Kurt Angle screws Vince

Like I said, I don't see why Kurt Angle was frusturated with the WWE. He always got a good push.

I agree...he goes from wrestling the likes of RVD, , Randy Orton, HBK and Sabu to who? Jarrett? Scott Steiner? Rhyno?? Gimme a break

recently i mean. he has been pushed so hard in the past must be frustrated not to be pushed. also generally he gets a good push after losing his title anyway but not on this occasion

another great point by jerry u deserve an award for best point maker of the night i know seriously he seriously had a match against hbk in which i think is the greatest match of thw 2000 era him and randy had great matches rvd and him were awesome together him and taker were fantatsic and ppl are saying this is better for him they r sadly mistaken

he didnt get the push because he had to take time off for his ribs which he didnt do so he could feud with mark henry which was a blow and then had to go to ecw

I dont think Kurt gives a damn who he is wrestling as long as the bright lights are on him and he is the star

exactly he complained because he wasnt in the spotlight he was complaongin about not being in the main event of summerslam not being on ecw enough he was caring too much about how he was doing he wasnt giving a damn which he should be doing right now

kurt really needed to set things straight before he went back to anything physical

Well i do understand that...if I was head of WWE Angle would be in the main event in every PPV I put on...or at least a top quality match people will be talking about weeks after the PPV airs

ld too but like i said he was to focused on the fame and fortune then realizing whats going on with his body and his family he needed to wprk on stuff before anything else but working to the point where ur gonna die is pretty darn bad

but there is a point when u have to draw the line and say that was the straw that broke the camels back and just stop for a while no duh he was passionate hes great a legend but doing what he did is totally wrong

True? or False? I don't know, but this is where I got my info from. Well after reading it again Vince doesn't say it, but its mention a couple of times.

From the PWTorch newsletter:

Dave Hawk and Kurt Angle met with WWE officials last Friday morning, and Angle was told that he needed to get help for his prescription painkiller addictions. They told him to go to rehab and then return to the company once he was clean, which is something they've done for tons of other men throughout the years. Angle, despite the story that was weaved on WWE.com and in the press releases, does not believe he has an issue with painkillers, and so he flat-out refused to go to rehab or seek any kind of help whatsoever.

Vince McMahon then fired him. It was not a release, nor a mutual agreement. Angle refused to get treatment for his illness, so Vince was left with the only real option the company had at that point, which was to fire him. Whether it was to send a message or to protect the interests of the company or Angle himself, the end result is that Angle was released from his job. His no-compete clause remains in effect and will expire near the end of November.

Kurt Angle is not going to rehab, and he's not going home to let his body heal up. He'll probably go rest for three months or so, because at that point his no compete clause expires and WWE officials expect him to sign a contract with TNA. In fact, WWE officials actually encourage him to go to TNA, because he'll be working a much more limited scheduled, and the lack of house show tours will allow him to greatly rest up between shows. He'll make $500,000 or so per year to wrestle 5 times per month, and WWE sources believe that he can get his pain levels back down to a manageable level by working for the smaller promotion. There are also those in WWE that believe that Vince McMahon actually WANTS Angle to go and work for TNA, because he's apparently realized in this very late mid-life crisis he's currently enduring that he's a much better businessman and much more creatively inclined when he actually has competition to try and defeat. By signing Angle and perhaps Bill Goldberg, TNA would earn themselves a bigger place on the map and could perhaps instantly jump to that two-hour timeslot they so desire.

My TNA source tells me that they're a bit hesitant to sign Kurt, but that it's already being discussed internally. They realize that if they bring in the incredibly damaged Angle, they're going to need built-in safeties in his contract to help him avoid getting to the point he was at near the end of his WWE run. If TNA does eventually tour, Kurt Angle will likely not be on a majority of those house shows and instead will stick to the television shows and pay per view events. Since he'll instantly be the biggest star in the company, they will be able to market him as a special attraction much the way WWE does with Undertaker, thereby giving him more time to heal, reduce his addictive need for painkillers, and perhaps extend his career (and his life) by many years.

Some have speculated that Angle will go to Japan, but that's not even a remote possibility at this point. In order to make big money in Japan, you have to do shoots and fight with Pride or K1, and Angle will do neither of those. There's a small chance that New Japan or another of the big three major promotions will overpay for his services, but sources close to the situation say they don't see it happening because the rigors of a months-long Japanese tour will kill him even faster than the WWE schedule was. In all likelihood, we'll see Kurt Angle make his TNA debut sometime around November 27, a few weeks after his WWE no-compete clause expires- got this from another thread
Not sure if its true though

I can't believe Kurt Angle is saying thank you to TNA for saving his life.

ha ha kurt couldnt get clean so he threw away a chance at coming back to the wwe kurt couldnt wait

i bet he pulls a jeff hardy gone on drugs in tna gets borde and decides that being clean and in the wwe is better
WOW lol

I hear that, personally the dude is a fool. I hate how everybody is getting hyped over this, we all know TNA sqaunders everything ever handed to them. You know that once Angles pill popping becomes a issue he will just becomes a Transitional Champion so Jarrett can try to surpass every other NWA Champion in title Reigns. Christian, Raven, Rhyno, Ron Killings, their bullshit and hype just died on the vine.

I mean, I'll admit that Kurt was doing nothing in The WWE at the time of his release, they pretty much wrote him off after Wrestlemania, stuck him in ECW instead of having him chase Rey. Regardless if it was because of his drug problem, and health issues. But TNA? They are just as bad as WWE as far as Political Bullshit goes, and to be honest I would rather be held down by Triple H in the WWE and get a bigger paycheck, then be held down by a plank of wood for a pay cut. I mean at least Trips has talent and charisma, Jarrett is some what talented, but has ZERO Charisma.

But being held down by Triple H was a few years ago. Being held down by the main event talent (?) of the WWE right now is far far worse.

True Angle would get a bigger check in Stamford, but he had to wrestle more dates per month for it, which wasn't conducive to his overall health. This is probably the main catalyst for why he went there. The WWE road schedule tore his body up. Hopefully, his body and his addiction were exaggerated. I love watching the guy wrestle and am interested to see what he does in TNA, but if it means sacrificing his health, then no way. Retire him. No amount of in-ring entertainment is worth a human life.

i can see why you guys would be upset by this, it was a bit sudden.
but look at it from Kurts POV.
a lot of people have boasted about this, but with Angle, there’s really nothing left for him to do in WWE. he's fought EVERYONE. at least everyone worth fighting. he's won just about every title. he's been involved in just about every conceivable storyline.
apparently all that was left for him was to shuffle him around to add name value to a new product in ECW, and even then, they weren’t really doing anything with him but letting him beat Justin Credible (whoop whoop!)

the guy probably wants to try something new for a change.
remember, WWE didn’t make Kurt Angle. he won Gold long before he worked for them.

Maybe Vince bought out TNA!

actually Kurt just screwed Vince and the company that made him. He must've been really pissed about the move to ECW.
he wasn't pissed about going to ecw,he loved being shipped to ecw, what he was pissed about was that vince didnt build ecw around kurt angle
