Idea for an HBK heel turn

Hacksaw Highway

Getting Noticed By Management
I've been thinking about how to bloow off the Triple H vs Randy Ortno feud, and I just couldn't come up with a way. Orton attacked Triple H's wife, so even when he wins the title he'll still want to fight Orton. Then, it came to me; the only way to get Triple H into a new feud, and free up the title picture, is to find someone for him to hate even more. Who better than HBK, the man whose career has intersected with his so many times? In the Stretcher Match portion of this Sunday's title match, Trips has Orton on the stretcher, when Priceless runs out. The two of them beat the hell out of Trips, who is by this point to beaten up and worn out to defend himself. Suddenly, HBK runs down the ramp and hits both members of Priceless with Sweet Chin Music. The crowd goes insane at the return of their beloved HBK, and another DX reunion. Shawn helps Trips up and then out of the blue super kicks the hell out of him. Shawn drags Trips to the stretcher, pushes Orton off, puts HHH on and pushes it over. They could explain it by having Shawn say that while he dislikes Orton as much as anyone, he hates Triple H for his little crusade against Orton. HBK could say The Lord wants Triple H to forgive Orton, etc. making him a hypocritical religious type heel. ANyways, that's my idea. Thoughts?

I say that is a pretty good idea. Shawn Michaels hasn't been a heel for a long time and it would really freshen up Raw alot. Good idea, I think it could work if they did it right

Idea of HBK turning heel is good. He hasn't been a heel since he fought Hulk Hogan. But that idea of it happening at The Bash and the way it happens in your idea absolutely sucked. But yea, i would like to see HBK as a heel at least one more time before he retires.

people would cheer Shawn over triple h anyday. but it would be nice to see Shawn as a heel one more time. hes alot funnier as a heel

I like the idea of a heel Shawn Michaels, when he feuded with Hogan a few years ago I think he was a heel for all of about a week!! (but even still his comments on the RAW after Summerslam when he lost to Hogan, "he'll (Hulk) not be back until he needs another pay off" are just great imo). We all know that Shawn can play a great heel and I for one wouldn't object to him turning, in fact it's probably a bit overdue...

while i do like you idea. i dont see it happing because they tried turning hbk heel in hogan storyline but he still got cheered. i dont think the fans will ever boo him again. it also wont happen because shawn will NEVER be a hypocritical religious type heel. i think his believes are too strong for him to do that

Hasn't this storyline already been done to death as it is?

Seems to me that happened about 5 years ago, except triple h was the heel.

It's just recycling storylines. Thats it.

Lets face it. The WWE we all used to watch and love is dead. DEAD!

It's time for a whole new cast of characters, with new storylines, less pay-per-views for more time to build up storylines, and for God's sake, lets get Vince McMahon off the air. Seems to me he is grasping at straws every which way but loose.

I absolutely love this idea, and it can work. Sure, Shawn and Triple H feuds have happened so many times since 2002, but, their always enjoyable. Shawn as a heel, is fun to watch. Because he gets on the mic, and he just rips his opponents to shreds. This time, people would boo him. Why? Because, many people love HHH. But I would love to see this go down. Have Shawn and Trips feud for a few months, and see how that goes.

I think people booed Hulk, and cheered for Shawn, because people are sick of Hulk Hogan. No one really cares about him, and it's true, he comes back when he needs another payoff. Shawn, please turn heel this sunday.

Good Idea..Would work...Buut not going to happen unfortunetly...It would be great but I 100% guarentee that once the feud goes for a while everyone will hate it...say its stail that they should magicly love each other again...It wont work.

It is time for Shawn to work heel again. There was shades of it happening at WM25 when he did the suck it sign and pulled the cameraman in front of the Undertaker's splash. Michaels is so beloved that he would have to turn on THE top face in a nasty way. It could work with HHH. It would be a shocker. Turning on Jeff Hardy before he leaves would give him serious heat. Or he could help out a heel as the guy who wrote this thread mentioned helping Orton.

Or he could be part of Vince McMahon's crooked clan to overthrow Trump. I'm sure Vince's group will be heel. Its time for Michaels to go back to his roots and be a top class heel that rips his oppenents to shreds on the mic and works the match in charge.

i love the idea of HBK as heel. maybe bring Sid by his side and he double crosses HHH and puts him on the shelf, giving him more time off?

I'd love o see HBK go heel. But I doubt it'll happen. Besides, he would never use his religous beliefs in that way. He's already said he would never do what he did during the 90's so let it go. But a heel turn would be cool and religous or not, funny as hell!

Nice idea, but can he truly be a heel? I think some wrestlers get to a point in their careers where they are SO loved, that a true heel turn is impossible.

Okay, it worked with Hogan, but he was never heel before. Shawn has been heel a few times now. I don't think the fans could ever really turn against him.

Trips is almost to that level also, but he's most known and most loved for being a heel. If Shawn turned on him, it might work, but guys like Taker, Shawn, HHH and Flair will, from now on, have a hard time selling as a heel.

The fans are crazy about them, and it would really take a lot to get that anger flowing.

It could work with Cena easily, but Shawn? I don't know.

I thought HBK said many times that he did not want to go heel anymore as he wanted to be a better impression on his kids and younger people. Maybe I am off, but I thought that is how it went.

Of course it can work. Chris Jericho just went from getting the most cheers into getting the most heat in under 3/4 months of turning. While i dont compare him to Shawn, the fact is veterans CAN turn heel. Like 1 other guy said though.. i don't see this working against Triple H alone. HBK will always be more of a fan favorite then HHH. Maybe if they get Flair into the picture and HBK brags about how he was the man to retire him and he never wanted to actually admit it.. but retiring him deep down inside was the best feeling of his life.

Michaels would have to partner with a major heel.. form a friendship. I guess the only one on Raw would be Orton.

But ya honestly, it wont happen. They had the chance after the Hogan match. They had their biggest chance after retiring Flair because Shawn was getting heat. Did you hear the boos when he came out to Flairs retirement ceremony? It could have/should have been done right there. He was getting heat again when teaming with JBL.. but just turned face yet again. It just wont happen.

I like the idea of having HBK turning heel. Turning him heel would be a difficult task considering he's practically a legend and pretty much everybody cheers for him. He's been around the roster in various feuds. Plus it would make his character much more fresh. If he were to turn heel, hopefully he'll be back in the main event scene. HBK deserves at least one more title run before he retires. The idea of a hypocritical religious persona wouldn't work though.

I'm a HBK mark and have been since I was 5 (16 years ago).. that being said.

SHAWN, SUCK IT UP AND BECOME A HEEL.
My god his character and my interest level in his promos are at an all time low. He played the heel in the Taker feud and it was great. But it wasn't full on heel, ripping into the Taker. I think that's actually a very likely scenario for this Sunday (and I wouldn't put it past creative.) As old as it is-Hbk/HHH, it's still more fresh than seeing Orton/HHH. It's been what 4 yrs? since Shawn and Hunter feuded.

Shawn as a heel is a great idea but instead of turning on Triple H, why not interfere in the Cena/Miz match. Align with Miz, kinda take him under his wing and teach him the ropes. I think that would give Miz instant credibility and instant heat on HBK. just a thought...

Building on the last post, they could also have HBK form another heel stable on RAW along side Miz and TBK called THE Awesome HeartBreakers. I know Legacy is there but every week they can cut promos against each other trying to out do the other stable.

Ok so I think I'm right in saying that neither HBK or Undertaker have been on TV since Wrestlemania? This is something I was hoping the WWE would do following that match but there's no reason why they can't still do it. (all be it with a few changes to my original plan)

Have CM Punk complete his heel turn at The Bash and build him up until Summerslam where he's meant to be competing against a major face (probably Jeff again) Have Jeff pick up an injury in some way or another on the night and when CM Punk comes out for the main event get him on the mic bragging about how there's nobody left for him to beat on Smackdown etc Then have the lights go out, the gong sound and out comes The Undertaker. He and Punk could have a quality match and just as it seems Taker is going to get the win HBK comes out and costs him the match.

Next night on RAW have HBK in the ring to open the show and he can explain that he wasn't going to let The Undertaker win the title in his comeback match and steal the headlines, that job belongs to HBK and after Wrestlemania they have unfinished business. Then have HBK continually cost Taker matches over the next couple of weeks whilst also beating down on some of the faces on RAW (MVP,Kofi etc) Then by the time Survivor Series comes along HBK should have some major heat and he and Undertaker can have their re-match.

I'd then love to see HBK go in to a feud coming up to next years Wrestlemania as a heel with an upcoming face the WWE are looking to put over (maybe Morrison?) Having him go on and on about being Mr Wrestlemania and then have the face score a win over him at 'mania.

Anyway I'm probably thinking far too far into the future and asking for a lot from the creative team (it also would've worked better with HBK on Smackdown) however I think HBK is at the stage where the only way for him to be a heel is to put him againt Undertaker, anyone else and the fans are still going to be behind HBK.

I don't think it's a good idea for HBK to turn heel. No way. He's in the twilight of his career and is most likely going to retire next year. We all saw how JBL retired, even though it's obviously staged, it's kinda sad to see him retire as a heel.

I love the idea, but Shawn is the Heart Break Kid, always was, and always will be! A hypocritical religous type heel gimmick, regardless of the fact that he is a born again christian, would kill the HBK gimmick and nick-name, just like what they did to the Y2J gimmick and nick-name! And I for one don't want that to happen! I want to see him as a heel one last time. But I want him to retire as a baby-face. How about they resurect the old cocky, cool, ego-maniac '90s HBK? I enjoyed that, it would be awesome to see again and he could elevate new talent to the moon! I like your thread and heel turn idea but I just don't agree with the hypocritical religous heel idea.

The besy way for hbk to come back as a heel that would be fresh would be legacy winning the tag tittles and at night of champions this new hart foundation took the tag straps and hbk comes back cuts a promo on these guys reffering to brett and how they are all nuggets. Cost them a few matches. Then teams up with kendrick says I'm the partner your looking for. Kick off a fued with the hart dynasty wins the tag belts (would be a great push those three guys need) turns on kendrick and goes solo from there to win the wwe strap as a heel.

Someone said have him turn on Flair and gloat about retiring him. That would bring him a ton of heat, and would ultimately be the best way to turn him heel at this point. Forming some kind of alliance with Orton wouldn't hurt either.

Truthfully though it would be hard to have him stay heel for an extended period of time because he is just so entertaining. The adults in the crowd would cheer him no matter how umuch of a bad guy he becomes.

Have HBK show up on Raw with his wife and announce in front of the entire world that he's dumping her for WrestleZone's queen diva Becca, who would suddenly appear out of the crowd!
