Live Discussion: Raw 3/2/09

Did anyone else forget there was such a thing as a Tag Team title?

The champs have been wrestling on Smackdown against their tag champs. They have had some good matches actually. There will probably be a unification match for the tag titles at WM

I don't want Cena winning it at WM, i don't like these guys winning the titles 100times, it
makes the reigns of Hogan, Savage, and Hart look like nothing. I wouldn't mind seeing Show get the strap

back to an older comment.

Watts was the one that banned moves from the top rope and got in trouble for racist comments I believe.

Yeah, but during his time, guys were getting hurt too much cuz guys were trying to do too many new things witout protecting the other guy. So it was understandable. I won't defend the racial stuff though.

he is on WWE 24/7 Legends: Soul Wrestlers, and talks about how he supported black wrestlers in the industry. After watching that I don't think he's racist

The WWE wouldn't put him on the panel if they thought he was racist

Wow, this episode was utter shit. Every match sucked tonight, the HHH/Orton promo was SO bland compared to what it should've been, and even skipping through all the recaps (I recorded the show and watched it midway through while it was still going on) STILL made me feel like I was sitting through 4+ hours of crap because of the poor quality.

Everything about tonight's show blew. What a momentum killer.

From what I can find he said he had no issue with a restaurant owner denying service to black patrons. That's just bad no matter what.

He brought in Erik Watts. That is unforgivable.

Semi agree with NoFate. It just was there. HHH and Orton was anti-climactic and while I know Show and Edge won't happen, it makes little sense.

Nope. Its what I said. It will be Big Show and Edge. Whoever wins, will lose to the winner of MITB match, and that will be John Cena. Just remember, I said it here 1st.

John Cena in the MITB? And Winning it nonetheless? I swear, if THAT shit happens, I will burn down Reliant Stadium that night.

Trips/Orton promo was just fine, nothing wrong with it at all, it accomplished exactly what it was meant to accomplish and was driven by pure emotion which is what the whole feud is built around this time

The HHH/Orton promo to me felt 5 minutes too long. HHH isn't a good enough actor and he's literally in the best position to be acting, as that literally is his wife who literally did get an RKO from a guy that he literally does have backstage issues with. But yet, it was just another typical HHH promo. He puts down the guy, calls him a coward, says he'll beat him, and in between all that time, he just stares and takes tons of pauses.

Also, was that supposed to be emphatic when he said "That was business, but this is personal"? I'm sorry, I laughed my ass off, which is not what WWE wanted me to do. No shit this is personal. You and Orton have only said it like 6 times already. How many times can you say "this is personal"? C'mon. And for god's sake, stop running the fucking repetitive promos already. I've seen Vince get kicked in the head more times in my life than I've signed my damn name.

Hearing that ECW is gonna have Mark Henry or Santino qualify for the MITB tomorrow puts me in an even worse mood. What a waste of a position for EITHER of them to get in there.

And wasn't JBL supposed to come out tonight and do something? Didn't they run that on the website or something? He'd come out and "address his WrestleMania goals" or whatever?

If ECW and Smackdown suck this bad this week...yeesh...

Let's not freak out about Show being the #1 contender yet. It may not make sense right now, but it very well could. Let's be smart IWC people, eh?

What would you have liked Trips to do, NoFate? How else is a man who can't physically harm his future opponent react in such a situation? I mean, I wasn't thrilled by it...but it was far from as bad as you are making it out to be.

NoFate, I love you... but you should watch it.

This is one thing I have to agree with. Really? What a waste of a spot.

I was gonna read the spoiler, but then I decided either way it'll be a terrible choice.
