This match has potential. Albeit, I've never seen these two guys in the ring together, and I don't know if they have chemistry ( I watch ECW on and off). They seemingly will have good chemistry together, seeing as their styles is on the same level.

This match could have some well done, original spots with great wrestling. I'm looking forward to this match because it has potential to deliver.

Finally, a solid ECW Title match on PPV. Overall, i must give WWE tons of credit for making all 3 brands much better over the last few months. the obvious question is; how much time will they give them? some will say that Shelton will botch a move here and there, they won't get the good spots because of the tag team TLC, Shelton doesn't have the mic work to be considered a serious contender. To all of those issues, i say; i would rather watch shelton attempt something that noone else in the company has the balls or athletic ability to pull off, and come up missing one or two. think about these two with a ladder compared to the tag match participants. they will outshine them greatly because the tag match will be Michaels/Y2J and a bunch of ladders, with partners keeping their feet on the ground level most of the time. advantage ECW. and as stated before, Shelton does not need to win here, and likely won't yet. This feud will probably carry through to the rumble or around there with Shelton going over sometime around then, or Regal. (think last year with Swagger/Hardy, same time, same scenario to prep Christian for his brand jump) Christian has been the benchmark for what ECW is to be now, and truly set the bar high for veterans jumping over to help make others famous, and i think this match is his Christmas bonus for doing so, very excited for this match.

To be absolutely honest, I'm buying this PPV just to see this match. I haven't been this excited for a match since...well, I can't think of an example. But this match should be epic and I don't have a doubt in my mind that it won't live up to the hype. I'm pretty sure that this will be the match of the night.

It's fairly obvious that Christian will retain, although I'd love to see a Benjamin ECW title run. This will be head and shoulders better than Cena vs Sheamus in a tables match.

this is not going to be match of the year like most people are saying, because nothing is going to beat undertaker vs. hbk. But it will get damn close. They have Christian the guy that has great in ring psychology and theirs shelton Benjamen who not only is the best in the buisness at ladder matches, but also in my opinion the best younger in ring performer. And yes I would put him above John Morrison.

With other big profile matches on this card, I think this one will probably get overlooked. But I really like both of these guys, especially Benjamin in a ladder match environment. This one is going to be great, both of these guys know how to entertain, and im sure Benjamin will awe us with his athleticism and that will make for some great spots. Yeah, Benjamin isn't a future WWE champion and the guy can't cut a promo to save his life, but this is what Benjamin thrives in. This guy has awed us in MITB year after year, and I don't think this one will be any different.

As for who will win? Definitely Christian, as he is really being put over as the face of ECW right now. I don't really think this is a push for Benjamin so much as a statement match for the ECW brand. Most people don't pay close attention to ECW or take it seriously, and ECW title matches have been put to the side on the past PPVs. I think this match will help the ECW brand out a lot, and will get people to take notice.

I am SO excited for this match. Shelton is one of my favorite wrestlers and I'm glad to see him finally get his shot. Him and Christian in a ladder match has the makings of epic proportions. I hope that what Christian said is the truth. And that is these two will steal the show and I think it could happen if the E gives them the time this match deserves. And of course I'll definitely be cheering Shelton on to win the championship.

I too am very excited for this match. Like Christian said, "Over the past few ppvs, the ECW Championship has really been overlooked". He was right. Now, we have the ECW Championship being defended in a "Ladder match" featuring 2 superstars who know how to get the job done when it comes to gimmick matches. I completely agree that this could be "Match of the Year" candidate.

Christian has been ECW Champion since July 26th. He's defended against and defeated the likes of Tommy Dreamer, William Regal (3 times), Zack Ryder, and Yoshi Tatsu. He is, in my opinion, the greatest ECW Champion in the history of the new ECW. You really couldn't ask for a better ECW Champ. Shelton Benjamin, on the other hand, can make a great follow-up champ. He has just as much skills as Christian, more athleticism, just as good of a resume... they're both great!

They really can "steal the show" at TLC. And I have the confidence and the hopes that they can do just that. Both ladder match veterans. We've seen them wrestle before and we know they can do pretty good in the ring together. With the ECW Championship hanging in the balance, this will be no different.

Prediction: Shelton Benjamin wins the ECW Championship!

This could be something special. Christian is in his prime right now, in my opinion, and Shelton has been doing well lately on ECW. We both know what Christian's history in ladder matches is like. He has been part of the some of the best ladder matches of all time. And Shelton always puts on a great performance in Money in the Bank matches, so he's no slouch with ladders either.

Usually, I'd be expecting some silly spotfest, especially if this match was in TNA. But this is Christian and Shelton. It may be a spotfest, but it'll be one of those spotfests that are just genuinely awesome rather than just being high spot after high spot. Christian will be able to provide some really cool, creative spots and Shelton is slightly insane when it comes to ladders. So there's no way this won't be a classic. The only way this could turn out bad is if both men are having bad days. But I don't see that happening since I've rarely seen either man have a bad day and they can both put a good match on with anyone.

This is gonna be good. Really good. Like, better than Jericho vs Michaels in the ladder match good.

Good match to open the show. Should be the opener because of the glorified ladder match latter in the evening.

Shelton and Christian are both good in ladder matches, but Shelton will most likely notch the big finish. I'm not really sure who will win this. Christain will probably be in ECW for a while longer, so I doubt that he'll lose at this time in the year.

This match is going to be good. It won't necessarily steal the show like they are hoping to do, but it will definitely leave a good taste in people's mouths. Christian has been a part of some pretty big ladder matches in his career, and I'd have to say right now he is in his prime, and should be able to pull out a great performance.

As for Shelton, he always has those crazy spots during the MiTB match, so he should be able to perform quite well in this match. I am happy that Shelton is receiving a shot at the champ, and I think the belt just may change hands. I feel this way because of the simple fact that ECW doesn't get much pay per view time, so if they were on a pay per view, I believe something important would have to happen.

Please. Please. Please WWE!!! Give this match the time it deserves. Christian has put on good matches with everyone he's faced in the WWE so far. Shelton Benjamin, while having almost no charisma, is still a excellent worker, and a great technician. He can put on a great ladder match, remember his MiTB appearances? Christian is no doubt a king of the ladder. This match has the potential to be a showstealer if given the proper time. I don't want to see a quick 10 minute match. I want a REAL ladder match. I hope Shelton wins, give him one more chance.

This is the match that I am most looking forward to on the card for the night. It has been a long time since I was legitimately excited for a PPV and this match has really helped to feul my interest in the PPV as a whole. Christian and Shelton Benjamin are two of the best superstars on the ECW roster and no matter what the situation is, they will always manage to put on a great show. With taht being said, I am more excited that this match is a ladder match as we all know about the history that both men have had in the ladder matches they have been involved with.

Christian obviously pioneered the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match and we all know how successfule both he and Edge have been in those matches. With that in mind, I think that Shelton Benjamin is a more than ample opponent for him. I was very impressed with Shelton Benjamin in the last Money In The Bank ladder match and that will set him in good stead for this match. My mind is torn on this one. I think that because of the history Christian has in the match, that he will win. However, then I think that is what WWE will want us to think and that this will be the time that they take the belt off of Christian. We will just have to see...

X, you about ready to shit your pants? Ok.... I'm liking the matchup of these two men.

Now, any person on here will tell you I've been a Shelton basher for years. Never liked the guy. Always didn't have charisma in the ring, and was starting to get sloppy in the ring. And yes, I do believe he'll never amount to nothing more than a mid carder in the ring. But I'd be lying to you if I didn't say Shelton wasn't putting in good work recently. His matches with Ryder were great, and for once, I'm actually going to give Shelton credit, because I feel as though he carried as very green Zack to a decent little feud. Plus, this is Shelton's expertise, is it not? This is where he made his career off of, and he's facing someone who in turn has done the same. There should be high spots, impressive aerial assault, and this may be the Match of the Card.

If it isn't though.... You can believe I will be on here bashing Shelton. Unless Christian just really fucks up with something, I will be back here on my mantra that Shelton should be fired. Because, this time, he actually has me believing. And I'm a very jilted lover.

They could do something that the WWE hasn't done in time! they could let William Regal take the title, get the title vacant, and start a whole new feud between the WHOLE of ECW!

I really don't see that being the case christianno1fan. If Regal gets involved the whole match, in my opinion, will be a disappointment. Plus it seems that Regal has his own problems with his roundtable and trying to keep Zeke and Kozlov from ripping each other apart. I think for the time being Regal will be away from the ECW title. If WWE is smart they will let Christian and Shelton battle it out one on one. I really see Shelton winning the match and giving Christian a rematch on the ECW following TLC. This allows Christian to participate in the Royal Rumble and maybe win. Then Shelton can carry the belt into a feud with William Regal and whoever else ECW has in mind (JUST NOT VANCE ARCHER!).

This match is the reason I'm gettin the PPV,two get talented guys who do things that should be done to the human body,Shelton has been the star of every MITB matchs he been in and I love seeing him jump from the tops of ladders onto guys that are shittin there pants.Christian is Awesome he has talent and is great in the ladder match.Him and Edge are two of the best in that enivorment. So this will steal the show at TLC if they get a chance.

That just me!

I'm very excited for this match. Christian has always excelled in ladder matches and Shelton is always the guy to watch in MITB. This could very well steal the show; the only thing that could really hurt this match is time.

ECW rarely gets enough time on ppv, and I'm afraid the WWE won't give this match the time it needs to be great, especially with a TLC match involving 4 main eventers later that night. I really hope I'm wrong, but we know how the WWE works. I'm also afraid that Regal and co. may interfere, though that probably won't happen.

As for the winner, I'm picking Christian. Shelton's been doing good on ECW, but I don't see him winning the belt quite yet. If the two continue feuding, maybe at the RR or No Way-erm-Elimination Chamber, though I wouldn't be surprise to see Christian hold the belt till Wrestlemania.

I'm pretty excited for this match even. Christian and Shelton have both been involved with ladders in matches before so we know they are capable of putting on the match of the night on this PPV. I like that they have a feud where they are "respecting" one another a bit by putting the match over during promos more than the feud itself. This is a hint towards us seeing a GREAT match. That being said, I think Christian will retain. He has been ECW Champion for a long time now and his reign should continue because he is the best pick to be THE face of the brand.... Shelton on the other hand, I don't see a particularly good title reign coming if he wins. He's gotten better on the mic but I still don't like him much. So, Christian should get the win here and continue his great ECW title reign.

DAGGER DIAS PREDICTION
Christian will retain the ECW Championship.

This will probably be the match of the night. Christian is exciting and Benjamin and ladders always equal a good time and a good match. This will prove if Benjamin is still wanting to have a long run with the WWE or if he's just content with putting people over and having good matches in the process. Personally, I'd like to see Benjamin win the belt and see a lot of high spots, because the TLC match with DX and Jerishow sure won't have enough to satisfy anyone.

Both are great athletes and to me, I see Christian retaining here. Benjamin's good but he doesn't want to have the belt.

This screams filler feud to me. There aren't any heels for Christian to face right now with Sheamus gone and Regal babysitting Jackson and Kozlov. I'm sure this match will have plenty of incredible spots and potentially steal the show, but Christian should and will retain. Here's hoping that they got some better ladders since Tuesday though or we will see someone get really hurt.

I thought this match was great but what was all that physio shit in the middle of it, cleaning christian up and all that. Is that part of WWE's attempt at keeping ratings PG or something? Coz it made the match messy and got in the way!

Some quality spots from both wrestlers though - thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was easily one of the best matches of the night. What a great way to open the show. Intentional or not, Christian ended up looking beat the hell up, and the effort these two gave earned some ECW chants and I feel gave the ECW title a good bit of loving legitimacy.

I would love to see Christian back on either Raw or Smackdown - the man just has so much talent, I'd like to see him competing in the main shows (let's face it ECW isn't on a par with Raw or Smackdown). He was awesome tonight. Maybe they could set him in a storyline with EDGE when he returns!

I like Christian and I'm glad he won, but I think Shelton shouldve gotten the nod tonight. Hopefully this feud isn't over and Shelton will eventually win and then retain against Christian before Captain Charisma leaves for Raw or Smackdown. That cut Christian had was bad. I didn't like the pause in the match when he was cut. the blood can't be avoided forever.

They actually stopped the show for an extended period of time to seal up a minor cut on Christian's forehead? Wow.. what if the wrestlers got a paper cut or a scratch? God forbid we put that on TV. Much less PPV television. Unbelievable. I mean unless it is a Mass Transit incident, is it really a problem? I know WWE is hardcore TV PG but this is ridiculous.
