Finally, a solid ECW Title match on PPV. Overall, i must give WWE tons of credit for making all 3 brands much better over the last few months. the obvious question is; how much time will they give them? some will say that Shelton will botch a move here and there, they won't get the good spots because of the tag team TLC, Shelton doesn't have the mic work to be considered a serious contender. To all of those issues, i say; i would rather watch shelton attempt something that noone else in the company has the balls or athletic ability to pull off, and come up missing one or two. think about these two with a ladder compared to the tag match participants. they will outshine them greatly because the tag match will be Michaels/Y2J and a bunch of ladders, with partners keeping their feet on the ground level most of the time. advantage ECW. and as stated before, Shelton does not need to win here, and likely won't yet. This feud will probably carry through to the rumble or around there with Shelton going over sometime around then, or Regal. (think last year with Swagger/Hardy, same time, same scenario to prep Christian for his brand jump) Christian has been the benchmark for what ECW is to be now, and truly set the bar high for veterans jumping over to help make others famous, and i think this match is his Christmas bonus for doing so, very excited for this match.
