Lord Tensai's Push (Keep it all in here!!!!)

Cena has put Tensai over as a monster. Therefore, I would like to see him as a shogun warrior version of Kane. Tensai should interrupt matches and dominate wrestlers until someone stands up to him. That is where the epic matches can be made with Henry, Sheamus, or a returning Mysterio.

Tensai will take Henry's place as the guy who puts people in the Hall of Pain when Henry retires. Until then hes gonna just be building up. I can see him get some decent matches to slowly put him over but I doubt it will become relevant until maybe he goes after Punk for the belt. Then again I'm not sure if they would give Tensai the belt. He's not bad in the ring and this gimmick is actually pretty interesting to me.

It could be a great way to throw Punk over though especially considering this less than stellar feud with Jericho.

The Fans are already doing this but it needs to catch on a little more.

The Fans need to just troll him for kicks, "Allllllbert....Alllllbert" In a really bored tone. lol

He just needs more time I think. An ambush on Punk in the near future would probably help him out quite a bit and when Punk beats him in a rematch it will blast Punk back up close to where he was at the tail end of last years summer(i may be stretching this).

it really is kinda amazing how dead the crowd is during Tensai's match. **Since the whole Albert chant is a bit played out at this point ... why don't the fans chant BORING?

with the exception of the Cena match, all Tensai's matches have been more or less gone the same way move for move **although vs R-Truth, this guy got in a bit more offense than usual, and the finish was pinfall via the Claw .. oppose to TKO

**I know Punk's feud vs Jericho has disappointed some fans, but if that's the case how will it help Punk going from a feud with Jericho ... who might not be the BEST heel, but he can at least make the crowd give a damn

to Lord Tensai ... a Superstar that almost every match seems to put the crowd to sleep. I don't think Tensai is necessarily bad in the ring, but if you can't even get the crowd up for your matches, I dunno what to say. But IMO Tensai does need more time

I didn't watch WWE much when he was Albert/A-Train, but even now I still don't see Lord Tensai, I still see Albert with a bunch of Hiragana and Katakana painted on him that rubs off after about two minutes.

His offense has been limited because his matches have been short. His wins over jobbers are meaningless, and he didn't get much of a push from defeating Cena because of outside interference. Granted, he has talent and only time will tell, but I think he should have stayed in Japan. I think he'll buried in a few months and will be forgotten not long after.

I agree that the Tensai gimmick is floundering a little bit because of the "Albert" chants. Here's something quick and easy the WWE could do to get the crowd more into his act. Have him acknowledge the chants instead of ignoring them.

Give Tensai a promo where he says something along the lines of this, "I am Lord Tensai. Albert died with my American heritage. All of you fans who chant Albert are disrespecting me and the Japanese culture, and the more you do it the more pain I will inflict on your heroes."

Then when Tensai is in the ring and the fans are chanting "Albert" at him have him react by turning up the intensity and really get aggressive with his opponent. This will either get the fans and engaged because they know the chants bother him, which would cause them to chant louder and louder. Or will kill the chants because the fans will feel responsible for the babyfaces' pain.

What do you guys think?

The gimmick is not the problem, they have just used the wrong guy to play the gimmick. They needed a real dynamic powerhouse like a lesnar type, that can play the gimmick. Look when you saw lesnar in 2002, his power and style straight away got him over with the crowd, because he looked terrifying. And albert's problem is? he has not changed anything, he still uses the same annoying noises, same moves of doom and not many can take him serious enough. Nothing has changed, the only thing changed about albert is? he has been repackaged. They have just made a big mistake using albert, and most of the WWE crowd have grown up with the back-end of the ruthless aggression era, and they know who he is. The tensai character would have been great with a different wrestler

Is it wrong I just think he is gross and digusting looking.. not just fat, b/c I can deal with that (i.e. Rakishi).. but the character and him in general just is a huge turn off for me. It's more visceral than anything. I think the character gimmick is stupid and I don't know what they were thinking bringing him back. And the green acid crap? wth. Get over it.

Love it, and have from the beginning. Monster heel and foreign heel rolled into one, with a guy who can cut promos in english as well. Its the best of every world that you could ask for, love everything about it.
