How the hell after reading that entire article you could not come to the conclusion that it was a work of fiction and satire. By the time you read comments about lines by then you would have to know it was not real.

Quite clearly, its Madden giving his view on how bad TNA is at business. Probably a bit harsh, and extreme, but I gotta be honest I sort of agree with him.

Lol. It would take a lot more than a "Moneyball" situation to resurrect TNA. They would have to be something they haven't been since Russo started for them. CONSISTENTLY GOOD. Not CONSISTENTLY BAD. Seriously, I think in about the three years I've known about TNA, I've only been able to sit through 4 maybe 5 iMPACT shows without changing the channel because of the lack of actual consistency in storylines. Sure, the wrestling is pretty good, but pro-wrestling is much that than that. There has to be intrigue, shock value and most of all, a little word I mentioned above. CONSISTENCY. You can't simply have a storyline that plays one week, get rid of it for a few weeks and then pick it back up whenever you feel like it. If you have a storyline going, keep it on the show every week. Also, fans, especially TNA/IW fans, are not dumb. Don't treat them that way. It's what turns people off from their product. Like Madden mentioned, yes, we know Kazarian and Brooks are married. Don't try and think, "Oh, maybe they forgot they were married this week." It's lazy, INCONSISTENT writing that only plays up Eric Bischoff's old saying that controversy creates cash. Well, when no one is watching already, where's the cash to be made?

I saw the name of this thread and decided that I should read the article, until I saw the name, "Billy Beane," and was like, "Oh...Madden is just kidding around."

Billy Beane was the manager of the 2002 Oakland As that the movie Moneyball is based on. Madden must have just seen the movie or something and thought this idea was funny. It would have been funnier if Madden hadn't stooped to his, "****es and drugies," gags that he can't avoid, but what else should we expect? Madden is a pig, but I guess it was funny to someone. I mean, Jeff is trying to get better (or at least that's what we're being led to believe,) and Karen Jarrett has kids. Sure, we all know what kind of a woman she is in real life, but don't put stuff like that about her on the Internet where a simple Google search of her name could lead her kids to it; at least give the kids some dignity, Madden.

Eh, I know the guy would never see this, but that's the sentiment I'd express to him if I had the chance.

I don't see what school has to do with it. It's some guy posting about some article posted on Wrestlezone.com. It has nothing to do with English, Maths or PE.

You know what I find amusing? This was probably one of Madden's better columns for a while. It was funny, satirical and made a few interesting points, yet the whole point of it seems to have disappeared into a "biggest d*ck" competiton on here. And for the love of god. Why, after all his legal troubles, would Jeff Hardy burst into a meeting with all the higher ups and say "Did somebody say lines?"

It's all good Myers. I honestly think it's a hoot that people take the little things so seriously. This has ended up being more entertaining that I expected . People that get that riled up over a single question, and call people names for it, and berate them is sad.

I don't live wrestling, but I enjoy it. As I said before Madden's rant had some believable thing's to it. I know it's not real now, obviously. The point was made after the very first irate IWC called me names and belittled me, but everyone has to jump on the bandwagon to show how tough they are on a forum..lol
