Matt Sydal's ECW debut

Last night was another great match... Striker and Sydal made a 2 minutes match a good one, and that's difficult, it wasn't even close to be a squash match, and I have to say I love Sydal's in-ring skills.

I don't like Hardy for example, I think he doesn't have logic on his matches, he just jumps around and do high-flying maneuvers...

Sydal is different, he did what he did because it was logic... the standing moonsault for example...

I'm a very big fan of Sydal, I hope he gets drafted also as Kingston...

Well i have officially seen Sydal and I can say that I'm impressed. For a guy his size he's [retty damn good. He does all the cool cruiserweight moved with ease. He even did a sick ass Shooting Star Press (which I thought was outlawed). I can see him becoming a big part in ECW's success in the future. I don't think he would work on Raw. But Smackdown might be in the cards for him. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him.

I actually found myself not wanting to blink during the Stryker vs. Bourne match because I didn't wanna miss anything that Bourne could have pulled out of his ass. Very exciting wrestler, has some great aerial skills (that Shooting Star Press was absolutely gorgeous!). But I don't think a brand switch is needed just yet, ECW should suit him well for a few months where he can continue to improve. Plus I'm sure he'll get a few cameos on Smackdown or RAW when ECW is coupled with it.

As a cruiserweight myself I really enjoy the kind of cruiserweight action that Bourne performs. He makes the moves look easy to do and isn't sloppy at all.

ECW is the right place for him now, he's young, there's no need to rush. Maybe he can develop his inexistent mic skills a little more. And he's already receiving a push, since he started a feud with Mike Knox, Shelton Benjamin, and Kofi Kingston. Even the ECW champion doesn't have a feud, so it's really meaningful, lol.

About the name change,apparently they did it because WWE likes to own the names of their stars... well, they already have Matt Hardy and Matt Striker, so It wasn't a bad thing.

The guy has had two truly good matches, three at very best with his first of those three being a squash as of sorts. Lets wait before we place the future of the company on a guy who's (after all) debuting and competing in the 3rd ranked brand in the W.W.E.

Hes possibly one notch about your average T.N.A. talented Superstar, minus some of their Heavyweight/Main Eventers. Hes on par with Kofi Kingston and the likes of Shelton Benjamin, and maybe right under Rey Mysterio. (pushing it) I agree that hes way above Punk, but so is the opening pyro.

Again, hes got some great moves but I haven't heard him on the mic. So until the guy speaks, I don't consider him anything other than a midcarder that'll entertain me while I'm waiting for the real show to begin.

After finally getting a glimpse at ecw this weekend and seeing the amazing talent that is evan bourne I can only hope that they allow him to continue utulising his high flying skills and bring back a division with meaning to compete in. TNA was having so much success with their x division and I'm enjoying the world x cup but I hope wwe sees this as an area to potentially increase ratings by focusing on it.

I first saw Matt Sydal(Evan Bourne) in WSX, and I have to say that he was awesome there!

I have a feeling that he might not last long in WWE as he is a prretty small guy when compared to other WWE stars. Of course I know that there are other small guys in the WWE, but look how pushed they are(not very much). When was the last time we saw Spanky and London get airtime without jobbing?

I think Sydal(Bourne) should try to go to TNA where He can ROCK the X-division and show the world what he can truly do! I personally would love to see him in feuds with the likes of AJ Styles or MCMG's(either one would be a great feud).

What do you guys think? Am I wrong on this? I don't think so, but I'd like to see how many people agree with me..

Matt Sydal was already in TNA and he did nothing. they bought him in to job and was in the x division battle royal and lost. he was also in a vote that tna had to bring in a indi wrestler in but lost the votes. so if tna bought him in today it would be different but tna got so much stuff going on it would be a waste i think sydal in ecw is perfect.. he was the won the wwe called up to train floyed may weather so the wwe must see something in him. i do and if you get a chance find some of Matt Sydal's ring of honor and dragon gate matches that really showcases sydal.
