On the Memorial Day edition of Monday Night Raw, Mr. McMahon made a startling announcement. In an act of penance for the actions of former General Manager William Regal, the WWE Chairman has agreed to start giving out his own money to lucky Raw fans each week. Though he did let slip that he would be giving away a full $1 million, Mr. McMahon’s lips were sealed on further details until next week on Raw. What will the Chairman require of Raw fans to get their hands on his money?

The million-dollar giveaway wasn’t the only announcement Mr. McMahon made on Monday night, though. With change in the air, the Chairman decided that it was time for a WWE Draft in just four short weeks. In the past, sports-entertainment’s foundation has been rocked by the Draft that includes all Superstars, Divas and announcers from all brands. Exactly when will the Draft take place, and what will it mean for your favorite WWE Superstars?

Though the biggest shocks of the night came with Mr. McMahon’s dual announcements, the show opened with a confrontation that was just as electrifying. WWE Champion Triple H faced off with his One Night Stand opponent, Randy Orton in a near-physical verbal confrontation. The words between the former Evolution allies were heated, and displayed the differing philosophies of the two men. The two did agree on one thing though. When they meet on Sunday night in their Last Man Standing Match, one of them will be left little more than a quivering mass on the mat at the San Diego Sports Arena. But which will be the one left behind, and which will leave as WWE Champion?

That wasn’t the only pre-One Night Stand confrontation however, as John Cena & Jeff Hardy teamed up to take on their nemeses JBL & Umaga, respectively. The self-proclaimed “wrestling god” picked up the win by pinning Hardy, but this is far from the last we’ve seen of these rivalries. This Sunday night, at One Night Stand, we’ll see Cena battle the Longhorn Loudmouth in a First Blood Match, and Jeff Hardy take on the Samoan Bulldozer in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Sunday is the one night of the year where WWE goes Extreme, but how will those extreme stipulations take their toll on four of sports-entertainment’s most aggressive and fearless athletes?

Another One Night Stand match was announced on Monday as well. For weeks, former allies Beth Phoenix and Melina have been battling it out. Now, at One Night Stand, they’ll have a chance to settle their rivalry inside the ring. There’s much more at stake than a loss, however, since this is an “I Quit” Match. Before a winner can be declared, the loser must say the words “I Quit” into a microphone. These are words that when said publicly can decimate a competitor's pride, and permanently scar their career. Which of these former WWE Women’s Champions will be forced to submit and admit their defeat?

For more than five months, the tag team of second-generation Superstar Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly has reigned as the World Tag Team Champions, and this past Monday they maintained their titles against Paul London & Brian Kendrick. However, WWE Legend “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase arrived shortly afterward to issue a warning to Rhodes & Holly. With the introduction of a third-generation Superstar, DiBiase’s own son, Ted DiBiase, the champions were put on notice that their days were numbered. In the wake of this news, when can we expect to see these two sports-entertainment legacies collide, and after the collision, who will be left holding the World Tag Team Championship?

Though the upcoming match between Santino Marella and Cousin Sal from Jimmy Kimmel Live! is set to take place on next week’s SmackDown, it would have been an off-week if we didn’t hear anything from the Braggadocios Italian Superstar. As Marella explained exclusively on WWE Mobile on AT&T, Santino has something in-store for Sal and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. What further disrespect can Santino heap on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! star and the WWE Hall of Famer?

For the answers to all these questions, be sure to tune into WWE Monday Night Raw at 9/8 CT on USA Network. Also, make sure to be there for the one night where WWE goes Extreme: One Night Stand, this Sunday night at 8/7 CT, live on pay-per-view!

No basketball Monday, so I'll probably check out Raw this week. Hopefully, WWE thinks with that lame announcent from last week they'll get some serious ratings, and in which case, they'll do something worth watching. They can put on a good show when they want to, but unfortunately for us fans, they always need a reason to do so. They don't try to put the best possible product on every week like they use to and should do. But like I said, hopefully they think enough people will be tuning in to actually put on a decent show.

Will they even start building any new story lines, if there is a possibility of some big names being moved to another brand, or other big names being brought in. If not, we are going to have some boring Raws until the draft. Maybe they could have Kennedy go over some big names on Raw, get drafted to Smackdown, and win the World Title, just for the heck of it.

I'll be there too. After watching the PPV, I'm not too sure what to expect, but at least i have pretty good tickets.
