvr the shows and fast forward that part of the show. So I'll let you guys talk about them.

And we have the Smackdown champs, Edge, and Dolph. Dolph's title has some pretty solid competition in the air with Kofi and Swagger, so I'm looking for that as a pretty good match if Swagger is included into it. The whole Edge and Kane storyline bull is pretty much all but over. But Kane is very much so in the title picture, along with a few more members on smackdown.

So with this lets talk about the matches that have been planed, and the title holders as of now.

 

[The Eighties]

Personally I'd prefer to see Cena and Punk have a long feud that culminates at Wrestlemania, I think the two of them can create something special but it needs time. Miz vs Cena just does nothing for me at all as a Wrestlemain title match.

The miz (c) vs randy orton vs John Morrison

The miz gets a clean win over jomo at RR and it's left with orton, miz and jomo in the EC . Jomo and orton take out miz for the time being then they go at it and orton hits the rko on jomo and pins him and miz comes in rolls up Randy then gets the win and retains. The next night on Raw orton says he should be champion and wants miz at mania then jomo interups orton saying he wants the title shot and miz interups and says neither of them are getting a title shot then the GM interups (hopefully we know who it is by then) he says orton and Jomo will go at it tonight for the #1 contendership. During the match Jomo is about to finish orton and miz runs in and tries to jump Jomo but Jomo gets the upperhand and the ref calls a no contest and miz gets on the mic and says neither of them won so they don't get the match then the GM comes in and says miz will vs both orton and Jomo. And at mania orton hits miz with the rko and Jomo gets rid of orton before he gets the cover then Jomo hits the flying chop for the win. The Jomo era has begun
Winner: and NEW wwe champion John Morrison.


World Heavyweight Championship match
Edge (c) vs Alberto del rio vs Christian (Royal Rumble Winner)

Edge retains the whole way through to mania and a returning Christian wins the Royal Rumble last eliminating del rio. The following week Christian celebrates on smackdown and out comes del rio and del rio says he challenges him at EC for his mania title shot( like Rey and Randy back in 06). Christian declines at first then del rio says how christain is scared and he will injure him again and Christian accepts to prove he can beat del rio . At EC the ref gets knocked out and christain hits the kill switch but the ref is out Christian has the three count then realizes the refs out he attempts to pick up del rio then del rio hits a lowblow then the cross Armbar the ref comes to and Christian holds but eventually taps as del rio celebrates and gives a wink to christain and a dissapointed christain stands up looks around and says I'm sorry then leaves. Then the smackdown after EC del rio celebrates and teddy Long comes out and says Christian had that match won and he is making it a triple threath at mania and at mania Christian hits the killswitch on edge for the win and this starting the heel turn of edge
Winner: and NEW World Heavweight Champion Christian


Cm Punk vs John Cena
Cena Gets eliminating by punk in the RR and then again in the chamber match punk comes out and says he is better then punk and the match is set up for mania and at mania nexus ambush cena but Cena fights them off and the GM says te nexus is band from ringside and Cena fights back after 2 go to sleeps and hits the AA and then the stf for the win
Winner: John Cena


Intercontinental Championship
Rey Mysterio (c) vs Kofi Kingston
On smackdown after RR mysterio defeats signore for the title
And Kofi defeats swagger for a shot at the title and at mania Kofi picks up the win with TIP for the win to become champion
Winner: and NEW intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston


Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
Brock gets the release from UFC that he wants and returns to smackdown to cost taker the return match against Kane running to the ring and giving him an F5 they have awesome promos leading up to mania then at mania we see taker go over Lesnar in what will be the most bullshit mania match in history
Winner: 19 -0 the Undertaker

Chris Jericho vs Wade Barrett
In a match between orton and Barrett Jericho returns to get revenge on orton and he hits the codebreaker on orton then sets up a punt to the skull and before he connects Barrett attacks him and hits him with a waste land then attacks him with a chair and leaves then Jericho comes out the following week saying he tought Barrett all he knows and he challenges him at mania and at mania Jericho goes over Barrett starting the face turn and return of y2j
Winner: Chris Jericho

United States Championship
Daniel Bryan(c) vs R Truth
DBD eliminates truth in the RR then costs them a tag match by tagging himself in and then again by costing truth a match against i.e Ted Dibiase afte ted hits DBD and Bryan gets truth dq'd and the next week truth comes out and says he's not mad at bryan then when Bryan is bout leave he attacks him this starting the heel turn of truth at mania truth hits a new finisher on DBD but gets a 2 bryan reverses into the lebel lock for the win
Winner: and STILL United States Champion Daniel Bryan

Divas Championship
Beth Pheonix(c) vs Awesome Kong
Beth beats Natalya but remains face and Awesome kong debut and dominates the Divas divisiton and gets the match a Mania after saying to Beth there's a new dominate diva in the wwe and at mania Awesome kong hits Awesome Bomb and becomes the longest and most dominate Divas champion in history
Winner: and NEW Divas Champion Awesome Kong

Triple H vs Sheamus
Grudge match obvious turn out

15 man breakout battle royal
This replaces MITB and is for any wrestler who hasn't been world champion to get a shot at the title of his brand at the next ppv

I was a tad suprised when I read this, given that CM Punk has just entered a programme with Cena. WM is around 12 weeks away. We have the Rumble and Elimination Chamber coming up. I can't see this battle ending at RR, so surely it will end at EC. Where one will obviously lose...be hard to build CM Punk for Orton or Cena for the Miz off the back of a loss huh?

Anyway, Miz vs Cena makes sense, maybe we will see Cena "pass the torch" as face of the company. Thats what Vinny Mac wants Miz as (apparently). Punk and Orton is a refreshing new fued aswell.

Santino/Kozlov will probably still be champs. No credible opponents yet. I think we might see a 4-way for that title to involve more superstars in the Card.

Bryan will hopefully defend against Kidd. I think that would be a really interesting battle. They planted a seed a few weeks ago on Raw.

Awesome Kong will be fully established by then. Would love to see her and Beth get it on.

Edge will probably be Champ on Smackdown. I see him facing off against Del Rio. Not sure where that will leave Rey, Big Show and Kane though. If Christain returns I would like to see him face Edge for the gold. I'd then put Del Rio in the MITB and have him win that.

Dolph Ziggler will hopefully defend - and lose. Then he can move over to Raw in the draft. Maybe build Tyler Reks and have him challenge. Have him turn into a "tweener" and carry the belt a few months to get over. I actually like him.

Undertaker - not a clue who he will face. Still rumours over Brock, Brock apparently wants too but Dana wont budge unless Vinny coughs up $$$. Cant see it happening. Probably be Wade Barret who isnt ready for this yet in my opinion. The only way they could make this interesting is if Taker is in a handicap match against all of Nexus. Which ends the group when he destroys them all one by one.

MITB - well whoever is left over I suppose. Del Rio should get the briefcase, he's a sneaky SOB. I can see Rodriguez driving out in the Limo, the champ watching closeley and Del Rio comign through the crowd.

And Wrestlemania XXVI last year didn't do any better. Approximately 885,000 people ordered the event. This figure is down from WrestleMania XXV's figure of 960,000 buys. And that was after Vince booked Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker, Chris Jericho vs Edge, Vince McMahon vs Bret Hart, Sheamus vs Triple H, CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio, and John Cena vs Batista.

And both events didn't even have a sold out crowd. Worse yet, WWE had to give away 10,000 free tickets for Wrestlemania XXVI to fill out the empty seats.

If these two dull matches have really been penciled, then the other two boring matches to go would be Triple H vs Sheamus & Undertaker vs Wade Barrett. Wow, that's 4 horrible matches already. And all featuring supposed main-eventers no less!

Will Wrestlemania's 27 buyrate even reach 750,000 or even 500,000 with such a lousy card like Cena vs Miz, Orton vs Punk, Sheamus vs HHH again, and a boring match between Undertaker vs Wade Barrett or Undertaker vs Nexus? I think it will definitely suffer no sold out crowd again this year, and that makes it 3 years in a row.

Now the only match that can save this event from being the most boring Wrestlemania ever is Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar or somehow Undertaker vs Chris Jericho. there is no way tht card will sell at mania. i think they shud take the wwe title off miz at EC coz there is no way he'll sell maineventing mania. i rekon punk shud win the wwe title at EC screwin cena in the process and setting up punk cena wwe title at mania. hav miz get eliminated early in the chamber and want revenge on who eliminated him. then hav jericho come back and fued with orton. hav christian win the rumble if he returns and face edge seeing who truly was the star of E&C and hav hopefully taker v lesnar or even taker v Big Show if totally necessary coz tht'll still be better then taker barrett.

1. If Rey does retire, I expect Kane to do it cause there's no way WWE would let out Kane from a major storyline after his main event run and Rey & Kane had a fair share of history together. And the Last Ride suffice the stipulation also.

2. If Wade does go to Smackdown!, I expect him to turn face and go against a heel mid-carder from Smackdown!, thus Dolph Ziggler.

Oh, BTW, however small, Undertaker vs Jericho would contribute a helluva more to the buyrate than Undertaker vs Barrett or Undertaker vs Nexus. U can take that to the bank.
