Absolutely not.

Plain and simple, Kane had a little fun on Raw. This could even be a ploy by creative to set up Kane turning on his partners at Wrestlemania and returning to the evil persona.

I do not think this was a sad moment, as berlinbrawler stated. I also do not believe that it does a damn thing to weaken his credibility, as stated by the same berlinbrawler.

What is sad is that you are letting 20 seconds (thanks slyfox) shape your entire perception of a guy that has been busting his ass and sacrificing for 20+ years.

Kane is a team player.

Look at Kanes career, people thought he would never come back from the train wreck that was his unmasking, they thought he would never come back from being involved in the Katie Vick angle, as someone has mentioned there was the stuff he did with the Spinaroonie and the Boogeyman

The great thing about playing a "mental" character is often in real life mental people seem normal and fun loving before going onto kill someone, thats why when he eventually goes back to trying to torture people everyone will just be like "oh hey, Kanes gone mental again, awesome" and then they will forget the silly things he does now

No one will think of this when he goes crazy again. I remember when kane would come out and chokeslam you 3 times and leave. I remember when kane beat austin to become wwe champion. If he talks about the hulkamaniacs or the kanenites it won't matter. Kane is a veteran. I always felt like he prefers to put everyone over. He is a great big man.

You do understand that wrestling has bookers right? They don't just go out there and do whatever they want, Vince would never allow that to happen and if it did they'd more then likely be fired the next day.

Kane was told to go out there and do that air trumpet it's not Kane taking it upon himself to do whatever he wishes...... Plus if you really want to get in depth with this, Kane, will always be nothing more then Isaac Yankeem DDS the insane dentist, if he can over come that and being Fake Diesel.. He will be able to bounce back from Monday Night Raw's episode. Kane has always done everything that has been asked of him.... Katie Vick ring any bells??? Read some wrestling history before you post these threads, you obviously haven't seen Kane through the years.

Kane has always been that way and always will be. Even when Kane wasn't booked face by wwe and was still booked as a heel the crowd cheered him because Kane is a popular guy, the moment his feud with Edge ended he started getting cheers.... even when he was clearly playing the heel. The WWE decide Kane is no longer gathering heat so lets put him back on the face path, it logical, shows continuity because Kane has been known to make swings in the past.... this is the sort of swing Kane has been making since WAAAAAY back in 1998/99 where h'd appear to be face one moment then heel the next

I admit that the air trumpet thing was beyond stupid, but career suicide? No way. One 5 second spot of stupidity is not going to kill the Big Red Machine. As others have already said, he's had to do far worse things over the years.

Kane and The Rock are two of my favorite wrestlers of all time so I have some feelings about this. I was possibly the happiest WWE viewer when Kane won the World Heavyweight Title then proceeded to beat Undertaker 3 times in a row. Even though he went down a little by being made a fool of by Edge I was still happy he was at least still World Heavyweight Champion and in the Main Event picture. Now a couple of months later he's back to where he was before that promo and that's mid to upper mid card guy who is putting younger talent over while still winning more often times then being pinned or submitting. I am really disappointed about this.

Being the Huge Kane fan I am I absolutely loved it when won the WHC and then beat the Taker in 3 PPV's in a row, I was however really disappointed at that whole edge program. They had just made him look like the Monster Champion of the WWE by taking out the Taker then have him run around chasing edge like a school girl.
We I saw the spot on raw it did make me shake my head but giggle in the same respect as I know Kane has always been like that and his moods will swing that's what makes him such a good psychopath. I think the WWE writers are stuck coming up a good story line for him, but what ever happens over then next month or so I can see Kane loosing it again some how and go on a rampage and destroy all in sight. Like others have said once this happens anything silly he has done will be forgotten like it was the other times.
I really want to see them come up with a real good story line and come up with some sort of reason to have him roaming around RAW and SD destroying everyone..
I do like Kane better when he's being the Psychotic ass kicking machine that stops for nothing and no one.

Don't worry guys. Our big red psychopath usually picks up steam in the summer. I expect to see him and Big Show in a big tag team title feud at SS or he'll face Christian or Del Rio for the WHC on a pay per view.

Simplest way to make a good Kane storyline, and it's pretty hard to mess it up ..

Kane and Big Show are tag champs for quite some time. Kane turns, and destroys Show around Summerslam. And I mean have Kane really lose it, have him rampage destroying the set and smashing things up backstage, attacking anyone that gets in his way.

Have this continue for a while with faces and heels getting demolished as well as several more backstage things until a notable Babyface steps in to try and halt the big red monster. In this fued have Kane bring up his childhood in stages and completely lose his mind/have a psycotic break and eventually kidnap the babyface taking him to a house and keeping them hostage. Have the Babyface escape and struggle eventually and accidentally setting fire to the house. The Babyface escapes but Kane is left in the building, seemingly dead.

the Babyface goes on to have a good run getting an EC spot. However during the match a segment shows with Babyfaces locker and car on fire . The Pyro/red lights go on, then all lights are off and the Babyface is getting pinned 1-2-3 but Kane doesn't show.

Have Kane set fire to more of the Babyfaces things offscreen during the Babyfaces matches , often costing them a victory. Eventually the Babyface will challenge Kane to a match at the grandest stage of them all. Wrestlemania, where we see new Kane for the first time, wearing his mask. Have the match be a buried alive/casket match where Kane wins, setting fire to the casket and seemingly vanquishing the babyface putting them out of action.

Kane then continues as a merciless pyscho from that point, in mask, so when Glenn Jacobs retires , someone else can don the mask and keep the 'Kane' character alive (if anyone saw Ruben De Jong he'd fit perfectly as Kane mark II).

its the kid thing, or else kane would never have been made to do that, end of story. kane is a face, but he can be easily turned heel. infact, kane is a odd one, he is always jumping back and forth from being a heel to a face and then a heel then face.
kanes career is winding down now, i dont expect to see him around for much longer, so he wants to have some fun so im good with that. i would love to see him in his jumpsuit with his mask and just make one last chain of destruction in the wwe locker room, but whatever happens happens.
