How Matt Hardy should Debut?

He looks in shape to me.

He lost about 30 pounds. From what I've noticed, he purposely kept the fat from his surgery just to get released from WWE. I guess it worked for Mickie, he thought it would work for him.

I fail to see how him being a midcarder in WWE makes him going to TNA any different. Christian was a midcarder in WWE, he went to TNA and became a star.

TNA took Elijah Burke and Ken Anderson from WWE and turned them into main event stars. The whole Matt Hardy argument with that is irreverent.

And Christian did it on his own steam, Edge was in WWE.

Similar to Christian they did it on their own steam. The thing with Matt is he very well could become a star but he doesn't seem to want to work for it (the way Christian did and Pope and Anderson are) so coming in because of his brother seems lazy.

We really don't know that. What we do know is after the way they shitted on his brother, he wanted out. He could have been biting his tongue for awhile now. Who knows.

I'm sure none of them were happy when WWE actually had them cut a promo on personal shit. Hardy's dog, Jack dying in a house fire. Stuff that was real emotional to them personally.

Now, that Jeff got a super push and Jeff dictates his own character. It seems that Matt wants to do the same in TNA instead of WWE telling him what to do which is where he keeps plugging at.

You're probably right about Matt wanting to dictate his own character and personal stuff happening (I read WWE apparently called him out about his weight on tv) and I guess I should reserve judgement if/when he debuts and what happens after, but to me it seems he wants an easier ride to the top with Jeff than on his own.

I don't know about an easier ride. It seems like they are building a Hardy brand more than anything. If he does go to TNA, wrestling would be a secondary role.

He is bringing back his OMEGA promotion, The Hardy Show and a bunch of other projects. Which would be directly tied to TNA.

He wants to spice up the wrestling business. IWC underestimate the amount of power these two have within the mainstream wrestling continuity. If TNA does end up signing Matt, Gregory (who is Velvet's ex) and Kimo (who already worked there). What ever ideas that they come up with TV wise and mainstream wise could really be huge.

Matt Hardy could be a big factor of the companies future.

I'll pitch one outside the box idea for Matt Hardy. He debuts as a dirt sheet media heel. He is going to air dirty behind the scenes laundry of those in TNA via videos, reports etc. Some of the reports are real, can come from past or present and either company, while some is a work. TNA launches a real dirt sheet site off of this storyline and uses his youtube channel to promote upcoming conflicts during the week.

Matt Hardy first needs to go on an extended leave of absence from the ring. Heal any nagging injuries and work on his umm growing gut. Work out and diet like a mad man to get back into shape. Also maybe cut his hair and come up with a whole different look.

Maybe have some "cryptic" vignettes or they could have someone like RVD refer to Matt as "Him" or "He". Keep hyping "He" like Abyss hyped "They". There are so many cool ways to bring him in, but I'm affraid TNA will end up dropping the ball as usual. Unfortunately they don't have the WWE's ability to market and hype a debut. I realize Matt Hardy is just Matt Hardy, but TNA could give Matt the best chance to succeed if they give him a proper debut.

Building on this, remember when on his web TV program, RVD trained the Ultimate Warrior for his match versus Orlando Jordan in Barcelona, Spain?

He could do the same thing... and maybe Warrior will want to wrestle again, this time by surprise instead of building up to a single event and then vanishing off the face of the earth once more?

I mean, who better to foil Hulk Hogan? Not to mention, Warrior and Sting could form the Blade Runners again :) A double tag team with RVD and UltiMatt

The idea i came up with as soon as i read this article, and reading everyone's post, is how about if Matt comes in on his own, but at the same time, is trying to help clear his brother's mind of all the lies fed in by the Immortals, and Matt starts taking out some of the lower members of Immortal (trimming the fat). From there, he talks to Jeff, and thinks that Jeff is starting to regain control of himself, where at some point it is The Hardys against Abyss and AJ, where Jeff stabs Matt in his back, and tells the world he is playing to his own drum, not others, finally making the Jeff Matt war, where possibly even making the end of Immortals, where Matt joins with Morgan and Pope.

That is a great gimmick and is on of the few ways Matt Hardy could be come relevant in TNA. It adds to the whole internet fan base that TNA likes to cater to like and pretty much a mattitude version of reaction. I would enjoy this because it keeps him away from jeff hardy, matt shouldnt even touch jeff hardy until he pulls some stock for TNA.

Jeff hardy is still a top superstar when you look at the grand scheme of things as far as building a wrestlers cred. Clean wins over edge, cm punk, HBK, HHH, Undertaker, now he is the top heel for TNA, he shouldnt even be in the ring with Matt Hardy unless Matt Hardy somehow beats a secondary guy in TNA like an Aj Styles, Pope, Samoe Joe feud. He should be kept away completley from the top TNA guys like anderson, hardy, angle.

And the only way he should be attatched to Jeff Hardy is if Fortune turns on Immortal and somehow a Hardy vs AJ Cage match takes place have the stipulation that anyone from the TNA locker room will be fired if they interfere is in place, have Jeff climbing up the cage and AJ going for the door matt hardy slams the door in AJ's face hits him with a his own verison of twist of fate. Have him call for Jeff to do a swanton and Jeff throws his shirt at AJ spits down at him and does a swanton off the cage. He then walks out the cage with his brother it gives Immortal enough guys to feud with Fortune and Matt Hardy is in a main feud.

I prefer the interent route though

I got an idea for a Matt Hardy debut and it is AWESOME!!! He should sit at home and stay there. Seriously, why the hell is TNA thinking of bringing in this guy? He is a fat jobber that can't wrestle. He will probably steal air time from someone who is actually good. I think he will probably end up in TNA because they like fat whinny losers like Tommy Dreamer. Why does that guy have a job? All Matt Hardy is gonna do is hog up air time and take the spot of a younger and more talented guy. Even then he will probably bitch about how he isn't getting a "fair" shot to shine. This guy is NOT a main eventer and never will be. He somehow thinks that he is this awesome talent when he is just very mediocre. The reason he never got a push is because he is fat, boring, ugly, and not a very good wrestler plus his voice sounds stupid. I am hoping that TNA avoids throwing away their money on this guy. They would be better off donating to a local charity then hiring this fat slob.

Matt could stay out of the ring and become relevant by joining Jeff, playing on his heel turn and fued they had by saying "I was right and you saw the light" sort of thing. It then reunites 1 of the most popular tag teams as needed DX style giving credence to Matt being part of Immortal

I don't think his mic skillz are up to it though :(
