ITS THE UFC 118 LD - YALL BETTER PAY YO ALEXTRIC BILL

Yea I can sense something's wrong with BJ. There's definately something wrong with him mentally.

Edit: sometimes Joe can overly hype a fighter. this is a perfect example of that.

LOL I loved Edgars corner

"Fuck them, do NOT let them talk shit after this, DO NOT LET THEM TALK SHIT AFTER THIS, DO NOT GIVE HIM ANYTHING"

epic

BJ wtf man?? What is the excuse this time? Fucker fought like a Zombie.

I can see if BJ fought and lost, but dude didn't even fight!!

Whatever at least we know where BJ is at. Totally unmotivated. Props to Frankie. I really underestimated him, and congrats to him. Hes a great fighter.

Edgar did show that he has more than just a pitter-patter annoying fly in the room fighting style. He used his speed and angles extremely well and I think all of that just stifled BJ.

Well hopefully they can find a great title shot to main event over Edgar/Maynard 2 because there is no way that sells.

Haven't read through the thread yet, but just wanted to say that I thought this was one of the worst UFC shows of the year so far. I hate to say that because I know Guy was in attendence (and I hope he had a blast), but man... outside of Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis and Joe Lauzon vs. Gabe Ruediger... I didn't enjoy this show at all. Not even Couture's domination over Toney was completely satisfying for me.

Of course, BJ Penn fucking... goddamn, I don't even know what to say. But yeah... BJ's performance has a lot to do with why I'm so upset right now. Fuck.

The UFC's Lightweight Division is in a sad state right now when Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard are the top 2 Lightweights in the company. That fight's going to be terrible, just like most of their fights end up being. Hopefully Takanori Gomi can go on and win his next fight, then take the title away from whatever scrub has it by the time he gets a shot at it (which, trust me, he would destroy either of those two).

I can't believe people seem surprised at how BJ Penn fought. What he did tonight is what has always been the knock on him, that he just doesn't take his MMA seriously enough.

At the end of the day, Penn is an immensely talented fighter, who only "likes" the competition, not loves it.
