I wonder how many people would've believed a year ago Henry would over Orton clean for the world title. I certainly wouldn't have. After the dominating way Henry beat Orton he has to have a lengthy dominant reign. And can people stop complaining abut Orton never putting guys over. Sheamus, Miz, Swagger and Henry to name a few. Come on.
Just because Henry is the best he has ever been doesn't mean he deserves a title. I mean, anything is a step up from utter shit right?
Whats next a Goldust title reign? Regal perhaps? They have been around forever too so they must deserve the title right?
Watch the smackdown rating go down even more, why on earth does the wwe insist on having a terrible wrestler hold the 2nd best title, when there are so many better wrestlers?. i'd rather see spike dudley as champion

People are actually happy about this? Seriously? How quickly have you forgotten Kane's title reign, because that is near exactly the same as this.
Veteran monster heel gets the title, solely because he has been around forever and may be retiring soon, and goes on to have several worst match of the year candidates. Sound familiar, because that is what this will turn into.
I still fail to see any redeeming features in Henry. Sure, he is big and strong, so are about a million other people in the WWE, doesn't make them good (see: Mason Ryan, Skip Sheffield, The Great Kahli).
The bottom line is this, he cuts average promos that I struggle to understand (bigger is better or better is better?) he has matches ranging anywhere from horrid to (at best) decent and he plays a character that is about as overdone as anything in the WWE (Angry black guy/monster heel).
The only reason he is getting this title is because he has been in the WWE for 15 years, that is it. I guarantee if this was say his 5th year in the company he would not have won that title.

I'm sure Orton will get his rematch but I hope he loses so Sheamus can get his shot and so that he and Henry can reignite their feud. I'm actually glad Henry won the title (didn't think I'd ever say that). He's been on a tear with no signs of slowing down yet and I'm digging it.
