He's done it! He's done it! After ten years in the indies and a rocky WWE career to say the least, Bryan made The Miz tap out to the LeBelle Lock to become the NEW United States Champion!!!

This is awesome! I'm obviously a HUGE Bryan fan, so it's great to see the guy get a midcard title in the WWE so soon. I have no doubt that this will lead to Bryan going into many feuds with various midcarders. We may finally have a fighting US Champion again, after so long! This was the logical thing to do, and kudos to WWE for actually doing it! I can't wait to see where Bryan goes from here.

What do you think about Bryan's victory?

Looks like Daniel Bryan has beaten the Miz and won his first WWE title...

How long do you think he'll hold it and who would you like to see him fued with next?

Is the US title more important the the IC title?

I'm also a fan of Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan, but I just sorta wish he would play his "king of submissions" role more fully. The man has incredible technical talent, but so far in WWE, the only real submission move he has executed has been the LaBell Lock, which is simply his finisher.

As for his title win, hopefully the new exposure from this huge feud and big win will make him step up his game, and hopefully improve his mic skills. I can easy see Bryan jumping into the main event in the future, but not consistently, playing a similar role to the one played by Benoit. (Please don't over-read into that, you know what I mean.)

Ugg I just threw up a little. Now granted DB is not horrible but he is just making Miz look weak.
This should have gone at least one more PPV and Miz won here
and even if he cashes in he looks weak and makes Bryan Miz for the big thing ugg

IM FUCKING ECSTATIC. Bryan Danielson is fucking awesome and I'm a huge Danielson mark. I hope that he brings back some legitimacy to the US title because was a lackluster champion and did not to much for the belt. WWE made the smart choice by letting Danielson win he was mad over with the crowd and the match was fantastic. I have no clue who he could feud with I'm just happy he is the New US CHAMPION

Congratulations to the new United States Champion, the one, the only, Daniel Bryan!! Perhaps someone should go and check on Doc to make sure he hasn't had a heart attack or anything yet.

What an excellent match in my opinion. Daniel Bryan selling his arm injury in such a believable manner. The attempt at interference from Alex Riley thwarted by DBD. Bryan showcasing just a little of his repertoire, showing the type of wrestler who will be carrying the US title for an extended run. And all of this happening without making the Miz look weak at all, so that later on tonight, when he cashes in his MITB briefcase to take the newly crowned WWE champion Randy Orton's title, it will be totally plausible.

The question is, Doc, do you want to be the one to bring this to LetEmKnow's attention, or should this honor belong to me? You remember our friend LEK, the guy who said there was no way these guys would even face each other for the US title, and if they did, that there was no way DBD would ever win it. I seem to remember laughing smilies accompanying his thoughts. He also suggested that there would be a dead crowd response to DBD, that he wasn't over with the crowd. I guess he was wrong about that too.

That match was absolute quality! The Miz never looked better in the match too him and DB put each other over perfectly. I'm buzzing over Bryan's victory, don't care if the rest of the PPV is crap now as I've got the only thing I wanted out of it now :)

Don't think it will be the last we see tonight of The Miz maybe...

I think Bryan could have a good run with the belt. I think his win has more to do with the Miz and MITB, but thats a different story for another day. I wouldnt mind seeing Bryan defend against DiBiase, Morrison, Riley, some one in Nexus, and so on. I think if they unify the US and IC Belts, he is better than Ziggler, and then imagine the matches Bryan can have if the belt is defended on both shows. The Bryan title reign has a lot of potential and let's hope WWE delivers it.

This was the one match I have been looking to see (IMO the others are kind of a cliché) and it met my expectations.
I am happy to see Bryan holding the US Title... I predict that Miz will cash in his MITB after the six pack...

How in the name of God did this match make the Miz look weak in any capacity? Just because a wrestler is in the midst of a push and is nearing the upper echelon of the organization doesn't mean they have to win every single match they ever compete in or they look weak. Whether you like the Miz or whether you don't, whether you're a fan of DBD or whether you aren't , both of these guys came out of this match looking absolutely stellar.

Understatement of the year that DBD is not horrible, he's anything but. He looks incredible in the ring and he is only just getting started (in the WWE universe I mean). Look for an extended run from Danielson. And look for the Miz to cash in his MITB briefcase tonight, successfully, against a dehabilitated and incapacitated Randy Orton.

When he won against the miz I was literally jumping up and down on my feet estatic! I was so excited and i hope he keeps this belt for a long time and actually defends it! The miz will be walking out of NOC without his briefcase and United States title but with a well deserved WWE title around his waist

Well in my predictions i predicted Bryan beating The miz....Now the rest of the night i had predicted Jericho winning the title, Miz coming down to cash in his briefcase, then Brayn comes down and costs the miz the briefacase too..just to top off the night

Maybe see a face/face US title match....Brayn/Morrison?

fucking stupid wwe, give a rookie whos only been in wwe for not long enough to make an impact, fucking stupid daniel bryan, i hate him

Good Lord look at you rant like a petty child. DB is very talented and it's pretty silly that you hate a wrestler because he's only been with the company for such a short time. Remember when he was let go? The WWE Universe was up in arms over it. The WWE needs Bryan. He shakes up the US title and we'll get to see some great wrestling now that he holds the title.

Holy Jesus! DB is talented yes but as far as WWE NEEDING him......I dont think that is the case....DB is highly overrated and bland as hell as a character.....the US Title will be as high as he will go in the E as he doesn't fit Vince's ideal of a heav yweight champion. So while I do admit he is talented, the biggest place that Daniel Bryan is "over" is here on the internet.

And why the hell is he always smiling?

i said it once n im gonna say it a million more times, the wwe boooking SUCKS... daniel bryan what a joke.. this guy just SUCKS, he cant draw rating n his cinderella doesnt impress me at all... bring back doink the clown since its pg i would rather see him with the US belt..

I think his win has more to do with the Miz and MITB, but thats a different story for another day.

That is exactly why Brian won it, besides possibly trying to give bryan some credibility, to be able to brag that he beat the WWE champion, but i about 90% garantee that the rivalry is done. By the end of tonight, everyone will be yelling, IM THE MIZ....AND IM WWE CHAMPION.

Sorry for the rant, and I do believe daniel will be able to give some cred back to the mid card title. He will also hopefully be able to cary on some worth wile matches, and will go against Kofi hopefully, to unify the titles, and be the sole midcard champion, id also like to see him defend it against a returning skip sheffield, or justin gabriel.

Yay! Brian did it. Big whoop. Reminds me of '98 when The Rock dropped the IC title to HHH only to go on to win the World Title. Enjoy your mid-card title and you future as the next Benoit minus the double murder/suicide, hopefully.

He is a great wrestler but we all know that isn't enough to make it up north. Bland doesn't equal money.

All this does is allow Miz to focus on being the next WWE champ.

Signed, Michael Cole. Lol

he sucks, he cant wrestle, and i dont care if the whole wwe universe loves him, he didnt deserve to win

He can't wrestle? Are you f*cking crazy? He might be the best wrestler in the WWE for god sakes.

Now, i'm glad Bryan got the win as i'm a huge fan of his. I'm also a big fan of the Miz and so this was a win-win. Bryan gets a belt and will now slowly progress into the main event, and now Miz drops the belt and can focus on the MITB. It would have made a ton of sense to have Miz cash the MITB in though. He lost the US title, and instead he could win the WWE title after a grueling six pack challenge. Miz can cut a promo how it was a night for champions, and how even though Bryan beat him, him being world champion just shows how much better he is than Bryan.

Also, I hope WWE really gets to show what talent Danielson has. He hasn't really been able to show just how good of a technical wrestler he is, we all just know it by now because its a reputation of his.

I am literally BAFFLED that someone would even have the nerves....no,the BALLS to say Daniel Bryan can't wrestle.....it almost makes me want to commit crimes.

Your obviously someone who didn't even know about this guy until he was on NXT, the fact is that Daniel Bryan is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. He's been Wrestling great matches around the world longer than The Miz has even been apart of the WWE.

I'm no Miz Hater, but Bryan deserved this win in my honest opinion.

Im sorry i Love the Miz "no homo" but losing to the piece of shit daniel bryan makes him look weak..wat kind of push is this it stinks. So here's what i actually think or "hope", they are pushing the miz to eventually be a "complete" wrestler by having him face that idiot bryan to obviously push his new submission "whatever that is" and thats how he will eventually beat bryan! AFTER HE LEARNS A SUBMISSION HE TRULY WILL BE AWESOME!!!! then the wwe title will also be his!

As a fan of both I'm happy with the outcome. Hopefully they use Bryan to his full potential, and have him defend the title regularly. He'll get more experience in WWE's style. The title should gain a lot of prestige with regular defenses.
It also frees the Miz up to move towards the main event.

Lots of hate for Bryan tonigh huh?, on a side note, im really glad he won his first championship in the WWE, i hope the bookers keep the good work and make him a battle champion, the last thing we need is another Miz with a title as decoration.

I absolutely loved seeing Daniel Bryan winning the US title, it was the smart thing to do on every front.

And to all the people who are complaining about it making the Miz look weak, I couldn't disagree more, Alex Riley made some mistakes on the Miz's behalf and not only that the Miz controlled most of the match up working over Bryan's arm, the Miz looked pretty good in defeat and this loss will not hurt him one bit. Not only that this is the perfect time to put the Miz in the main event picture where he belongs. Saying this loss made the Miz look weak is like saying Bret Hart looked weak when he lost to the Bulldog at summerslam '92. All this means is that the Miz is going to become champion in the very near future. Just because you lose clean doesn't make you weak.

Say whatever you want about Daniel Bryans charisma and his so called lack of character, but he gets a great reaction from the crowd, much better than guys like R-Truth and John Morrison, and he's a phenomenal worker in the ring. Mid Card titles are often referred to as workhorse titles as they often put on the best matches, and in that respect Daniel Bryan makes a perfect US champion. Just think how much this guy can elevate the mid card because of his in ring work, he can make lackluster superstars look like gold in the ring. He doesn't have much character I'll admit, but he gets a good reaction from the fans and thats what matters.

Anyone who was actually shocked by this has definately got to share the drugs they are smoking. Of course Bryan won the U.S. title. I mean The Miz hadn't defended the title much, if at all, since becoming the MITB winner. It was time to take the title off of Miz so that Miz can move up to the next step in his career. I'm actually a bit surprised that the show didn't end with The Miz holding the WWE title after the 6-pack match. I'm sure there will be a rematch for the U.S. title possibly at HIAC because of the short turn around HIAC is only like 2 weeks away which is not much time to hype new fueds. I don't expect Miz to win the title back though, but perhaps after a "Hellatious" hell in a cell main event....whoever is WWE or World Champion might find themselves a victim of Awesomeness!!! I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

but dude how does this free up the miz for the main event..it doesnt this jus means that the miz will fight this fool again..UPSETTING! i jus hope he learns a submission cuz i believe thats wat WWE is pushing for the miz...
