Food for thought: If WWE is still paying the same bonuses for PPVs (which I believe they are, after some confusion about what to do), then aren't they paying more out of pocket to the wrestlers for far less return per month with these multiple PPVs?

At Unforgiven 98, Austin v Dude Love for the belt...

Austin stunners Foley, then slaps the mat 3x with his own hand and the match is over, music plays, Austin celebrates etc. JR and King seem to have no problem with this?

I know Stone Cold had taken out the ref, but how many other matches have a guy going for a pin and not being able to get it as there's no ref to count the fall. I've never seen a guy count his own pin fall before?

It's wrestling. People go all insane over anything. Hogan was a master at it.

True story: WCW actually had an episode of Nitro with no referees so the wrestlers had to call their own falls.

I thought Austin was DQ'd.

He was, leading to the big deal at Over the Edge.

Stardust vs. Arrow, match of the year?

Oh I think so. If it leads to Felicity being around, things are far better.

Random thought...

KO is still very much on NXT and hopefully tonight was a preview one-off to showcase him...
So, I was thinking, with MitB PPV next, should they have KO be a surprise entrant in the MitB and have actually win it, and maybe, cash-in on Brock Lesnar himself at SummerSlam whilst still an active member of NXT and NXT Champion?

That's WAY too much of a jump this early. Lesnar is on a different tier than everyone else and you don't want to hot shot Owens to a level he isn't ready for.

Are there any stories involving a wrestler taking such a hard landing during a spot where the impact caused them to crap in their trunks? They take some pretty hard bumps that could jar up a hilarious bodily reaction.

Lots of folks seem to think KO could fill the void left by CM Punk. From a character standpoint, I think that's a good comparison. You?

Also, how the fuck do you get the title off of KO in NXT now? He just beat Cena clean. Who is near that level in NXT?

That's actually very good.

I saw this the other day and liked it a lot: a lumberjack match. Regal, Sami, Itami, maybe even Cena at ringside. Have Owens take one heck of a beating, then have him claim that he is moving on to bigger things.

Or, if you want to be REALLY bold, have him get into the WWE World Title picture and hand over the NXT Title to the #1 contender because he knows he's better than everyone in NXT and wants to really give his family the best life possible. It's what Austin did in 1997 with the Intercontinental Title and could be excellent if done right.
