Hulk Hogan CURRENTLY scheduled for an in-ring segment tonight

Obviously, plans can change, and the Hulkster has yet to arrive at the building, but still, I've been calling this a work for months, and a damned good one at that, and I think this lends itself to that being true.

I said the other day that HOgan will be involved in the 6 man tag in some way. It's my opinion if he comes out from the beginning, he's going to turn heel. If he comes out midway thru the match, a la Bash at the Beach, it will be a double swerve where everyone thinks he's going heel, and he doesn't, but ends up getting laid out, with "They" standing over him. Overall, though, the worked injury seems to indicate that Hogan is turning heel.

What do you guys think?

I'm very skeptical of that, when there is no citation.

I'm as big a Hogan mark as they come, but I just don't see it, considering TMZ is even reporting his issues.

If this is a work, it is easily the biggest one in history; rivaling Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler.

I hate to be a negative fan here, but how is this important? What is he going to say that hasn't already been said by Bischoff or himself already a million times. He is gonna talk bad about Sting and Nash and how they were all together in WCW. He is gonna come back for one more match again when he is healthy? Which is god knows when. Nothing new or exciting can come out of this besides counting how many times he says brother and goes for a cheap pop from the crowd in the Zone. I don't see with his health issues that he will be there, but who knows I guess we will just have to wait and see.

The Hogan back surgery stuff is real. I cant see him working everyone including TMZ and a hospital. I figured maybe a taped segment out of Hogan to name the 3rd member of Jarrett's team for Sunday, but there is NO way he is doing anything physical tonight. From what I've read, he can't even stand up. PWInsider reported as of a few moments ago Hogan is not at the impact zone. I know he could always show up later, but I must say I find it highly unlikely.

Even if this was a work it's nowhere near that level...

I don't think it is a work at all, Hogan has been having back problems lately and Bischoff has said that these storylines have been planned since March... To me, it's obvious that these are last minute problems... Eric even said himself that he's working on a plan b...

I think it would be pretty hard for Hogan to work TMZ and have false reports about him...

I personally don't believe the report saying he'll be there... They left themselves an easy way out saying thay plans change... I won't believe that he'll be there until he is actually there... Until then, it's just dirt sheet gossip...

I've been wondering the same thing, what if it's all a "work" but like other's have said on here, for TMZ to cover something like that, it's prolly real. Unless TNA, And TMZ are in on it together...lol Anyways I think hogan will do some video shoot tonight, VIA Satalite u know, But again u never know.

Yeah Hogan wont be there tonight, unless he pre-recorded something. ANd if its a work, I'm the "They" Abyss is talking about. I know Hogan wanted to be there, but he simply can't be because his back. Plus, WZ already reported he wasn't there.

Hogan is not going to be there tonight. He is in worse shape than Terry Funk and funk is 9 years older than him. I'd rather watch Funk wrestle a match than Hogan. Hogan cant do anything in the ring anymore. Not sayin I don't like Hogan, but hes old and simply cant do it anymore. He's had too many surgeries recently and should not even attempt it. I know i'd be sad if im watchin Impact tonight and see him come out, try to do something and fall down not being able to move. IF he is there, hopefully its only to give a promo.

Do people not understand the nature of a work? Wow, Hogan Tweeted that he's injured. COngrats. That doesn't mean it's not a work. It's totally possible that it's real, and he's not going to be there, but Hogan telling people that he's hurt isn't proof of anything in this type of situation. The proof will come at BFG.
