Hogan Flair TNA ring Debuts!!!

Occasional Pre-Show
Well...it looks like Flair and Hogan are going to lace up the support hose...errrrr...boots again inside the squared circle. Yes wrestling fans its time once again for Flair to carry Hogan thru a match, only to yet again job to the Hulkster! Oh no...Hogan's down...no...wait...he's shaking his head...pumping his arms are glancing around!!! The terror! Flair hits him...again...again...no affect! Hulkster POINTS at Flair!!!! Flair backs away in horror...back back...takes a punch....Hogan amazingly blocks it! Hogan hits...ONE punch...TWO punch THREEE punch!!! Throws Frair into the ropes, Flair comes back and OH NO!!! The big boot by Hogan followed by the lamest leg drop in history! Hogan wins!! Hogan Wins!!!!

First of all...I am very disappointed in Flair. He is destroying his legacy by getting back in the ring to lose to Hogan yet again. After the send off he got, HE should be ashamed. There is NOTHING to be gained unless they have AJ somehow beating Hogan...yeah right.

Hogan..always sucked...but now...come one....I could put on a more convincing performance in that ring and I am in pretty rough physical shape myself.

So here's the question...are you excited to see Flair vs Hogan in TNA...or are you just fed up with it all?

Okay listen, you are talking about how it is just going to be hogan and flair. Most of the match will be Abyss vs. AJ and there will be run-ins, with out a doubt, and to be honest it doesnt ruin Flair's legacy at all. He already wrestled hogan on the hulkamania tour in ausie.

I AM EXCITED because these two are two of the biggest names in wrestling history and just their names draw so i am excited.

I honestly think Hogan so far has been doing a lot of good for TNA and he is appearing to be smarter than everyone gives him credit for. I doubt Hogan or Flair will get the 1-2-3 in this. If anything I predict the new dirtiest player in the game AJ Styles to get the pin on Hogan in that match. What better way to put AJ over as the top guy than that?

Should be fun to watch. Instead of criticizing two legends of wrestling, can't we just watch and enjoy. I mean if it wasn't for these two men, would anybody be watching today?

I would be thrilled to see this attention grab main event actually benefit somebody who could use the rub. Styles is a great performer, but Hogan and Flair are in a different league than 95% of the names active in the industry. Regardless of the age factor, Styles over Hogan (even in a tag match) would be something to see.

Flair & Hogan couldn't produce good matches together over fifteen years ago and those matches have never had the aura they should've had. That said, Hogan's wrestling debut in TNA should still be made out to be a big deal, instead it's on TV, pointless. Not only that, but Hogan mistakenly thinks that Abyss is the man to do most of the work and presumably sell for the heels, Styles really does have his work cut out for him.

Well I guess this doesn't reall come as a surprise to anyone... personally, I don't think it's really that devastating a development - as long as Flair and especially Hogan realise that either of the wrestling should be a one-off kind of thing, and should by no means evolve into something permanent. So far, the Hogan/Bischoff team at least seemed to have realized that it needs to push the younger talent over the old timers, and they are doing that - even if the old timers still pull out the occasional win (which is necessary - for what purpose would it serve if old, established stars just came to TNA in order to job to some twenty-years-olds week in and week out?).

But I hope that especially Hogan realises that he's just beyond that point where he can carry a company as a fulltime wrestler, and especially champion... As said, so far they're doing a good job with trying to establish AJ Styles as THE big thing in wrestling right now; hopefully they'll keep that up.

Now for that match, I really don't expect much, considering the participants involved... though Hogan probably should've picked someone else but Abyss (Kurt Angle, anyone?!). We'll see how good/bad this turns out, an hopefully it really does stay a one-time thing.

As much as I love Flair, this is not how I want him to get back in the ring. Hogan and Abyss? Blah. I can only think that this match will produce one of the following:

1) Hogan attacks Abyss during the match or leaves him stranded which would create more friction between Hogan/Bischoff vs Foley.

2) Or we are introduce to the newest member of Flair/Styles team. Who to choose from though? I would love to see AJ/Joe/Daniels together with Flair. Especially since whenever Flair is involved it usually means some kind of stable is formed.

I wouldn't be suprised with Anderson got involved since he is sort of Hogan's "Chosen One" plus the little feud with Abyss. I'm not too excited about the match itself but very excited about what the conclusion will be. Hopefully this will be the first major step towards "Lethal Lockdown"

though Hogan probably should've picked someone else but Abyss (Kurt Angle, anyone?!).

Well if the decision to book this match was for match quality alone, Kurt Angle would be the best choice obviously. However Kurt doesn't need the rub. He's already a superstar in every wrestling fans eyes. From everything I've read Hogan is a huge fan of Abyss and I think he's got big plans for him. So I think that's part of the reasoning for this; to hopefully grab a bunch of Raw viewers and have Abyss put over to them as a superstar.

I mean obviously us longtime TNA fans know Abyss, but I doubt most of the fans of today's WWE know.

That's what's suppose to take away fan from RAW on march 8th. A tag team match Between a guy that's gonna move in Hogan teaming up with a guy that never be consider a main eventer in AByss against another 60 year old guy that shouldn'T be in the ring in Ric Flair and the guy that's been overshadowed since joining with Ric Flair in A.J. styles. Yeah right, good luck with that. Personally i don'T really understand Hogan's obsession with Abyss but you know that this match isn't to put over A.J. at all. It to put over Abyss, probably Abyss is going to beat Ric Flair in this match making him a big star that he should be an having Hogan talk about how Abyss is the next John Cena like he'S been doing on BTLS ever since he started with the company.

If that's the best they can do to attract viewers, i don't give them a chance in hell of succeding. I Stop watching TNA for the exact reason that i hated watching WWE last year, because of these old guys not knowing when it was time to quit ans leave to place to the next generation. Now WWE is starting to understand that and are giving me a chance in seeing new star being created while TNA is continuing in having Old Guys take the spotlight. Sure Flair and Hogan are the 2 biggest name in wrestling but this is not 1994 and where not in WCW, so i don'T want to see them wrestle anymore, it just to painful to watch and makes me forget how great they once were. Now they are just pathetic.
