It's time for Shelton to capture the ECW Title

Well if you've seen Shelton's performance this past week it just reinforces all that has been said here!

He came in good into the promo, getting the crowd with him but totally screwed up when Christian was up on stage with him. His match was good, other than an ackward tag to Christian.

His spot in the end, where he jumped on to the ladder almost went terribly wrong in two different occasions. First when he jumps of the ropes (he just looks like he hesitated) and when he lands (the ladder almost brakes).

I hope the match at TLC goes botch-free so we can have a really outstanding match

shelton is a great athlete and his mic skills are coming along at long last! His matches are decent and he's showing that he's working on it. The Ladder Match favors both Christian's and Shelton's specialties, so this match could really tear the house down at TLC. I think it's time he captures the ECW Championship. He's deserving of it.

Shelton Benjamin is entertaining, and there is no denying that he has improved on the mic in leaps and bounds in the last year or so. While I don't find him to be particularly great, I think he's a solid enough midcard champion, and he could certainly perform to a decent level as ECW Champion. I'd prefer it if Christian held onto the title for the time being though, as it allows him to be built up without really beating anyone good.

There is no denying that Shelton is a great athlete and can do a number of great things. He has also improved on the mic a little recently which is a good sign. Right now I think he is good enough to be ECW champion. I doubt he would be as good as Christian but i'm sure he would be okay and have a decent amount of matches as it whilst making others look good. I'm not that fond of him but I do see potential in him as champ so I believe soon enough he should become champion. I'd prefer Christian to stay it but he's destined for bigger and better things and Shelton would be a good candidate to take it from him.
