I still don't understand Slater getting two pinfalls during the match. Surely Barrett pinning Jericho would have made more sense.

Gabriel's finisher really isn't a good mid-match move imo. It's the exclamation point of a beastdown. Hence somebody needed to pick up a kill for him. Barrett simply doesn't need to eliminate someone he's been gotten over as enough of a threat already.
