Jeff Hardy: Legitimate Contender or One Time Wonder

I really dont see Jeff Hardy as a Top Tier Champion. I look at him and see Mid Carder, or Tag Team Champion. Im not saying I dont like him, but to put him at the top of the Company is a horrible choice, not from the fans view, but from the look of the company. With people like Jericho, JBL, Umaga, Orton, Cena, HHH, HBK, Kennedy in Raw, I dont really think Hardy is better than them. ON smackdown even with Edge, Undertaker, Batista, Henry, Khali, Finlay, Big Daddy V. These people look like they can beat Hardy into the ground. Im not taking anything away from Hardy, i like him, but he doesnt have the top tier champion look. Its like Chavo being the ECW champion, it doesnt fit to well. The difference is, that is ECW, the little leagues as opposed to Raw. I wouldnt mind seeing hardy on ECW though, against Punk, Morrison, or Chavo, that would be entertaining.

I'm still not sure yet on Jeff Hardy. I think he is just going to have to get a run with the title so and I think that will make or break him as far as being a legitimate main eventer goes.

I would've liked to see triple thread in Wrestlemania with Orton, Cena and Jeff. I think he has risen to the next level. I also considered him just a intercontinental and tag team champ but now I really think he has what it takes to be a champ and wrestle and entertain like a champ should.

i believe that jeff should be in the main event and should be champion and jeff vs hhh could be great if hhh doesn't treat him like a jobber like at armaggeddon. and when people say he has no mic skills i just dont get that. he is a new face behind the mic and is fresh. im bored with the same old people on the mic "cough" hhh "cough".

Jeff has proved that he can elevate himself to a main event level with his feud with Orton. Its too bad that they had set different Mania plans for the WWE Championship because Hardy would have probably gotten the belt if it were anytime besides the Road to Mania. However, Hardy will probably get the belt in the fall or the summer and he can prove his worth.

Jeff Hardy is the GOD of Wrestling and the TRUE King of Kings. He will win the WWE championship and attain immortality!!! He will become the greatest WWE Champion of all time. Greater than Bret, HBK, HHH, Rock, Austin, Orton, Cena, Foley, Flair, Hogan, Savage, etc. They are all *****ES to Jeff. They are not even a molecule's worth to Jeff. Jeff PWNS all of them and will PWN the entire WWE. Jeff is the one and only be all Supreme Being of the WWE. He will rule WWE forever.

One-time wonder... he has Great in-ring ability, but a true WWE-champion must also have SOME promo ability. Now, Matt Hardy is deserving of a Heavyweight title shot... will he get it, only time will tell. Jeff, he should be placed on ECW. There, he doesn't have glory hogs that are&can ALWAYS put over him. Plus, you don't need to have good promo ability, they had Lashley as champ ffs.

Meh I really think that his time came, and he blew it. Even though he lost his chance to be the champ he was still in serious contention for it. That chance I really think espically with guys like Cena coming back from injury and JBL going onto Raw, let alone possibly Big Show. I think Hardy really blew his chances. Do I think he'll ever be in the main event again? Yes, but it will not be him alone. It will have to be some sort of gimmick match involving about four other people. Jeff is? over with the fans, but that's about it. We all know how much WWE cares about that. Jeff on Raw will no longer be on the upper card. Sending him somewhere like ECW? That may be a different story, but that's for another thread I think.

I think he was a one time wonder,i wish he was a legitimate main eventer, but really i don' think we will ever get the chance to see because how many times could this guy get suspended. Besides that though i just think that on RAW he's gonna be overshadowed buy the big wigs. I mean i don't know about you guys but i can't see Hardy being anything more then just a transition champ and wwe hasen't even had him to do that yet.Just look at the names on RAW HHH,HBK,Jericho,Orton,Cena thats 5 right there that look like way more credible champs then Hardy.

Maybe in the future they will send him to smackdown. He could have some great fueds with the likes M.V.P,Edge,Morrison,Hell maybe even Punk. Plus i bet he would do wonders for the ratings over there.

If he's not jumping off of something, why do we care? He can take a massive beating and keep going, that's why.

I don't know about everyone else but i respect wrestler's who get slammed, spiked and busted open for the fans over and over. Forget who he's beaten, forget his title reigns. His promo work is below par, and as i said if he's not jumping off of something then im not interested in his wrestling ability. But we love Jeff for jumping off 20 ft ladders, being put through countless tables and taking 20 minute ass kickings from the likes of 'Taker and HHH and keeps on swinging, hell sometimes even winning.
Foley had 8 moves max, but he shed more blood and sacrificed more brain cells than most guys in wwe, and we loved him for it, and he was rewarded in kind, even if his title reigns were v. short. Anyone who gave ECW a chance back in the day love the originals regardless of whether they are pissed on every week now. Edge, Orton, the Hardys all have my respect for not being afraid to cripple or permenantly scar themselves just so we the fans get our $40 worth, regardless of their other abilities and should be rewarded with at least one title run.

The others I have mentioned have had the title, but they didn't leave the company or get busted for drugs (except Edge, but apparently not being on tv at the time means you don't lose your ME status w/ the company) so regardless of whether i think Jeff deserves another shot, WWE probably don't.

I think Jeff Hardy's suspension might be his undoing. He had all the momentum in the world going for him right before he was suspended. It's hard to tell if WWE will have that kind of faith in him again now that he's proven just how much of an unreliable person he really is. All in all, I think he had a great shot at being WWE Champion by the end of the year, but I have no idea where he stands now. I guess we'll just have to see when he gets back.
