He won it because Jeff Hardy fucked up. That's the only reason. MVP was feuding with Hardy, they had plans for Y2J, they can't give it to somebody like Carlito, Morrison or Shelton.

personally i think this could be one of those ppvs that just shocks people to be quite good...i always enjoy ppv cage matches...think their wasted on tv because they done seem to do that much in them...
and apparently Jeff vs MVP is gonna be added which could be a very good match...
