Last RAW, the Authority repeatedly said that Reigns and Orton were at the back of the line for a shot at the WWE WHC.

Did they miss a trick by not putting Reign/both guys into the IC title running for EC to emphasize that. I'd say Reigns being truly "put back" would be a great way to continue his slow reset post-Mania 31.

Nah as they'll be back near the top soon enough. You don't want to put too many of your legit made men in the midcard. Rollins and the other young main eventers need to rub elbows with people like Orton, who the fans accept as a top guy.

Did WWE guys who came to WCW before Hogan really make an impact? Guys like Rude, Davey Boy Smith, etc...

Edit: Also, when's the next podcast coming out? Haven't seen you promote them on your site in a while, I think.

What woudl you say Bulldog's best era was? 92 IC belt or 96/97 European belt/Hart Foundation shtick?

Agreed. I had a debate with someone at work about this today. People forget that aside from his Wembley win 92 was not good for Bulldog.

Does your knowledge of wrestling lore extend back as far as 1980, KayBee?

Seeing Larry Zbyszko at the 2015 HOF ceremony made me think of his feud with Bruno Sammartino 35 years ago. I've read that it was a highly effective program, largely because of the suspicion that much of it involved true hard feelings on the part of both men. If so, was Bruno really trying to "hold Larry down" as Zbyszko claimed, or was it strictly part of the act? Was Bruno actually a mentor to Larry, or was that all storyline Or was it not Bruno at all, but the WWWF braintrust who initiated the feud?

One reason I thought it might be a shoot was because Zbyszko left WWWF not long after the feud.....and never came back......and in all the years before the HOF, we scarcely heard his name mentioned by WWWF/WWF/WWE; I figured he was persona non grata.

Was it real or was it Memorex?

Between the death of ECW & WCW and the founding of TNA/ROH, who were the biggest indie outfits in North America from 2001 - 2002? Besides WWA and IWA Mid South, that is.

It was all a work. Zbyszko (allegedly) left due to not wanting to be pushed down the card after the feud. There had even been some talk of a brief World Title run for him. He didn't come back because he was entrenched into the AWA by marrying Verne Gagne's daughter. Then he got a good spot in WCW and became a commentator so there wasn't much of a reason to come back.

There really isn't much else to pick from. Uhh........no OVW was developmental.......dang there really isn't much is there? I can't believe I'm saying this but I guess the XWF.

Recently I watched Payback and read your review about it KB, and I gotta ask you, don't you think that Rusev was overselling? I mean he couldn't speak because Cena hit him with a laptop just to name ONE example.

Why was 1999 so crappy? (Including ECW, WCW, and WWE)

Putting entertainment over wrestling.

Nah I thought that was fine. He might have been in such shock that he couldn't speak.

The story I have heard is that Austin did not want to/didn't think he should drop the title to HHH at SummerSlam 99 so that's why they added Mankind as Austin had no issue dropping the title to him.

Is that true? Is there more to the story?
